I had always been naive, and thought that security was something that could be hired to protect your assets. Now I know, that when a tenant has the legal right to gather their belongings within 2 weeks after eviction, security can be hired to allow the land owner the ascess to stealing all of the tenants valuables, even when its against the law, and security will help prevent the rightful owner to their belongings within the 2 week legal time period that they are supposed to have the right to. Heads up bad people, these folks will not turn down that kind of job due to having any morals.

Overland Security has operated locally since 1947. I am sorry to hear the wife of a former employee is upset with her husbands pay and apparently doesnt understand California payroll requirements. My attempts to reach out to them have yielded no response. As owner of Overland, I wanted to meet with both and review the situation, but our staff was met with telephone hang ups and unanswered phone calls. We have acted in the best manner possible and invite our former employee to contact us to resolve the situation.

If you want to work 18 hrs for 12 an hour your better off working in the strawberry fields! This company has taken advantage of their employees for years! They know every way to screw you out of overtime. But can guarantee they charge the business for having an officer there for 18 hrs and charge them more after 8 hrs of the officer being there but still only pay their officer 12.00. If that employee is working 18 hrs and on the clock for that whole time then they are owed the overtime after 8 hrs weither it’s after midnight or not! California won’t put up with this! And I made him quit! The best part is they had to buy new uniforms (they provide) for a very large guy and I hope it makes up for the loss we encountered. His paycheck didn’t even cover his gas for 2 weeks!

This Security Service is a jokeAs a former employee”overland security” Has very weak leadership traits& the people that work there DIDN’T take their job very seriously, unfortunately.Put my weeks notice & left !
