I took my vehicle for Alignment elsewhere, when I was told that my rear tire is wobbly, and need it looked further. I called the service manager Mr. Paul to see if 1 of my 2 warranty’s will cover the the repair cost. He agreed to have Billy look into it and find outPaul the service manager was so welcoming , he immediately spoke to Billy. The following week I brought my car and went to see Billy, who was absolutely the nicest. He listen carefully, telling me he need to keep the car overnight. He had the part available as well, since I need a car to go to work, he immediately called the car rental company to pick me up and provide me with a vehicle.From when I dropped of and picked up my car, everything went smooth. I was impressed and couldn’t be more grateful.If you go to Ford Service Department ask for Billy, he is very knowledgeable and personable.

I called and made an appt for an oil change. I received a call from Duke confirming what I wanted done and asked if there was anything else Ford could do for me while it is at the dealership. I explained that if it wasn’t a safety matter I would like to wait on anything else as I had just had my brakes replaced and needed to wait for a bit. He was kind and understanding and did not do the hard sell and my car was ready as promised. It was a great visit and a big thank you to mechanics and Duke.

Easy to work with, great price on my 2021 F150. Fantastic buying experience.Poor experience post purchase with delivery and service. The truck has been in four times now to address delivery quality issues that should have been fixed on the first trip back.On the most recent trip today, I noticed that the paint was damaged in several places, almost like the truck has been vandalized. Theyre going to pay for it but its not cool to have to repaint a brand new $70,000 truck. And its not cool that they didnt notice it and I had to find the damage myself.

Overall a positive experience, did drop my car off mid-morning Friday and they didn’t get a chance to look at my car until Monday. They did a good job of communicating to me the issues and the labor behind it and I was able to have someone else pick up my car because I was out of town.

Great service once you can schedule it. Had an extremely difficult time trying to schedule a recall service. I had received two (2) emails stating the parts are in and I needed to schedule an appointment. After the second email I called San Leandro Ford Service Department. The call went to voicemail but didn’t allow you to leave a message. Then I called and asked the lady who answered if she could help me. She said yes until I said it was a recall. Again, went to voicemail even though I had told her I tried this earlier. Then went online to schedule the appointment. Was told by the person I was chatting with at San Leandro Ford, that someone would contact me within an hour; never happened. Then called the Ford corporate offices. A very nice lady helped me and stayed on the phone until I received an appointment. After that all went great. Went to the appointment and the service was very good….

We brought our car a week ago to get the transmission fixed. We were treated very nicely, and we got the message that hopefully the car would be fixed in two days. The next day we were told it would take longer, but by Tuesday (next week) it would be done (Wednesday the latest), and that they would update us on Monday. It is Wednesday and we havent been updated.We dont have loaner car. We dont have a clue on when the car will be fixed. I have called asking for an update, and all I got was we are working on it, I will ask someone to call you with more details, but still no call.I honestly feel like having my car kidnapped. And in the meantime I have to rent a car to be able to go to work. On top of that, the transmission problem they are fixing was a known issue by Ford, so I feel like they should ready to fix this type of issue. Beyond disappointed.

The door locks on my F150 were randomly locking and not unlocking with the fob or the door buttonand we were scheduled to leave on a trip. I had hoped for a easy re set, but it turned out to be a wire short.My service advisor Matt got us out in time for our trip!Even though it was a pricey repair, we were glad to have the work done professionally.

Every time the truck is serviced it takes 15+ minutes to get the truck. Last service the man behind me in the cashier line got his vehicle before me.Please note : the word service in the phase Customer Service is not what a bull does to a cow.

Got new tires with warranty week before. Tire was loosing air. Took vehicle back to ford store. Left vehicle with them in the morning. Was told that the vehicle will be ready by end of day. Got a call later on the day and was advised the vehicle will be ready next day. Went to store next day. No action was taken on the vehicle. Have to take vehicle to another Tyre repair shop to get it fixed.

I’m not usually one for leaving reviews, but I have to let everyone know about the phenomenal experience I had with service at the ford store san leandro. Long story short, I had a very unique and major issue with my focus rs that is often misdiagnosed as a simple and cheap fix (replacing a single bolt vs resealing the timing cover). To further add to the stress, I brought it in to service with literal days left on the powertrain warranty.It would have been easy and honestly understandable if I was given the quick fix then sent on my way with a $2k+ repair bill waiting for me just out of warranty. Billy Severs and all the other techs there didn’t let this happen. Billy listened to my concerns, didn’t talk down to me, and really tried to understand the problem I was describing even though I’m no mechanic. He and the rest of the team there were able to get the actual underlying issue addressed under warranty from Ford, as well as a couple other minor issues, at NO cost to me.It’s hard to articulate how easy this would have been for them to do the bare minimum and NOT take care of me. However, every member of the ford store san leandro went above and beyond and did the right thing. While there is always going to be stigma against dealers, I have to give them my highest recommendations. If you’re looking for a dealer that will listen to your concerns and treat you like a genuine human being, you’ve found the right spot.

Excellent service. When you get to the service area. They take your data and if it is necessary that you leave the car. They call you to notify you that it is ready. Your waiting time is practically very minimal for all the service that they will give you. Definitely recommended

We came to San Leandro Ford after a very bad experience at Fremont Ford. The dealer is very nice and we had a great buying experience of Mustang Mach E. Because of the popularity of this car, we went to a couple of Ford dealerships in the Bay Area and none honor the X-plan (though they should). SL Ford promised in the phone call and they happily honored the X-plan for Mach E. The finance department also gave us a very good rate. Amazing team!

I bought a brand new battery for my 2008 escape hybrid and the car will not startThey told me to run a diagnostic to find the solution to the problem (cost $230)That place was the Ford dealership where I bought the car 13 years ago.After doing my own research online I found somebody who had the same problem and was sharing a solution.To make it short .the point is there is a reset button to push and then wait 8 minutes to jumpstart the high voltage hybrid battery.oyherwise it wont work.I was able to follow that procedure andStart the car...Bottom line. Perhaps ford should train their technician so they know hybrid problem and not gouge people .For my situation I think they should haveGive me a free of charge service includingThe new dc battery.considering the stressAnd the waist of time .

Looked everywhere, did my research and finally settled on getting a Ford F-250. I was fine with bringing home a used truck 2019-2020 range Because that’s what all the dealerships were trying to sell me for the price I wanted to pay and payment that I had in mind. The amount everyone wanted to give me for my trade-in was about the same. I spoke to Juan Marquez at San Leandro Ford and he said, to come in, he had a 2021 F-250 he would like to show me. I was hesitant but he assured me he could make it work. So we went in and test drove a beautiful brand new truck, still not really believing 100% I would be making a deal. Well, Juan was true to his word! He kept my payment where I wanted it by giving us more than what we expected for our trade-in. We were Signing a contract and driving home in our brand new truck within two hours! We are extremely happy with our purchase and highly recommend San Leandro Ford! Ask for Juan Marquez! I had a terrible experience. I got my car towed in last Monday since it wouldnt start. I informed Mat (I believe hes a mechanic manager) that my car would occasionally not start. He informed me he would have an answer by noon on Tuesday. I had to call him at 12:30 to get an answer, and he informed me it would cost extra to see what was wrong with my car since they couldnt figure out the problem. Initially, it was $230.00. He bump the price to $460 with confirmation of the problem by 4:30. I drove by and saw my car unattended. I asked why and he said theyre busy, but by Wednesday at noon, hell definitely have an answer. I felt he was lying and I drove by Wednesday to see my car still unattended. Mat went out his way to not talk to me until there was no other option. At this point I got my car towed to another location. Mat said they were busy. The mechanic checked my wires and that came back positive.That Thursday the mechanic I took it to informed me I needed a new starter. This was a simple fix that didnt have to take a whole week to falsely attempt to figure out. I took this car to Ford and the workers of Ford couldnt figure out it was a simple starter.I honestly deserve my money back for them wasting my time and being lied to.

This was a return visit since my initial service date the work was not completed as promised. I want to thank Paul (Manager of Service Dept.) for assisting with my return visit and making sure the diagnosis was performed. Upon completing their diagnosis I was informed of the issue causing my car alarm to malfunction. Unfortunately the part and labor estimate was for too expensive so I had to decline their offer to repair as I already paid $230.00 for the diagnosis initially.

THE worst Ford you could possibly go to. We made a mistake and didn’t check the reviews before we came here. I’m warning you to not come here unless you’re okay with them stealing money from you. We brought our car for a check engine light that was covered under warranty but they lied and refused to cover it so I had to pay out of pocket. Took it to the Ford in Walnut Creek the next day because the issue still wasn’t fixed and they didn’t charge us because IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY! This place WILL scam you and lie to your face about it. Careful with Paul, he’s the one we talked to. Definitely never coming here again.

I had a real good experience at The Ford Store San Leandro and it is attributed to the presentation of Nicole Keane - the Sales Associate. There was no forced sales pitch, no sales rush. I viewed several vehicles prior to making the selection of choice. Nicole treated me as a family member. She answered all.my questions and when she did not have an answer she was honest and shared she would go to ask someone and come back with a response - which she did. Nicole was assisted by another Associate - Viva - but Nicole remained the main contact person.The purchase involved a trade in followed by cash - no financing. When I recently went in for an oil change, someone forgot to notify me that my car was ready. The manager Nicole called that day to apologize and find out what happened, and offered a free oil change or detailing session to make it right.

This is the second Eco Sport I purchased. I returned the first one because the brakes squeaked so bad. It was so embarrassing that I couldnt pull up forward in my driveway, I had to back in so the neighbors couldnt hear the noise..I traded for a 2020 it does the same. Ford does not want to solve the problem, they said nothing wrong. I had a rental of the same car and no squeak not one time. I think I am getting lemons. I wouldnt recommend anyone to San Leandro Ford. I am very disappointed.

This one-star rating is mostly due to the service team not returning my attempts to contact them. Despite several attempts to get in touch with them via phone (unable to get a live person) and using their websites live chat feature (see attached pics), I have not yet received a response in over a month.I brought my 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid (which I purchased at the San Leandro Ford Store) for its 120 K service on 10/09/20 and worked out the plan for this service with Matthew, who elected to go a 90 K Value Service, with several a la carte features, rather than use the stores pricing which he said was glitching and way too expensive. I appreciated this gesture, despite being annoyed and concerned about the exorbitant rates in the system (Mathew showed me a screen shot), as paying $1500 for a service visit seems like way too much. I will further discuss this pricing issue in another review, but thats not the main issue here.During this initial conversation I explained that one issue we were having was an orange check engine style alert light on our dash for our a failure of a tire pressure gauge sensor (see attached pic), that had been going on pretty continuously for over a year, but that our tires were never flat (because we were constantly checking), and so I asked Mathew and the service techs to look into that.When I returned to pick up the Escape at the end of the day, it was just before closing and felt rushed, so we were not able to go over the full a la carte paperwork, and due to COVID, I was OK with that and just wanted to get out of the interior office space, and figured if I had any questions, we could discuss later, but as soon as I got into the Escape I noticed the SAME ORANGE ALERT LIGHT was still lit up. Which means the technician would have also seen the light when turning on the engine as well.I considered going back in to find out why this hadnt been addressed, but as it was closing time on a Friday (the technicians had left for the day), I just wanted to get home and discuss it later over the phone. I called on Monday 10/12/20, but did not get a live person, and then used the websites chat feature on 10/15/20 (which I HAD gotten a response from the service manager on a pricing issue before I paid and picked up the vehicle, so figured it was the best method). After not hearing back from anyone for a few days, I tried the chat feature again (see attached pics), on 10/22/20 (and mentioned I had not yet gotten a response), but still to this day, more than a month later, have not heard any response from anyone at the San Leandro Ford Store.Im not sure if Mathew forgot to include my request or the technicians forgot to check it. The quote portion of the paperwork states that the final Job 7 of the a la carte service tasks listed as Perform Mandatory Tire Inflation System Check, Check all operating vehicle tires for correct air pressure and adjust if necessary and Recall Check Acknowledgement, which I thought might be the task of determining why the sensor is failing, causing the alert light to go on. (see pics) There have been other factory recall updates that the Escape has needed to undergo. However, the receipt doesnt have a Job 7, and instead has this language around the tire inflation system check as Job 6 and it states Tires were inspected for proper inflation as per tire industry standards, and OEM standards. New Tire Pressure Readings are: LF, RF, LR RR. However, there are no readings here, so Im not sure if this last job was ever done, or if the technicians understood my request about the alert light.Im hoping to get a call soon from San Leandro Ford Store to figure out how we can get this alert light issue resolved.

In my case, they had me there for 6 hours for 2 flat tires and this was after I spoke with the Director Rich. He had promised me 2 hours because he understood my dire situation. I had 2 flats working graveyard in a town 50 miles away from home. After 6 hours of waiting they charged me for a wheel alignment that was done completely wrong and when I went back to tell them they didn’t even care or fix it. They wanted to charge me another $120 to fix it. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!

Billy changed my perception of bringing a car for service a dealer store. I came in to get an oil change for my 2018 Fusion. Im new to the area and I walked in and wandering around looking for someone and he greeted me and asked if I need help? I been in the service industry for a long time myself so when he greeted me, I know that Billy understand customer service! However, I really just wanted an oil change because I was pressing time but he showed me the options and price difference and made a lot sense and he did not pressure me in buying it. He explained it very well and thats what I want from a service advisor who can convince me. I hate going to a dealership and talking to someone who doesnt know what their talking about to sell and then their attitude change when you wont go their plan. Billy is excellent service advisor and hes good of what he does. If I have mechanic shop I would lure him to come and work for me. :-) Thank you, Billy and hope you enjoyed that lunch meal!

He Informed that it would be to 2 hours, during that time I appreciated Matt was updating me on the status of my car. I had my pick up serviced and they were suppose to rotate tires and oil change. When I went back to pick it up I noticed that they didn’t rotate the tires but charged me for them. If I didnt noticed that they were not rotated they would’ve charged me, so be careful otherwise they would charge you for service that was not done.

I am still dissatisfied with the sound of my car. My car is running loud especially with the air conditioner on. You can hear the noise when the fan is switching. Every since my broken shroud was replaced I have had issues. The dealership has been good in trying to resolve the issue. But basically I was told this is good as the car will run and they are not hearing what I am hearing. The last young lady that helped me was attentive and did everything she said she would do. I appreciate the effort but my issue is still not resolved. I’ve been a faithful Ford customer for over 37 plus years. I think it’s time to break the relationship. Especially when your told well your car is not going to run like me it did when it was brand new. I know a car with a 130 thousand miles will not run like a brand new car but I do expect it to run smoothly and not so loud.

I have had Ford automobiles my whole life. From my Dads hand-me-down 1966 Ford Ranchero, to my first car, a 1987 Bronco II, to a 1997 Ford Explorer Sport, to my two vehicles today, a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid and my new Ford 150 pickup truck.The reason I have had so many Ford automobiles is because of the service Ford provides for its customers. Recently, my 2009 Ford Escape would not start because the Hybrid battery died. I had to have it towed to San Leandro Ford.My service advisor, Billy Severs, worked with me to get the car back running. A special battery charger had to come from Ford Corporate to recharge my hybrid battery. Billy kept me informed throughout the entire process. I especially appreciate his thoroughness, professionalism, and his many update calls.Billy, and his manager Paul, treated me with care and concern. I highly recommend San Leandro Ford to anyone. They will get your automobile repaired and back on the road for a fair price.

Needed to take my car in for some general maintenance and to fix a brake light fuse. Found the service center email, and after a little telephone tag (I kept missing the calls while I was at work) the next day, I was able to easily set up an appointment.I may have missed the option, but it would be nice to set up appointments via email, that way I dont have to worry about missing phone calls.Overall service was great though!

My Lincoln still under warranty has a noise coming from the passenger front side of the car, the noise is obvious but the technician couldn’t hear it, and this is because the car’s warranty was getting closer to its expiration (49,634 miles over 50,000 miles warranty)and will cost them a lot to replace the front shock and arm. I replaced the parts in another shop and costs me $1,300.00! The problem is they’re asking me to buy extra warranty after the 50,000 has been expired, what a shame!

The after-sales service is very good, but the quality of the car is very poor. I bought the Mustang 2.3T here in 2018. After driving it for a year, the engine broke and the engine was replaced. It didnt take long for a metal to fall from the chassis, and the car moved obviously during the first three months. This time the central control screen did not work again.

Super easy dealer to deal with. Billy in service has gone out of his way to deal with Ford Co. on my behalf in regards to some recalls and has taken great car of my vehicles.As well my last three Ford vehicle purchases have been through this dealer and I found the experience to be very positive. I took my car in to repair my shifter plate. In addition, I had them provide me with a 60,000 mile maintenance. The total bill was over $1,800.00. That’s not the worst part. It took over 4 weeks to get my car back. It’s an American made car. What took so long? I had to borrow a friend’s car to get to work.

I was rip off by San Leandro Ford Service guys!I was charged $230.00 for nothing!I took my F150 to check a rattling noise on the rear sliding door, it was working perfectly fine open and close except that rattling noise obviously from something loose.When the guy told me how much I had to pay for to check I asked why so much? - He said because it takes 2 hours to pull it apart and find out what the problem is!Until then they were going to find out if it was covered by my FORD PREMIUM INSURANCE, ( I’m sure they cud find out right away if it was covered without going through all this) but they didn’t want to help me!. I was charged $230.00 Dlls. for the “diagnostic”When I picked it up I was told I had a replace the whole window because the guide has come loose from glass housing as I mentioned to him earlier to him when I dropped the pick-up.There was need it to make a new appointment to fix it which was going to be about $1800.00 Dlls. Because the whole window needs to be replaced according to them!. I decide to find a specialist on car windows but when I drove away I try to open the sliding door as I did it many times before and it wasn’t responding it opened but it wasn’t working properly and didn’t close. Wasn’t working at all!.I returned to let them know that it wasn’t workin and they said “WE DIDNT TOUCH IT” , “We didn’t opened our inspection was visual!”They diagnosed by assumption!Never before I heard about something like this!They charged me 2 hours of labor ($230) didn’t pull it apart?— I knew that diagnostic myself without being a professional!.. So now I end up with a unresponsive rear window and charged for a job the guys didn’t perform.IS A RIP-OFFI heard about bad service at San Leandro Ford but never expect something like this! —As soon as I told them the sliding window wasn’t working anymore they said “they didn’t touch it!”. The guy daré to ask me -Why did you opened? So I ask him - Didn’t you charged me for 2 hours to examine the problem? 🤬🤬🤬They charged me for a job they didn’t do!They recommend to replace the whole window without putting a finger in my truck. I cud figured that myself!
