Used to go to the one on Perrin Beitel because its loser to my home. But no hot water and no AC brought me to this one. So much BIGGER, cooler & cleaner! And HOT water will keep me coming back!!

Every so often a person will require a LARGE washing machine and a LARGE dryer for that huge stack of laundry you want to complete quickly, or that king size bedspread, etc. The Lone Star Laundry offers a selection of machine sizes for your laundry needs.The hard working attendants during the daytime hours keep the laundry area clean and tidy. They are available to open a restroom for customer needs. However, this is a 24 hour laundromat. You are on your own after the attendants leave. That means a progressively untidy area, no access to restroom, and no help with the X- CHANGER, labeled the TOTALLY AUTOMATED STORE!If an attendant is not there, you are at the mercy of this evil stepchild of AI. It WILL NOT: read balance on your existing laundry card and it WILL NOT add monies to your already existing card. Each time I have tried to add money it refuses to recognize the already purchased existing card! I have watched multitudes of customers come and go to this evil step child of AI, each thwarted in their attempts to add money to an existing laundry card. My solution is to purchase another laundry card if I ever need additional machine time. Each card costs .39 cents. I have 5 cards in my pocket as I write this. Each card has one to two dollars on it. Not enough to accomplish even a small load of wash. I would add here that the laundry has 24 hour video surveillance. I am quite sure the owners can see the problem customers have with the evil AI stepchild. I am also quite sure this difficulty leads to additional revenue for them. Thus, for the owners, there is no urgent reason to EVER address this ongoing problem for the customers.The price for a washing machine with a nine normal wash load capacity is $8.15. The smallest washing machine with a two normal wash load capacity is $1.99. The small dryers cost .25 cents for 8 minutes. The large dryers cost .60 cents for 8 minutes. You can add more time as you assess how well your laundry is drying.Some of the washing machines do not rinse effectively. I usually plan on 2 total wash cycles for whatever I am washing. At $8.15 per load it takes $16.30 to fully wash and rinse my large items!I am sure anyone would agree that $16.30 to get a large load suitably clean is very costly and NOT A GOOD VALUE!!!I cannot recommend the laundry due to cost for services received.

Card did not work and lost 20.00 first time here other people had same experience I did with a machine and card also. No one was there to help. Had to use more money to wash want a refund

I have not been to a laundromat in a while! Upon arrival they were cleaning up the place. I asked a woman for help and she was very helpful and friendly. Showed me how to get a card and the washer and dryer were simple to use with ez to read instructions on them! I didnt even think to bring detergent but got some there! The dryers worked great! I only ran 1 load in the washer but all together I was in and out in about 1 hour. It was a great experience. 👍

I felt this information was helpful. The machines only take preloaded cards and the cards are non-reloaded after 1 use. It’s very dirty. Looks like no one has bothered to even attempt to sweep or mop in a long time. There are also a number of machines that are broken.

Use to love this place but its become trashy. There hasnt even been sodas or snacks in the vending machine for months. People even sleep on the inside benches. Very disappointing.

This is the best laundromat around town. My dryer broke so Ive only had to dry here which is only 60 cents for 8 minutes. And the dryers are great so it usually only takes about 20-25 minutes to dry a load. Always super clean and there is usually someone on duty. I have never had to wait for a machine and it is a safe location in a busy area. Theres comfy seats and a Bahama Bucks next door. Highly recommended.

Plenty of machines.kind of clean.HOWEVER, the detergent vending machine was EMPTY. You only get to know that AFTER you spend $10 minimum on your card and try it. Too bad.Oh, and the bathroom door is broken. Just go out back, i guess.

Its nice but you gotta watch your things with both eyes had 2 dryers of my clothes stolen.

They have a sign that says free WiFi but they do not have that. I also had to fight with the machine to take the card that I had just purchased. Others were telling me to add more money. When you just purchase a card for $20 you expect to be able to get more than one wash.

Dirty dirty dirty. And now they have a creepy security guard that makes you feel so uncomfortable. Im done going here. And I have been coming to this place since it opened.

Y’know - I’m pretty disappointed that such an upscale Laundry could be this disgusting all the time - I want to come here but it’s so filthy every time ... and with the Covid dilemma, it’s just not worth it

This place if very essential to the community for providing a safe well lite area with large tables and plenty of washer and dryers to choose from . On busy days ,like most other places, it can get messy quickly but other then that it’s a great place to get your chores out of the way

HOW DO I GET A CHECK REFUND IF NO ONE IS HERE???? I PUT $45 WORTH, WHICH WAS $44.61 AND THE CARD CANT BE READ? IVE TRIED AND TRIED, SOME NICE LADY WAS TRYING TO HELP ME EVEN THOUGH SHE DOESNT WORK HERE...I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK PLEASE.

Cards never work and you won’t get your money back. If the service is not reliable why even try, Go Somewhere else

Awesome ppl, clean environment, 24 hrs, great place...Could be a little cheaper which is the only reason i go to the competitor laundry mat otherwise I would only use Lonestar laundry mat.

Having to do Laundry is one thing, but the facility made circumstances alot easier.

The laundromat is very nice but it’s really dirty. There’s no one watching the place. Someone need to work here and keep the place clean. I saw a security come in for 10 seconds took a picture and left. shaking my head who ever hired him should fired him since he’s obviously not doing his job

Being that the pandemic is on... This laundry has made and clearly posted how the way business will be conducted and adjusted is to be in order to follow distance laws. Its has since August posted that anyone doing laundry to refrain from bringing several people with them cause it then makes social distance an issue. I went in today with intentions to do laundry but it was chaotic. Mess everywhere. Couple adult females with groups of minors in tow...all of which were huddling in the middle of the rows of machines getting in the way. Customers took to removing the signage from machines in order to remove any safe distance between people. I walked out. I wish they had staff there to assure these things.

Water everywhere and always dirty. Dogs running in and out.

Large with modern machines. Floors are filthy ! They use their own credit card system that you have to load the card to use it. Not always convenient. My card worked sometimes but not everytime and if you’re not a regular you could end up with money on your card and only able to use it here. Theirs 4 big screen TVs on different channels and music going on at the same time. Yeah, noisy !

Super dirty, restroom door handle broken and just twists around. Machine missing its window, multiple machine out of order.

The woman on duty is cleaning. Machines are working. Suds are sudsing. Good parking. Well lit up. Very clean. Very convenient money cards that can be bought via credit card or cash for the people that dont know how to use it. Cards are reusable. Plenty of machines. Only downside.....The restroom. Why only build one restroom. This business has plenty of people at any given time. BUILD ANOTHER RESTROOM and itll be a 5 star spot. A Very modern laundromat done right. Tired of seeing the old laundry places that still use quarters. This is almost 2020. We need more laundry mats like this. On a side note TINT the windows on the side where the handicap parking is. No one sits there due to it being so hot in that spot.

Always clean, machines are well maintained. Cant give it 5 starts because their card machine is rigged so that its almost impossible to add to your existing card. Never use up a card completely.

Impressive 👍Beware..... Read the cost of each machine. Fairly new building. Staff is very helpful. I like the fact that I can see 3/4 of the parking lot.

Got here about 730-ish. It was hot & stuffy. Radio & TV volume were inaudible. Everything was horrendous. Trash cans were over-flowing & there was trash was all over the floor. All the seats & baskets were dirty. Signs posted read tht the attendant comes in at 1130 which is late & terribly unfortunate. The time attendant should be there is 5 or 6 am & it should be a split shift. I live close-by. I need a job. I can get this place spic & span before all the hustle & bustle of a Saturday morning even starts.

I love doing laundry hear i get to hear great 80s music or catch up on current events and news on the tvs. The temperature is always nice and cool not hot like other laundromats. I really just wish they would bring back a night attendant because restrooms are kept locked and the facility is a mess at night due to the laziness of customers who apparently cant find one of the many trash cans to throw their trash and dryer sheets in.

Needs a person that can explain n help customers late night. Very frustrating experience

Very easy and clean! Covid has me living nocturnal hours, and having access to a 24/7 laundromat is such a blessing! Plenty of space for social distancing and the pricing for the wash is relatively inexpensive.

I am from San Antonio. They do not charge for bags for your groceries.

When I go its always clean. Just make sure to use a debit card or dollar bills because the it distributes a debit card to use all the machines. Also, the driers work excellent.

Tonight 3/12/21 there were kids jumping on the counters whose family wer NOT wearing masks. There isnt any attendants who are working shifts to make sure that everything runs smoothly and to enforce the Covid rules. When I call the number listed online to this facility, it goes to someones cell phone and they say theyre not affiliated with Lone Star laundry. So yea, no help there.

Supposedly closed for no water issues... next door has water... but its whatever.

The lady that works here, today is July the 6th and its 4:45pm, so whoever this lady was, decided to bring her own portable radio not wearing any headphones and with the volume up so everyone inside could hear what she likes, we couldnt even have conversations or listen to the news because this lady wanted to listen to her music, thats not considered to the costumers, so we had to try to guess what was happening on the news because we couldnt hear anything because of her, please get associates that care about the work environment.

My first time at this location. There was no attendant available, floor was wet due to washer leak. I have 2 kids and bathroom was not available for them to use. That was a HUGE INCONVENIENCE. I very disappointed.

Extremely rude attendant. This was my first time in. The machines take cards and you can load them with a debit/credit card or cash. I hadnt used it before, obviously. I am trying to figure out how to swipe, and suddenly this extremely rude woman is in my face. She bellows at me, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Like I was pounding on the thing with a hammer. I was so shocked at first, I didnt even know how to answer. Then I managed to get out that I was trying to pay. Well, youre doing it wrong! No kidding. Get out of my face and Ill figure it out. Or ask me nicely if I need help. My husband came over at that point because someone is yelling at his wife. They go back and forth for a moment, and he tells her to move away. She says shell move, but I will never get the card loaded. By that time, the card is loaded. But she wanted to show how smart she was for knowing how to work this simple machine, and wanted the whole place to know how dumb I was for needing 30 seconds to figure it out. Our clothes are washing, but I wont be back after tonight. Nasty, rude employees. Avoid!

Large and hefty, entertaining with TVs and music but floors were dirty and trash on the floor. Could be cleaned and maintained. Card reader is great at taking your money but can not recognize the card if you need to reload your card. I had to buy another card because I couldn’t refill my card. I’m half and half about this place. In love and heartbroken by this place. Five stars definitely IF card reader worked.

Very clean if and when the staff is there not so much if they arent there. I love that this place is open 24 hrs thats really convenient for people like me that cant make it to the normal hours of other laundry mats. One thing I wish they would change is that they lowered the $10 minimum amount to load money on to your laundry card when youre using a debit card.

I like this place but , today july 13 - I was informed by the lady on duty that the restrooms arent for customers anymore ..I feel that is wrong and inconsiderate because some of us come from across town and dont live near by ...So the main owner needs to understand or hes going to loose people, I wont be coming back ...Ill go somewhere else from now on

First time there today and I didnt like it at all. Wahers were too expensive, they charge you just to buy their card for the machines, card reader wasnt working properly. Never going back there again. Ill go to the ghetto coin operated laundromat that doesnt have homeless people living behind it.

The place had a pretty clean appearance but didnt smell pleasant. I also did not like the fact of purchasing a card to run the machines, Im not local to the area so theres a balance left on the card.

Its 9/16/20 5:15pm i got here earlier Where is the workers. The place is a mess the side door is locked nobody not gonna steal your washer. All the washer are not available theyre clothes in the washer been there for a very long while.

Its a nice clean place to do your laundry. Ive been here many times with no problems, until now. I was informed the prices jumped a dollar more not only that the hotter the temperature they add 10 cents more to the price. To top it off they card readers to perchance is difficult to read the card.

Nice place. Awesome that it’s 24 hours. What sucks is u can’t be broke and come wash a $3 load because u HAVE to get a card from here and the minimum amount to load is $10. I just need to wash a load. And u can use change either.

Loved it until the price went up. I was coming every week cause its open 24 hr and the price was OUTSTANDING!!! NOW PRICE IS WAY TOO MUCH!! Where I live its $1.25 and the one across the street from la fiesta is $1.50. I will still come only cause its 24 hr but for emergencies only. Just disappointed, very disappointed on the price jump. GOT TO HAVE SOME ONE AT NIGHT, ITS ALWAYS DIRTY!!

I don’t know what happened to this place but it’s disgusting now. It looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in two or three days at the very least and half machines are not working. Not to mention the soap dispensers are empty

Worst place ever. They MAKE you get a laundry card that doesn’t even work when you swipe it. I tried 20 times or more to make it work but nothing until it finally did. Super overpriced as well and they charge you to get a new card. Ridiculous i rathe lose a few dollars than spend more time here.

The reason for 4-stars is that it can get pretty crowded in there. Besides that, as others have mentioned its a new place with new machines. They have some large capacity machines and plenty of different size ones. Overall a good place to if you live close by.

I like this laundromats convenience.However, I do not like that you must use a credit card to buy a laundry card to run the machines, why not just be able to swipe the credit card directly into the machine? The laundry cards are very unclear as to which end to stick into the slot. Also, the laundry cards dont store any left over balances for your next trip there. You eventually get ripped off for alot of money.

Really clean and affordable. I like that it is well lit and has TVs to avoid being bored. You will need to load a prepaid laundry card so no coin-op washers or dryers and the free WiFi doesnt work

Only complaint is that it is card operated as opposed to coin. Other than that, nice place with good machines.

I use this laundry place. The workers are cool, especially the skinny girl she is always quick to help you with whatever. Place is clean and free wifi. No complaints from me.

I have been coming to this laundromat for month since moving into my new apartment. This place is always sparkling clean with 1-2 attendents there to help. But today, I came in at my usual time which is around 11:30 Sunday morning. I was shocked! The place was filthy. The floors werent swept, counters werent wiped off, and customers were struggling to use the x-changer machine but the attendent wasnt out on the floor to help. Now, this woman was not the regular attendents who are normally here. Today is 7/14. I dont know who this girl was but this was not a normal good experience. I hope this is not going to become a trend.

Very nice place inside and out. Large cheap machines for washing and drying. Very busy place. Went here in the afternoon on a Monday. Reason for 3 stars, a arguement broke out between 5 guys and the attendant on duty disappeared. Felt very uncomfortable during and after that. I may come back to this location to do large comforters, but will only come back when my husband can come also.

Lots of washers and dryers. Open 24 hours. Went about 1am and the place was dirty and a homeless man was sleeping inside on the bench. They need an attendant working all shifts to tidy up and keep the rift raft out.

Place no good came here for the first time would give it no stars takes your money and washers still don’t work bad customer service if you have money to spend then this is the place for you. Spent about $50 for 4 loads, not worth your money or time. Go somewhere else!!!

They have very few large washing machines and a handful of dryers. Great for those doing small loads. Dryers take a lot of $ to dry if using the large capacity. $0.69 for 5 or 8 min. Vs. The small ones $0.25 for 5 min. Its very clean. Washing machines was clothes extremely well. Probably because they are all new. There is staff on hand to assist they are polite. They have a was and gold service of you can add or that. Customers are crazy there though. People take your washing machines even if your clothes are in front of machine on the floor. Push ppl outta the way. Its mad when it is busy there. There are a hand full of laundry carts and they WONT go out the door so you have to drag all laundry inside. Difficult for disabled folks. Bending machine takes your laundry card thats coolChoices are limited tho. All in all 4 stars because of ease of location, staff, cleanliness, and machines that work well. Once they get more high capacity machines and carts and keep vending machines full a full 5 stars.

Prices went up significantly since opening. Its really not worth it anymore; will do in a pinch but thats the only reason Id come back. Plus pre-paid cards have a terrible life span so dont load to much on them.

Very clean facility. Attendants on duty. Multiple options for washing laundry in terms of machines for various load sizes. Cards only 39 cents. Dryers take 3 loads at a time, 25 cents to dry for each 8 minutes increment. I used a dollar per dryer and only needed the use of 2 dryers.
