Im a truck driver that made a delivery to this location. They were very fast at getting everyone in and unloaded. I didnt see any bathrooms but I didnt ask either. The dock area is small but set up so that you can pull into the street and back right up to it.

Good place for restaurant to shop for ingredients. Price labels sometimes are not matched at the check out. Checkers are not polite. If I do have other options to buy, I wont go there.

It was my first time going there. I was impressed! Found what l was looking for at great price! And l just found out it is open to the public!

I love Restaurant Depot, amazingly well stocked and the staff is very knowledgeable. One request! Some of us are not as capable of handling flatbed carts nor the double deckers as your principal customers, nor are they always necessary. Would one or two smaller carts not be appropriate? Not asking for CVS style mini-shop carts nor the self-drive, but even large market size cart ... some of us ain’t as able as we used to be, and sometimes only need a case of this and a gallon of that. Thanks for consideration!

Disorganized and hardly any people checking you out at the counter so make for long lines. Some of the staff are helpful in helping you find what you need then the rest are there just to get a check. Wont be going back unless I absolutely have to.

From someone who basically lives at this store I can honestly say *George is helpful, fastidious, and VERY professional which means a lot regarding that store. He takes the time to help customers with questions, concerns and he gets the job done right! He is very patient and not abrupt. Also, they have a great selection on meat, produce, as well as frozen products. Bring a jacket because it’s cold in there!

Amazing restaurant supply warehouse! I’ve been searching for “comals” (round flat cast iron griddle) used to prepare corn or flour tortillas and haven’t had any luck until calling this place. The signage and policy indicated that sales were limited to “restaurants “ that have a state sales tax certificate. However, I was able to purchase the comals w/o this certificate. I believe the company was temporarily not requiring this somehow due to the COVID situation. Anyway the personnel are friendly and helpful. And amazing selection of foods and equipment.

Nice place, mostly built for restaurants and businesses. But would also work well for if you have a big family or big party. Vast selection, lots of meats and vegetables. Be prepared to buy in bulk. Also you can find there some nice things, such as alcohol mixers, commercial grade appliances and cookware. If you are planning to visit this place, take a jacket or hoodie with you, part of the building is refrigerated. Also when you walk in you will debate whether to get a cart, and the answer is yes. You will need a cart, most items are heavy and you will get tired real quick. This place is usually only open to members but during Covid, its open to the public.

Need to have a lane for customers with 10 items or less. Too long a wait and line is too long.

A ton of food products at good prices. If youre starting a food truck, concession stand, or small restaurant this is the place to shop. It can be a little confusing getting around and not missing an isle or section, but its all there. Recomment bringing a jacket or hoodie.

Lots of staff around to help. Not a lot of staff willing to help. Fluctuating prices and blocked aisles make shopping a bit difficult. Overall the store has a nice layout and large selection of products for all types of restaurants. Depending on the day and time, its typical to find popular items are out of stock so be smart about planning your shopping days. Very clean location and easy parking even when busy.

Restaurant depot San Antonio is awesome! It has everything you need if you have a restaurant, small business, gas station, food truck, hookah lounge and etc. prices and advertisements are very well displayed. Good clean isles 99% of the time. Helpful staff, most are bilingual. All of the management is hard-working and friendly.

On JUL 7th around noon, I was there to return a box of sample cups, which we purchased by mistake;It was black color,not white. In return desk, there were two guys and looks like due to COVID-19, they do not accept return. One guy was very polite and kept saying sorry, but the other guy, looking older than kind guy, he stared at me saying No return!!, there are everywhere, pointing a notice saying no return d/t covid-19 Hey YOU!! that is not your right not accepting return. that was because of COVID-19 and customers might have not been able to see that notice. You might as well say Im sorry but we cant accept return. It is our policy now due to pandemic YOU were so rude and reject custormer and humiliate customer. You should see this comment. You should be sorry!!!!!!!! Im giving you guys ONE STAR. there should be ZERO STAR or MINUS STAR.

Limited over night parking 2 trucks. You want to come north on Fredricksburg and turn left on Babcock, dock is on rt, pass it up to bottom of hill, make a wide rt turn, circling up the hill. For gps put 150 babcock this is the bakery across the st. They start taking frozen at 9 am. If you dont have a 9 am appointment. Dont spend the night. Any restaurants are on front side across the street. If you come in early they wont unload you, till your appt or later. And you will be blocking others with earlier appts. Tight, dont be in others way!!!

I like this store and the cashiers. The customer service is good and helpful. The one thing I Do Not like is that I came in the other day with my boyfriend to look for some chafers and when I asked the small wears manager for some assistance she ignored my question and went on to talk to my boyfriend and when he tried ignoring her she kept steady trying to talk to him. I believe its called customer service not flirting. We got the help we needed by someone else thankfully,but if someone can do something about this h** it would be nice! Thank You Restaurant Depot.

5 stars for the product range and prices and 2 stars for any type of customer service. The fork-lift drivers whiz around the aisles like maniacs. Theyre famous for producing mile-long receipts and then doing the Costco frisk at checkout. Overall though if youre in the restaurant business, you need to shop here.

Great selection, could use more cashiers

I waited in line for them to check my merchandise and they ignore me and checked out people that got ahead of me while I was just there standing. They need to supervise the lines going out. We all have businesses and we all want to get out as soon as possible

I use them regularly. The employees could be nicer, maybe smile and greet you vs acting annoyed that you are there. We are all working, whether shop for our business or an hourly employee.

Although they have a great selection of products, unfortunately its very difficult to Finally get the membership going, Ive been there three months in a row and cant seem to get a card. Our church completed the online application with everything they required, and then followed up with a call to make sure they received our information and to see if there was anything else needed. Done...you would think. Nope, when I get to the San Antonio location shop and pick up the card, we were told that we some additional items that were not on their website, so then our church financial officer drove all the way over to help get things sorted, but could not they needed other documentation, that she eventually had to go back and send over. To be fair they did let me shop that day, but I was so frustrated I was not in the mood, and only purchased two of the long list of items I was going to purchase. So fast forward a month later to today, everything they require per ANOTHER phone discussion is now sent over, I have a copy of everything, just to be on the safe side so Im now good to go. Ready to pick up my card and shop, super excited church got a new stove and 24cf freezer ready to fill it. NOT! NOW Its something else. Im going to be looking for other restaurant supply companies, or try to keep my shopping to Sams Club. So Sad.

I love restaurant depot. Their food is freat. Their prices are great. Their employees are great. They help me load my car every two weeks like clock work. Its an awesome experience. I have been shoping there over a year now. My clients even love it.After four years I have to say I still really love this store. I enjoy being able to shop online and pay for it online now to where all I have to do is pick up the groceries. Staff are always friendly and Jesse is a guru when it comes to putting my groceries in my car.

As one truck driver stated the receiving department is a REAL JOKE. Maybe the manager up front are the one who is over the hold thing should get that department in order. Seeing how its the most important part of the hold thing. With other the trucks you will just have an empty building.

Receiving department sucks! Waited 5 hours past appointment time to get unloaded. When I arrived had to wait out on street because parking lot was full of trucks waiting too. They have 3 doors and it looks as if they are only using 1 door. SMH!!!

Everything is good at great price except the safety. They are driving the forklifts like on a freeway. Not safe at all.

This place has most of what you could want or need for a restaurant. They do have problems keeping enough product stocked. Not always their fault. Sometimes it is a factory problem. They treat you like family though. That goes a long way!

I was early for my appointment, 2 trucks ahead of me. They checked me in and unloaded me after the 2 before me. And I was still gone before my appointment time. Only 4 stars because theres no where to stage really, and where you park while you wait is in the fire lane, which is the entire entrance except for the docks. Also, I recommend not coming in on Fredericksburg road then right on Babcock(which is what I did). Its a hard right and I had to use the curb and block on coming traffic on Babcock just to make the turn with out damage to my truck or the sevaral utility poles on the corner😬.

Great place for mom and pop restaurants Of course, they cant compete on pricing with stores that have large buying power. I go there when I run out of something, and I cant wait until tomorrow. I pay way less at my supplier but we buy in the tens of millions of dollars for some supplies. Their sushi shrimp for $5 is a great buy. I seem to go there for household items, sushi shrimp, steaks for parties, bottled water, ... i bought a couole of cases of choice ribeye and tenderloin. I wasnt impressed with the quality. Still, I like Restaurant Depot, 4 stars.

Made it on time for my appointment 30 mins earlier. STILL had to wait over 3 hours for them to get me unloaded for only 3 PALLETS!!! Guys dont even care and barely wanna attend the truckers.

Half stock items missing about half the time. Staff always has huge attitude about it. They act like, why dont you go elsewhere, even while theyre supposedly apologizing. So, I will, and you should do the same!

Broker changed days on me and now I come here on my new appointment for this morning and now the lumper is telling me to pay him 30.00 and he will offload me quick if not Im going to have to wait until their done offloading everyone. ...lol nice to see this receiver take care of their drivers.

The start of my first visit at Restaurant Depot started as walked in expecting to wait hours to get my membership card..from reading the reviews....it was 60 minutes from the time I got there to when I left with most of my shopping done! Crazy, I think I got the hot shot A team! But then I got home finding out that I was charged the regular price for cases of Coke on sale flyer, bummer! But when I called and talked to Christine, I found out the little lettering under the sale price said sale starts tomorrow, me bad, double bummer! But heres the great part, she said bring your receipt, Ill return it and you can buy it again and get the difference without bringing all the cases of Coke back!!! Awesome, because I sooo would have returned them and went back to SAMs club. For her awesomeness I did get my difference and stayed to shop some more, making my brother want to hate on me!!!! The staff was so nice asking if I need to find anything and Andrias Garcia even went beyond the call of duty to get 6 cases of Mexican peanuts from the top rack! I freaking got the Hot Shot A Team again! Only bad thing I can say, which is why they dont get 6 ****** oh wait Yelp only lets me give 5*****, ok on to the negative.... This place is a maze crammed full of good deals. If they sold mattresses I would have stayed over night, I could have been lost for a couple of days touching everything.
