Sheri made the start of my experience with a matchmaker service very easy. She worked with me to understand my responsibilities and that of the company. She was willing to work with my schedule and stayed late to help and checks in with me to ensure everything is progressing well. As a new client I could not have asked for a better introduction. I was fed-up with online sites and apps, so I decided to hire a professional service. On my first match a met a wonderful woman who may be the one. My recommendation to all you looking for something real is to pay attention to this service and meet someone to make a true connection with.

Before you sign any contract please reed my story and learn from my mistake.I came to San Antonio Matchmakers with high expectation, paid membership for $7995 of 14 times of introductions through the company with 12 months of active hold time.This business does not have clients. After I signed up, I got 1 introduction that was 10% meets my requirements. I gave feedback for this 1st introduction and got another offer which met only 5% of my requirements.I have called this company to beg for membership cancellation, but the lady on the phone told me that my contract had no cancelation, and then she added “what are you going to do to call your credit card?” I politely said “I will talk to you another time when I calm down”. This conversation hurt me the most.I feel this is a scam company. Every time Ive tried to report to my credit card, the company will change the service agent, call me back and start all over again about what my requirements.One time this company called me for feedback about their service, I told the truth that I will not recommend anyone to this service. The lady on the phone suggested me to get membership cancel, she looked up and found out this location did the dead end business; she had said “some location let me cancel within 2 days”At this point I don’t have any service from them. I want my money back but I can not. Update...Received a call from my new matchmaker, Tian! She’s been great to work with and I’m feeling hopeful!I paid and signed the agreement 2/5 so my review is based on my experience so far.I found SA Matchmaking through a Google search. I submitted my inquiry and received a call the very next day. The lady who contacted me was very personable and kind. She gave me a sense of hope! So i scheduled my in person meeting.I liked my interviewer. He was personable, energetic and friendly. The initial “interview” took 30-40 minutes. Off the bat i was told it typically takes 60-90 minutes for the process but he likes to get to the point and takes him half the time.I signed up for 6 matches. My interviewer was very confident i would not need more than 6 matches. He stated he already had some men in mind that would be a great match for me. Though he would not be my matchmaker, he stated he had some say. He said i was an attractive woman and i would have no problem being matched. I left feeling confident i was in good hands and would be matched fairly quickly. It was a great sales pitch!The background check took exactly a week. I received a call that it had been accepted and was told who my matchmaker would be. I was told i could receive a free match if i gave a 5-star review. The link was forwarded to me but i did not take advantage of the promo since i did not know much to give a 5-star review.Several weeks had gone by and i had not heard from anyone. I reached out via phone and left several messages. A week went by and still no response. It wasn’t until i looked up reviews that i found an email address. I sent an email and received a call the next day. According to the caller, notes on my account state they attempted to call me but unable to leave a message since my mailbox was full...My mailbox was not full.I spoke with the matchmaker and she found a match! I received a call from him the same day. Problem was that he was unsure when he would be able to meet. He sold his home in SA and was in Florida working on selling his home there. Apparently he was going through a nasty divorce. Total fail. Provided my feedback and they apparently started working on my next match. Two weeks later i received another match. Received a call from him same day. The following day i received a call from matchmaker stating it was not a match since i had young children. Another few weeks go by and i received another match. Received a call same day and setup our first meet. Great! I was excited.Date was okay but we didn’t have much in common. He was a home body and seldom went anywhere. I enjoy being home but equally enjoy being outdoors. After the date i requested we review the questions and my answers that are used to determine matches. Well apparently half the questions were blank and my answers were never recorded. So how exactly have you matched me with no answers to these important questions?It’s been 4 months and still no match. I sent an email to my matchmaker and he called and left a message. Once again I’m told that according to my contract there is no timeline. It’s about the number of referrals you purchased and it’s taking longer than anticipated to match me due to having young children.I have been patient and i understand it takes time but to be told it’s difficult to find a match because i have young children is something else (I have the voicemails and emails the prove that). I obviously made my interviewer aware i had children and disclosed their ages and not once did he state it’s challenging to find matches for woman with young children.My advice is to stick with online dating. Find a reputable online dating service and maybe hire someone to help you complete your profile about me page and a photographer to take some pictures for your profile. Maybe find an actual matchmaker who takes the time to know you and work for you to find a perfect match.Contract also says no refunds whatsoever so the only thing i can do is share my experience with others. After trying online dating I found that I did not have the right personality for meeting anyone online. I decided to try the approach offered by S.A. Matchmakers. I always felt the old way of meeting others, such as through a friend, would work best for me. And it did! I meet a great woman of 30 years. But time is not the same. There were a couple of reasons why I hired S.A. Matchmakers. First, online dating was not working. And second, I thought I could benefit from a coach who would help me find the right person for me. I have only been with them for less than a month but they have introduced me to women who have been very nice but still looking for the one.

Run from this place. I stumbled across this place while running an errand and was very interested in the service. Since I was pressed for time, I figured I’d get a card or take the link to their social media page so that I could inquire about using their service.The lady who came to the front was extremely rude when I asked if they had a card. Just a flat reply of “No” and a blank stare. I told her I’d just have to come back then because I was here for a work errand and saw her office and wanted to see what it was about. She gave me a disgusting look and said, “Its a dating service”. At this point, I was turned off. I would NEVER want to work with someone like her so I politely smiled and told her Nevermind. As I’m walking to the door she says outloud, “That was weird.” This place is COMPLETELY unprofessional. Do you really want someone like that helping you with something so personal?Edit: She’s also a liar. I found their Facebook page just now that is regularly updated.

I mustve had a momentary lapse of reason thinking that I was going to meet professionals in town and that this agency was honest and had integrity.Stacy (the one that called me) SHAME ON YOU - and Tracy, the (very odd looking biker chic wannabe,high in allergy pills) lacks of class, ethics, personality, charisma and professionalism. After I refused her attempt for me to pay $6.000 and asked if she was kidding, she got very upset, then she tried to negotiate the amount to a much lower rate; but when I refused again, she got furious and escorted me to the door. She also refused to give me my personal information. I requested to talk to the owner a dozen of times and nothing! If one day I get a hacker, my first choice to give the investigator will be them. Every time I talked to someone to request to speak to the manager or owner , it was clear they were out of state masquerading as being local.PLEASE stay away! they are all greedy and waiting for the next potential victim!BTW ~ Suzy giving the nice 5 star review is staged, she is from FLORIDA!click on her name ~And the owner is thanking her! The people sounded so excited to help me! Yet, they have almost non existent service. They didnt return phone calls or respond to emails. They did not use my criteria. I cant believe they are still in business. Please do not sign up with San Antonio Matchmakers!!!!

Run!! The moment I declined to pay $4000 the woman turned on me. It started at $6000.I went simply to see what was offered and it seems the only service is to empty your pockets. I also got to hear all about Tracys allergies. I wouldnt pay $5 for a shady and unclear service like this. Adios pavo.

These people took my money and havent given me one date. I told them what kind of mail I prefer and they would tell they need to try other men that are not of my interest. Beware of these people. Until I get my money back, I will keep this review up as a very bad review. Save your money the other person I talked to told me the same thing. The email them about the situation and they have how many times do I have to call yall to find somebody? I will be calling you guys again for the third time. Went on my 90 minute consultation today eager to find out about the service. The lady that interviewed me talked a lot about her allergies and her interests. We got to the cost and I told her that I wanted to think about it over night. She stood up and pointed to the door for me to leave.... I asked if I should call back tomorrow and she made it very clear that I was no longer a candidate. As I walked out the door she mumbled out loud What a waste of time. This was the most unprofessional experience and people should know this

But if the shoe fits.....1) matchmakers worked hard to convince me to go on dates that were very outside of my preferences, such as height or education level. My first date bad-mouthed the service a lot & now I know why.2) I moved from San Antonio & corporate will not contact me to discuss refund or other options. I have been politely requesting discussion for 2 months.3) I cannot in good faith sell this service to anyone else.

Helpful and friendly people

If I could give this place negative 10 stars I would. The woman Tracy did the same thing to me as the woman prior. She complained about her allergies the whole time and looked like she was on drugs. Also when I asked how much the service was and what I got for my money she said it was a million dollars and I got 1 referral a month. Then the price went down to 6,000 to 10,000 and I still was never told about the services that were provided. She insulted me and told me that I came in there to run the show and I told her somebody should because I got not one shred of information from her except that this cost was a million dollars. This is the most ridiculous company I have ever had the displeasure of wasted time spent and I have had a colonoscopy.
