Well I was really hoping to take my business here seeing that they have great reviews but on the first call I was told they were closed forever. Didnt even explain why or offer any advice on what to do or where to go.

I’ve called and called and left messages hoping to have someone reach back out, but it’s not happening. I’m sad because they had the best reviews and I wanted to go with them but it seems like I have to go with someone else.

Had an excellent experience all the way around! I spent many years in hardware repair and customer service, so I greatly appreciate a direct, straight to the point diagnosis. When I called, I was told based on my model, which is a 2009, that it was one of two issues. One could be repaired and the other could not. I was told the cost if it could be repaired. They schedule your appoint which tells me they respect my time and social distancing. Luckily, it was able to be repaired and the price never changed from what was quoted. I was asked to inspect the TV and it was cleaned before loading back in my car. It was well worth the cost of repair especially in this day and age of tossing away technology. Would HIGHLY recommend, they do one thing and they do it well!

While I did not have this company repair my TV, I spoke with the owner on the phone who asked for the model number of my TV. He did some research based on past repairs and stated that 8 of 10 people who experienced the same issue as me needed to have the control board replaced, a $250 fix. He stated to me that it would not be worth it to do a repair on my TV. I appreciate the transparency and honesty, a very rare trait in this world these days.

I would definitely do business with this group if I had business to do with them :) meaning, they do what’s right by the customer and actually advised it’s not worth for me to fix in with issue at hand. In other words, it’s not right we take your money in this particular situation. Best service you can give a customer is by doing what’s best for them even if it means passing on money in as it usually yields in a 10x return. Top notch, for sure give them a call - thanks gents!

Great service and very reasonable prices. Came out to house next day, diagnosed problem quickly. Unfortunately not repairable but came back next day to help me install new television. John was a pleasure to work with and very reliable. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.

I highly recommend TV Repair Service. The owner Johnny is very knowledgeable and honest. I had issues with two TVs. One of them he explained to me why it wasn’t worth paying the cost to repair it and the other one needed a part which he got for us and now my TV is working great. I called in the AM to speak to someone about fixing a TV that needs to repaired, this was during business hours. I get no answer but I do I receive a text a while later saying ill call you back. I never got a call back, this place must be amazing because they clearly do not need new business. I obviously went with a TV repair shop that actually answered the phone and took care of me.

I highly recommend TV Repair. I brought in the TV and the owner first checked the remote. He figured out that we needed different batteries and generously didn’t charge us. Yes, I feel stupid about batteries but at least my stupidity didn’t cost me anything. I will definitely use them again.

Called TV Repair Service after a lightning strike zapped our TV. They offered a free estimate and responded in just a few days with an estimate after I dropped it off. (They offer home service, too, which may be better if you have a large TV...) Johnny, the owner, was friendly, upfront, and honest, as were his employees! My TV was badly damaged and it was more cost effective to replace it than repair it, but these guys were great throughout. Quick response on the phone, returned calls quickly, and even recycled my damaged TV for me. I will certainly use them in the future if the need arises!

Our Sony TV screen was half black and half white - not good!! We called the authorized Sony TV repair store in San Antonio and only got voice mail. After half a dozen calls to other TV repair stores, everyone said bring in your TV for an estimate and repair. Then, we found Johnny, thank goodness, and he actually made a house call the very same day to examine our 65 Sony TV. Johnny ran diagnostics and found physical damage to the screen in several places in just a matter of a few minutes. Johnny showed us the physical damage. I called TV Repair Service and they 1st messaged me that they will call me back. Shortly later they did. I called to ask about technical issues involving my TV and the phone service was excellent. Without question, all my issues was resolved where I called other repair services and they refused to offer any assistance, even if I brought them my TV. Im now enjoying my TV thanks to TV Repair service.

I am very impressed with Johnny and his business. I had a lightning strike that zapped a number of appliances in my house, including a 60” Samsung Smart TV. Insurance bought me a new TV, but I thought I’d see if the old one could be fixed. Johnny was able to diagnose and fix the problem for a fraction of what a new TV costs. Took my 65 Samsung Curve screen that i paid a little over 2k for into this place because of the reviews I read. Johnny was nice and friendly. He called the next day and said that my TV could not be repaired because it would be too expensive to fix. I picked it up and took it to the Samsung repair shop in town and they fixed it for under 300.00. Glad I decided to get another opinion before trashing the TV.

I called and informed them of my TV model and issue. The technician informed me that it was likely not worth repairing since it was a 5 year old 65 Samsung Plasma, parts were very expensive, plasma TVs are no longer being manufactured, and that the money may be better spent on a newer TV as they have come a long way in technology. I appreciated the advice as opposed to simply signing me up for a repair service and taking the money.

Amazing communication and service. Took my Sony flat screen in because it was DOA. It just happened to be the energy saving switch was activated. I got a fair price. Communication was awesome . The service was very timely and exactly as I was told from drop off to the parts coming in to when it was ready . No call back

I went in looking for someone to help rescue and old tape (with a lot of sentimental value) from a VCR. Although he does not normally service VCRs the owner helped me remove the stuck tape without damage and did not charge me. Nice to know there are good, professional people like this in business.

Any tv repair shop can repair your machine. But, not every tv repair shop can be honest and try to help you at a reasonable cost. TV Repair Service does all of these. When I brought my TV to Johnny, he promised a free estimate and said he would tell me if it was worth fixing because of the repairs. He did just that.
