I have been seeing Dr. Geoffrey Gonzales for almost 6 years now and have had a lot of ups and downs that he has helped me through. I am very appreciative of all their hard work. I recently needed to go on short term disability and Laura Gonzalez helped me out with my paperwork. She was very amazing and had my paperwork done in a timely fashion.

Laura M. Gonzalez is a wonderful physicists that listen to what I have to say and built a custom treatment plan for me. Not like others that nod there head and give you the standard drug regiment that fits the issue. I felt my voice was heard and with Dr. Gonzalezs expertise has helped me achieve a better state. The office staff is amazing! They got me all the information I need and keep me up to date on what going on with my prescriptions and handled all issues with the pharmacy not having them or changes same day. I have delt with many offices and Drs with this by far being the best experience. Would recommend if you are looking for a 5 start treatment.

Mr Gonzalez definitely puts the care in to make you feel at ease and that he is there to listen and help. I have been going a few years now and maybe a issue or 2 with front office but nothing to make me want to stop going. They truly are are great group of staff and very kind and empathetic. I thank them for all the help they provide me monthly and I highly recommend him to anyone that feel they need that type of help

I cant say enough nice things about UHBC ❤️The ladies running the front desk are very nice, quick, and professional. There is never a long wait when you call in either.My provider, Teresa Harper, is amazing. She is empathic, extremely thorough, and kind. I feel she genuinely is interested in my well-being and committed to helping me achieve an improved quality of life.I feel so fortunate to have found Teresa Harper and UHBC. If you have been trying to convince yourself to get some help, I urge you to get in touch with UHBC.

Mark Evans is amazing, he really understands and helps rather then just agrees with you...he lets you talk and he really listens to your concerns. He doesnt treat you like a patient but an actual person which comforts me in my situation. Thank you

I have been seeing doctor Gonzalez for almost a year. I enjoy my service I receive from Dr. Gonzalez, however his staff has been very unhelpful on several occasions. I have had several problems with getting my prescriptions set into my mail order provider. The staff comes across very unhelpful and as If they inconvenienced. Which is a serious issue when you are dealing with someone mental health. A show of concern and customer service go along way. It disappointing when you have to jump through hoops to get your prescription which was prescribed to you by your doctor.

I’ve been with them for coming up to two years.And I was referred to this office by my primary doctor. And I truly appreciate them.They have always been professional and have such nice staff. Definitely feel I am well taken care of. They respond fast and I love how they send the reminders of my appointments.It’s always so smooth. Even during covid. The process has still been smooth. And they even referred me to a great counselor too. They certainly gained my trust from the get go and give me hope.

The staff here are fabulous! I personally heard another patient yelling and even curse at them. They were professional the entire time. Not a job I would want - if you are late it’s not their fault you are not going to be seen. The policy is posted right there in the wall.They have always been very kind and helpful to me. Love my provider Monique Gonzalez. She listens to me and I am certainly doing much better. Support staff always make me laugh. And they were super helpful with getting me set up with telemed services - I’m an idiot on the computer and they walked me through step by step.

A year ago I went into an extremely difficult time in my life and needed to see a psychiatrist as soon as possible. I called several recommended psychiatrists that my insurance company had recommended and all of them were booking months out. I thankfully came across this company and I got an appointment within a couple of weeks. It has been a very smooth process working with them, scheduling appointments and they made things even simpler recently with virtual appointments due to the Coronavirus situation going on. I definitely recommend.

Completely unprofessional. They change people at every medical appointment. They do not listen to the patients concerns. They have discriminatory staff. At least I was discriminated against by NISHA MATHEW, PMHNP. I paid for a service that was not received. Dont waste your time and money. These people have no commitment to the mental health of the patient. Over a year of treatment and I have gotten worse in all my symptoms and diseases.

The team has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING to work with!!! From the checkin and scheduling staff, to the practitioners, to the office manager - by far one of the best and easiest experiences I have ever had with a doctors office of any kind. Throw in COVID, and they have adjusted seamlessly!!The staff is EXTREMELY responsive, knowledgable, empathetic, and their competence has been instrumental in my personal success. I would highly recommend them to family, friends, or anyone needing assistance within their realm of specialties.

Management, front desk except steven who always is very professional and anyone answering the phone , are extremely rude . I do not recommend this place.

Ive been going to UBH for years, Im always treated with smiles, laughter and kindness. From the happy and polite front desk nurses to the psychologists and psychiatrists, everyone there really does their best for the patients and make coming and going a pleasant experience!

The worst customer/patient service Ive experienced in a health care setting. I never was able to get someone actually answering the phone; my messages were never returned; and the front office staff seems to be trained in how to alienate patients.The facility is cold, impersonal, and is designed like a fortress to keep the bothersome patients out and the employees safely ensconced and out of sight of anyone waiting for an appointment. The waiting room (and I think its actually quite a stretch to call it a room) is the epitome of dreariness. If the physical environment or atmosphere of the facility is usally a reflection of the staff, then I can only say bravo, since in this case they seem to match perfectly.I cant comment on the quality of the medical providers because I was never actually able to see one. Well done to the gatekeepers/guards.I can only presume that the clinic is resting on the laurels of the hospital theyre affiliated with (Baptist San Antonio). Avoid it if you can. And if anybody on the medical staff wishes to contact me about my experience (in your facility), please do. It will be the first time someone at your facility with any sort of authority has actually bothered to contact me.

If zero stars was a choice I would pick it. I should have believed all of the horrible reviews. PA Evans was good but the front staff are horrible! They are very rude and unprofessional. I also agree that getting in for an appointment is a nightmare as well as getting anyone to return your call. When you are dealing in mental health or any healthcare for that matter, telling someone having severe medication side effects that no medical professionals will call them back and that you have to make an appointment! Unbelievable and totally unacceptable.

I saw the psychiatrist Mary Lutz while I was at the adult psychiatric unit at the Baptist Hospital in San Antonio. She was very caring and helpful. She really helped me get better way I was in the hospital. She really listened to me and took the time to answer any questions I had.

Ive been a patient of UBHC for some time, I appreciate the staff there and how Im treated every time I go, with courtesy, professionalism and great attitudes. Thank you to the staff and doctors on board.

The mother of my kids see geoffrey gonzalez and he has done wonders she loves it their front dest man steven is always nice to her. Strict rules but rightfully so.

The Therapist were great but the customer service is bad. The gentlemen who sits at the front needs to find a different type of field. He is cold and insensitive to the Mentally Ill. They should be reported. A patient who is diagnosed as Bipolar misses appointments and instead of showing concern, they discharge this person from their services without medication and without a referral. The gentlemen at the front gets to make these decisions. HORRIBLE PLACE. I work with a mentally ill population and I will let all know!!!!!

I have memory issues, and they know this, and today when I called to see when my next appointment was they told me that I have to find a new doctor because I missed my appointment!Way to go! It is a good thing I am not in need of help because I have issues with depression and stuff... oh wait...thanks for helping me in a time of dire need! NOT!It will be on your conscious if anything happens

My wife was a patient here she has severe mental health conditions and they discharged her due to 3 no shows as you know someone with a severe mental health condition is it very hard to show up consistently due to these conditions so we had a very hard time getting her in with another facility somewhere as she was out of meds and hard a very tough time. Go somewhere else they will not support you or your families conditions they only care about the loss of money they loses on the appointments when you dont show up.

Providers are wonderful, the front desk person, not so much. We can hear you and all your negative comments about patients and how rude you are to them while we are sitting in the waiting room. And I dont need to hear all about your family problems either, thanks!

The hostile male behind the counter needs to be flogged. Ive never been spoken to or treated so rudely by any healthcare related clerical person in my life. He is horrible both on the phone and in person and needed to be fired LONG AGO. He needs to find work far away from all human contact. Dr. Cawthorne was the only reason I tolerated him. She was wonderful... but he tells me shes long gone and they dont plan on hiring another doctor in the foreseeable future!

I have had nothing but good experiences while seeing Geoffrey Gonzalez. He listens to all my concerns and answers all my questions. The staff is generally very friendly but yes, they do have a strict policy on missing appointments. Make your appointments a priority and it shouldnt be an issue.

Trying to make an appointment is impossible! Despite their guarantee that they will call to make an appointment for you within a week, they actually take months. It leads me to suspect there are several misleading things on their site. If I could give it negative stars then I would, their policies do more harm than good to someone who is mentally suffering.
