Hoffman Furniture Repair and Refinishing did a masterful repair on our leather sofa. Our $2400 leather sofa was severely damaged by the forklift during delivery. We were told to trash the sofa or the company could retrieve it. The lower frame was broken, and the stitching of the leather broken and leather stretched. Hoffmans was able to not only repair the frame, but the frame is now actually stronger than it was new. The leather was able to be repaired to almost perfect condition with some new stitching and a couple of staples (I did not want them to replace the entire leather panel.) You would never know that the sofa arrived with such severe damage.Marco Hoffman was able to have my sofa repaired within 2 weeks of my phone call. His associate that did the repair was so courteous and a real expert at what he did. This company and its owner deserve the highest accolades! They are tops!!

I was in need of a professional finisher to complete a major project I had started but wasnt able to complete due to time constraints. I delivered the project to the Hoffman shop and received the project back in excellent condition. The hardware for assembly was detailed, and errors on my part were corrected. Wont even get a chance. Called and person they simply said , Hallo, Hallo?? I said hello and asked if this was Hoffmans repair (as they did not answer the phone as if a business, but a personal phone). They hung up. I called back thinking it was perhaps a wrong number. Nope. He said if you are gonna call my business, talk and some lady was cackling in the background. Not somewhere Im gonna take all of my wood refinishing to if they cant even answer the phone like an actual business.

I took our family Antique table to Hoffman Furniture Repair to get a leg on the table repaired. The leg was a total broken mess that looked impossible to fix. Marco looked at the leg and walked me through how the repair would be completed. After doing an excellent job of securing the leg along with putting in extra support, the table was repaired. After turning the table over, Marco suggested doing a refinish on the table top. His refinishing made the table look like a million bucks.

If I could give Hoffmans more stars I would. Marcos did a marvelous refinish on my grandmothers 93-year-old tole-painted dining set. The table and chairs were growing rickety and the paint chipped and faded (four generations have used this furniture.) Marcos braced and repaired the table and chair legs. He custom matched the tole painted flowers and scrolls on the table top and refreshed all the other paint before sealing everything so it will last another 93 years. The set looks brand new. We needed a family heirloom oak dining room table and chairs.refinished. His workmanship and detail made these look like new. His shop is a little small but is centrally located in the IE. I could tell by the type of projects he was working on and the enthusiasm he expressed about his job that I had reached my furniture repair destination. I felt comfortable leaving Marco in charge of fixing the wood framing on my couchs sectional piece. Marco gave me options and prices for how he could fix it. Marco did a fantastic job of repairing the mirror on my mothers dresser. The frame was damaged and the mirror had separated from the frame making it very fragile and a risk for breakage. He repaired the frame and secured the mirror in the frame to last for many, many years. Marco also added a footing to the mirror so it would stand securely on the top of the dresser. The workmanship is beautiful! I was very happy with the quality of the work, the attention to detail, and how quickly his work was completed. Marco repaired a support rail on the bottom of my 1950s dining chair that a child had stepped on and completely broke-off on both ends. Marco needed to drill out the existing holes and rebuild both ends of the original solid rail and then reinsert into the support legs and then glue in place. Marco is very professional. He thoroughly and thoughtfully explained the repair process and set realistic expectations as to what he would be able to achieve,I retrieved the chair today. It looks like magic happened! I own a special chair that I ordered from a company in Sweden 18 years ago. One week ago it collapsed in pieces underneath me. It was a kneeling chair especially for purple with bad backs.
