Hello friends of Raphaels Party Rentals. I just wanted to say that I had the pleasure of stopping in and meeting with David, at the same time getting a over look on the the way things are done. But I must say that David was a well respected gentleman and a person that knows what he is talking about. Over all thanks David for welcoming me I cant wait to hear from you regarding the application I submitted.

Raphaels is the best! I use them for all of my big events. Cris is a master with the equipment and staging. The lighting crew is fantastic. They are dependable, pristine equipment, tablecloths perfectly pressed, punctual and pleasant to work with.

This place is amazing, i worked for them today through a staffing agency, i was amazed at their party setups they are very professional and have everything you could possibly need. If i ever plan a party i will definitely contact this business.

I ordered for delivery and pickup. They did the pickup a day LATE and charged me for that extra day!! Super unprofessional and steals your money.

Shout out to David McCann from East County! He was awesome, organized, professional and timely! He already had a positive rapport with my Venue, and everything went flawless at our wedding! He was detail oriented and you could tell has been doing this for a while! Best experience with them!

If I could give zero stars for this review I would.If you are choosing NCM (new children’s museum) as your venue, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT USE RAPHAEL’S RENTALS.From beginning to end we experienced nothing but disappointment. Other than their product, there was nothing enjoyable about working with them.My fiancé and I live in the east coast, so planning a wedding in San Diego was already stressful.Emails were not answered in a timely manner and appointments were not taken seriously.I had to come to San Diego for a personal family matter (my grandmother passed away). I took advantage of being in SD to finalize our choice of linens and see a mock up of everything. My girls took time from their lunch break/personal lives and I took time away from my family for this appointment. When we arrived, they weren’t ready. It took 45 minutes for them to even start to gather the linens and chairs to set up for me to see everything, AND on top of that it was almost as if they didn’t remember the appointment. I also did not receive an apology of any sort from the manager Golan.Fast forward to our wedding day 5/19/19-We ordered marquee lights “L & P” for our backdrop. We had a vision in mind. During the set-up of our venue, I was taken aside and away from my guests to hear that the letter “L” had no lights and that apparently they didn’t have the letter “L” with marquee lights in stock anyway. They tried to suggest using black duct tape to cover up the letters so there would be NO lights at all. Luckily we had our own back up plan, but if we didn’t, everything would’ve been completely ruined. We were very disappointed to not have our initial vision come to life. I am not the type of person to be labeled as a “bridezilla” or lose my cool, but I was livid.Not only did this happen, but they took a long time to set up. They also set up the cake table last minute giving my baker, who is my Aunt, minimal time to decorate her final touches to the cake and cake table.Raphael’s is unprofessional, unreliable, and after the final payment was made they were suddenly unreachable/unavailable via email or phone. This behavior is inexcusable.I wouldn’t recommended this vendor to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

I rented a 2 x 3 propane BBQ for a church function. I asked if there was a discount as it was for a church. They gave me a 5% discount. Great. When I went to use the BBQ, only 3 of the 4 burners worked. When I returned it, I told them about the problem. They tested it and verified the problem. I asked for a partial refund. 25% of the BBQ did not work, so I felt 25% was fair. They offered 10%. I told them my reasoning behind the 25% discount. They then used the 5% discount they had already given for a church event, to bring the refund up to 15%. They agreed to refund another 10% to bring it to 25%. That was on July 1st. I still have not received this 10% refund, and I have emailed them twice with no response.

My wife and I tried and tried to get a quote for two patio heaters, one blue and white umbrella and 20 white chairs but it took them 2 days just to reach out to us. Once a representative named (Cesar?) called us we confirmed all of the items we wanted, and receive a quote we liked. Then they called us again the two days later (again) to let us know that the representative we talked to did not specify a delivery fee and that there was no one named cesar working there... Their delivery fees are simply astronomical! $175 for delivery! No thanks!

We rented speakers and a hot dog cooker for a party. Everything worked as promised. The place is closed on Sundays but they did not charge me for the extra day. I picked up and dropped off myself, which was pretty painless.

Absolutely ridiculous customer service over the phone. The guy almost made me hang up. Highly disrespected and do not recommend.

I have work at this job for several years and I have been happy and I have had several experiences.

Ive been working at Raphaels for 4 1/2 years. The quality of our products is very good and the cleaners do an excellent job of maintaining the equipment.

They got what you need, but service could be better.
