During the intensely cold weather earlier this year, we were without water and plumbers were busier than ever. Most companies were quoting me 2-4 weeks out for an initial visit. I called Alamo Plumbing and despite a busy schedule, they were able to squeeze us in the next day! The plumber showed up on time, quickly identified the issue, and repaired the pipe on the spot. In no time we had water again! At a time when plumbing service was so in demand, I was pleasantly surprised that they maintained their reasonable rate instead of jacking up pricing as they could have done. Who on earth was prepared for snow in south Texas in the middle February?! I’m so glad I was able to find these guys after one of my pipes burst with the freeze! While they were slammed with a ton of work, they were able to put me on their schedule same-day and worked quickly and diligently to restore water to rest of my house. My Master shower drain and bathroom sink were clogged and my Garbage Disposal was not working. I was referred to Alamo Plumbing Solutions. Great service. Had two water heaters replaced on a scorching hot day, above the second floor in the attic. So they were contracted to my house from the home warranty company to fix my water heater. So of course the warranty company tells us not to worry everything is covered, well Santiago goes out and tells me theyll get back to me because they have to wait for a authorization code I was so mad at him that I went off on him. So I called the warranty company again to tell them what he was telling me. They tell you what you want to hear of course thats the title of a customer service rep. So when Alamo Plumbing Solutions comes out they call the back line and actually speak to the authorizations department. At first I didnt believe that the home warranty company would try to make me pay anything out of pocket. I Also didnt think they would make me have to wait 2-3 days for them to ship to shop the water heater. Well I went to Alamo Plumbing office to tell them look the customer service rep said I didnt have to wait for my water heater. Santiago was at the office at the time when I showed up. He showed me the confirmation of the water heater being ship to shop and then I was furious I called the back line to the home warranty company which the home warranty company is sneaky and doesnt want the homeowner to call. I felt bad for the plumber because after doing my research I found out that when you call the home warranty company your call is answered by a rep in another state possibly even an other country. He tried to even give me one of is water heaters that he stocked in his office. Of course the warranty company didnt want that either. I am writing this review to thank Alamo Plumbing Solutions for trying their best to help me and Im sure other home warranty customers. Also be aware they wont pay your plumbing contractor nights or weekends so dont think about them sending anyone after hours or on a weekend. If it sounds too good then maybe it is!!

These guys went above and beyond. I wasn’t available to help with home’s plumbing issue so I left it up to my wife to deal with. After getting the run around with other companies, she made one last call. She went with Alamo Plumbing Solutions & made an excellent choice. It wasn’t as simple as installing a pressure reduction valve & replacing a hot water heater. There was much more involved. Trying to save a little money, she was having to remove a faulty unit, return to where it was purchased & get a replacement that the manufacturer made good on. After calling several companies & not one offered any solution other than buy one of their heaters. Most of the companies would not give her a quote over the phone. This would mean time she couldn’t afford having to meet with tech, after tech. The heater could “go”at any moment because of the high pressure & current leak. No time to sit through sales pitch...just need a quote.She made one last call & it was the best one.Santiago listened, discussed a solution (not SOLUTIONS), OFFERED to help make the exchange of faulty unit, set up for his crew to be at the house the next day, set up financing & most of all left her feeling respected & not “let me talk to your husband” mentality. In this world where you feel sometimes technicians are always “out to scam you”, that wasn’t the case here. We have been having issues with our shower leaking. He did a real excellent clean job. Very professional, and knowledgeable. He completed the job in under 2 hours. We had several plumbers come and work on our valve and it would leak again in a few months. He found the source of the leak and replaced the broken pipe.

Started off good but dealing with warranty and insurance they became a disappointment. Even after explained whatever warranty didnt cover I would pay at day of service they still failed to even call to discuss. At day of appointment they were a no show and when called thats when they wanted to discuss payment on a Saturday. Even when told they can bill insurance who is a major major company they refused and I still explained I could pay at time of service. Ultimately not very professional dealing with concerns before day of service to give customer a chance to find other services especially when dealing with a water crisis. Things are time sensitive.

We are in the process of selling our home and the buyers home inspector found a few minor plumbing issues that needed to be addressed. We called and within 24 hours everything was fixed to meet code. The team worked very fast and were polite throughout the entire process. They ensured they met every need of the inspector. The price knocked it out of the park compared to some of these major plumbing companies where you are just paying for the name. So if you want your work done right and without paying an arm and a leg...this is definitely the company to call.

We hired Alamo plumbing to come out to look into a leak after reading all the great reviews and unfortunately our experience was anything but that. We were messed around - they were late for two appointments and another two appointments were cancelled, one of those without even so much as a phone call to let us know. We called and called and they would never return our calls, even after going into their office to ask for a refund we have been unable to get any response on the poor customer service we received. We never got a proper diagnosis of the issue and basically we waited nearly 3 weeks and paid $95 dollars for someone to come and dig a hole and leave a mess in our front yard. In the end, we hired a different company to come out and look at the issue and it was fixed that same day.

After waiting ALL day for another plumbing company to come out to unclogg my one and only commode, I gave up on them and called Alamo Plumbing. I was told they were really busy, but they would work me in. To my surprise, they had my plumber to me within the hour. After 30 minutes my commode was flushing. The plumber even went as far as running a video camera through all my lines to make sure I didnt have any other problems. He did this for FREE. Ill never use another plumbing company again

If you want a business that schedules an appointment then doesnt show, you have the right people. I scheduled a hydrostatic test, confirmed it twice b/c it was the last day of a house buying option period. The day of the appointment their plumber never showed. I called no less than 15 times and never heard back from them. It wasnt intil the next day when I called that the girl said, oh we lost power and couldnt unlock our business b/c we were locked out. We couldnt access our computers or cell phones either. You be the judge as the whether or not thats a valid/believable excuse. Will never do business with them again
