Reached them for my coast-to-coast move from California to North Carolina in June 2020.Pricing:I was able to finalize on the quote over the email communications itself. I was offered a reasonable pricing that fitted well under my budget.On the day of move:Their team reported on time. All my furnitures were neatly wrapped using heavy packing blankets. All my moving boxes were taped again for double protection. They brought packing boxes that suited my mattress size. Electronics and heavy items were clearly marked. They came with per-printed labels and every item got numbered from 1 in an increasing order.At destination:Got my stuff delivered in same condition despite of being shipped from 3000 miles away. Got my items delivered well within the quoted time frame too. All the furnitures and heavy items were placed based as per request. They made my inter state movement look very simple and easy.I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a short/long distance move.

MY MOVE handled my move from San Francisco, CA to Brooklyn, NY with care and quality customer service. I had less than a month to move across the US and choosing this moving company made my life a lot easier. The customer service leading up to the move was impeccable for someone who had no idea what to expect for a cross country move. Even when I needed extra explanations regarding the insurance and I did a conference call with my wife with customer service representative.Richard was kind and made sure that we understood everything. He was also my point person through out my entire move which I appreciated so that I was always speaking with someone that knew all the details of my move.The movers on both sides of my move were superior. I especially give a lot of credit to the gentlemen that moved me in San Francisco. My point person was super friendly, explained the process to me, and had delightful conversations with me. They were beyond helpful and careful with my belongings. When my things arrived in NY, it was a short turnaround to get my things into my apartment. The movers in NY were also super kind and made sure that I had all of my items.Also, I used this company to move my car and everything was done speedily and with proper handling.I found MY MOVE on Yelp and I found that they had the most competitive pricing by a few hundred dollars.Overall, it was a blessing that I found this company to handle my move. Great move from start to finish. The guys were fantastic in their handling of my items, especially my baby grand piano, which had to go down a large flight of stairs. Would definitely use again!

Do not hire this company! MyMove did a cross-country move for us in August 2018. It was a complete disaster! Breakable items were placed in boxes without padding or protection. When we weren’t in the room to watch each packer carefully, they tossed breakables in boxes, along with other objects and without padding. They stacked heavy objects on top of lighter furniture when loading the truck. They lost part of our shipment.One of the biggest problems with this moving company: they often load your belongings in a truck and pile them from floor to ceiling, without paying attention to the things that will crush or break. Then they unload them into their warehouse, again stacking them without care. When they are ready to deliver, they re-load the items onto another truck, which may or may not unload somewhere mid-point and reload it onto a third truck. When the truck arrives and they are ready to unpack it, they hire a local teams with no particular affiliation with MyMove. They are simply workers who need a job and are willing to schlep heavy stuff off the truck. No training regarding breakage or putting things back together when they arrive. All of this caused much more damage.Nearly all our wood furniture, including many desks, bookcases, and end tables, arrived broken. An expensive patio table was packed without removing the legs, stacking heavy boxes on top of it, and the legs snapped off. They did not bother to take the furniture apart completely and often carried it as a unit by the shelves, causing shelves and parts of the furniture to break off.They lost part of our shipment, and it took multiple phone calls for them to recognize that they left it in the warehouse. They were often slow returning phone calls or email.Richard did our first meeting and set up the contract with us. He was attentive and helpful, but in the end none of this mattered because of the way our belongings were packed and broken.Our experience with MyMove was a disaster, and I strongly recommend not using this moving company. They don’t care about your belongings. They care about making money and cutting corners to maximize their profit..

MyMove is responsible for making sure that the items you want shipped are delivered. We got our initial batch of items, but we were told by the movers 10% of the inventory is missing and unaccounted for. We called MyMove who spent the next 45 days trying to figure out what happened, but eventually found them and shipped.If you are looking for a competent company who is unlikely to lose your items, look elsewhere.

I highly recommend the folks at My Move. They did an excellent job moving all my moms furniture and personal belongings from CA to MA. The level of communication by this team was A+ as well as the crew from the start to the end.

Worst experience ever from a moving company. I have moved multiple times so have experience. Group of the most incompetent movers ever. Spent way to much to have most of my items damaged or lost. Save your money and use another company!
