DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. We thought we need a bigger firm when our company expanded. Big mistake. Unprepared for every meeting. I dont think they even looked at our books. In our 2nd meeting Howard started telling me what our companys annual revenue was, when it was in fact only 1 months revenue. Perhaps not surprising in December we were told we owed an amount equivalent to our annual salary. The team was very nonchalant about this. Very disappointed, very frustrating experience.

I used Howard Klein for a short time for my business. I have to say he has made me look at accountants like I do attorneys now. Absolutely the worst! I agree with the other reviewer. We were told one cost and then we get hit up with an extra several thousand dollar bill! It blew all of us away the arrogance of this group. I never should have paid it! It completely came out of the blue this extra charge. They gave us some run around that it was for extra work they had to do for us which is funny because when we signed his contract he made it very clear our agreement was a monthly fee and he would be on retainer for us. I confronted Howard about this charge and he said he would reduce it if I would put the reduced amount on my cc THAT day. Sounds like he had to get money fast for something that day. I dont know! Who does that? Unbelievable to me and to most business people Ive told this story to.Heed my advise!STAY AWAY FROM THIS ACCOUNTING GROUP IF YOUD LIKE TO SURVIVE BECAUSE THIS COMPANY WILL DRAIN YOU! CANNOT BE TRUSTED AT ALL!

In my experience only, I would not recommend ADKF for either small business or personal tax returns. They, and like most CPAs, talk a good game and have nice offerings. We were assured that we wouldn’t be charged for simple tasks or communications that took less than 15 minutes of their time. Throughout our entire time with them, they were not clear or set any expectations. They automatically assume that you know what to do, and should provide them with the information. All the while, you go as you learn, and end up paying extra for it. As so much, we paid $1,000 extra for projections that were worthless to us. After both our business and personal information was compromised by their office, we’ve had enough. I had emailed the partner, asking him for a return of the charges and all work papers. He did not want to return any monies and would only speak to our new CPA’s as a gesture of goodwill. Of course, this is not acceptable, and there is no point in trying to get any further resolution with this firm. Overall, to say the least, our experience with this firm was not ideal. Therefore, I would not recommend them for either small business or personal tax returns.
