Been coming here for years, around 6 cars total so far. The lifetime warranty and quality of film is what usually keeps me coming back.

Man was rude when we called asking questions about whether they take walk ins. Not very accommodating or understanding about scheduling. I would recommend looking else where when looking for tinting services.

Ive had 3 SUVs get full ceramic tint here. Estimates are always fair, manager always gave his business card and full warrenty of films and installs. Same day service was fast.

I had my windows and windshield tinted by them a week ago. The day after the sun dried my soap and water soaked dash it looked like this. It did not look like that before I had the work done. They of course deny any responsibility, opting to blame a potential manufacturer defect instead. I was aware of the potential defect and tinted the windshield as an once of prevention. I ended up spending $600 to cause a $1000 problem.UPDATE1 Aug 2019Mr Joe J. Calvey Sr. (Owner) 105 Aspen Ln SATX, I didnt say Mothers intentionally damages vehicles. I can assure you wouldnt have spent money tinting my windshield if my dash looked like that already. Again even your tech told me he used soap and water, and it wasnt just a little must. He also never mentioned anything about using a towel while we talked.While my Jeep is a 2012 it has 33,000 mile and is largely garage kept..The pics you posted of my dash are the same after photos I posted and above and sent to you previously.

I a very satisfied with the tinting services I received from Mothers Tint on Walzem. After I explained to Jim, the manager, what I was trying to accomplish with the tint, he was very helpful in explaining the different options that were available to me. Jim also provided a good demonstration with the temperature simulator. Rob, the tint technician, finished the job and then he came and spoke to me about his process and passion for doing the job right, the first time.

Jim and Rob were excellent! I got fast and friendly service for a great price on all of my windows front to back including the windshield. SHADY Business, good management that implies morals before policies always successful with repeat customers. Gilbert Ybarbo, Manager at the Walzem location quoted me a price over the phone, after the Job was done, he included his materials as if this is was okay and had the nerve to show me a note on the wall instead of mentioning this CHARGE over the phone. I spoke to other locations they do not like to practice this type of service because it implies as hidden fee’s they can understand why this will cause confusion. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS WHERE SOMEONE CARES!

Recommended by a friend...Jim and Steven got my car windows tinted same day and even showed me some of the other products to compare how “dark” the windows would look before applications. I called ahead and all my tint questions were answered promptly over the phone...after looking at the results and I can proudly say I will be returning to tint my other vehicle soon. I took my Toyota Camry there recently and am extremely happy about the way the whole job was done start to finish. The manager Troy is a true professional who explained the different grades of tints available to me and the differences, the amount of time it would take to install, and the after care of the window tint. The installer did a fantastic job on my car.I now am planning on getting my second vehicle tinted there also very soon.

Jim was very knowledgeable about the 3M tint and was able to guide me to a pleasing outcome on a Pacifica. Andy did an excellent job on the installation and I got out the door for a great price. Jim provided me EXCELLENT service. He is an honest salesman who provided me with all of the fact-based technical specifications on the tint films available in the shop and allowed me to make my own decision on which product I would like to purchase without being pushy.All Mothers locations operate on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. This means that there are no appointments available and you must be willing to drop off your car or wait in the area while they complete installation. That being said, it is a good idea to get in early or call ahead to see if there are vehicles currently in line to be serviced. Once your vehicle is up to be served, though, installations are quick and expertly done.Overall, pricing was VERY fair, all associates were absolutely professional and honest, I was in and out for a full tint job in under two hours, and I drove away with a full lifetime warranty on film and labor. Jim and his team at this Mothers location are HIGHLY recommended.

The quality and price couldnt be better. They really do a great job. And to know its warrantied makes it even better. All I would do is throw a tv in the waiting room but the conversation between the other customers made the experience even better.

Came here to get front tint stripped off due to it being to dark(last place didnt know what they were doing) Waiting area could use some freshening up, not having a TV made the wait time feel longer than it actually was. Pleased with the tint, and the tint quality. Price is good for what you get. Will be my first stop on my next vehicle.

I recently took my 2002 Hyundai Elantra into Mothers to get the windows tinted based on a sale that they were having. I talked with the owner and decided to go for a higher cost tint in order to reduce the heat pickup in the car. It has been well worth the cost and I have noticed a significant difference in the cars interior temperature when I return to my car after it sits in the sun all day. I am pleased with the workmanship and service provided and have some other work that I plan to have completed at this store. Thanks for the help.

My windshield strip is decent but there is a scratched piece with light coming through... price was reasonable... I called and Mother’s offered to fix it but I don’t want to spend another hour waiting. I don’t like spending my days off repeating things I’ve already done as I work 55+ hours a week.

Amazing product, professional work and quick too.

Had problems a few days later. Had a stereo put in. They didnt do the wiring properly. Never again. I do not recommend this place.

Took car in to get tinted and it was done at a good price and good quality. I went back a week later to get a stereo installed and it was a different price then what was quoted when I got it tinted. Not a big price different, like $20 so I paid it anyways. The quality was bad. Really bad. I dont know if they had a new stereo installer that day, or what, but they broke the harness and tried to jimmy rig it. It was all crooked, They didnt tell me and I had to bring it to someones attention before they fixed it and made it right.

Best to go somewhere else for better service

Went in mid day to see how much tinting my car would be. These guys are a scam. They put a midweek special on their webpage and advertise it on the radio and when you go in, they dont mention it and will not acknowledge it even trying to charge more. When asked about it they say they are too busy and you will have to try another day. They try to get you to bring your car in on a different day even though its only the middle of the day and they are not busy at all. Total bit and switch tactics here.

This location is very unprofessional and dishonest! First of all the employee Jim reassured me that the tint was going to be perfect but first failed to talk about a service fee! Second of all it took forever after the service was done it was horrible! White spots all over the back window and side windows as well as very differnt color tint from back and front windows! They seemed to have tinted the windows without cleaning them! When I asked if the tint could be redone he said no that they would just take off the tint even though I was already there for almost 3 hours they did not seem to care about wasting my time as several of his employees came to him to ask if they could leave. It was obvious they were playing around back in the garage and were eager to leave work! The manager was very rude and made it a point to not give me my warranty paperwork! Now all of a sudden my brake lights dont work when they were working perfectly right before I had the tint done so now I have to take my car to another shop and fix what they broke on my car despite the horrible tint job they did! I would never ever recommend this location to anyone!

I had an all in one put in my car here yesterday and Jim and his guy did great. They are Very respectful at the walzem location and willing to explain everything in detail... Im very pleased with the work they did for me.Adding a Shop fee feels like a doube dip when already paying for installation but Im still very happy with their work and would recommend them for tint AND audio system installations as ive now had both at this location.
