The Texas Pool Man LLC resurfaced our pool this month and we are absolutely thrilled with the finished job. The owner, Albert, met with us and explained all the stages of the project and what to expect. We agreed to the terms and the workers could not have been better. They cleaned up at the end of each day and Albert visited the job every day. When work was completed and the pool was filled Albert returned and began the water balance process and returned every two days until the balance was perfect and he gave final instructions. We used Compass Restoration to replace our roof due to hail storm damage. They were quick to reply and completed a free estimate within a couple of days. Anthony was the project manager and was efficient, professional, and courteous. He replied quickly to messages and the many questions I had due to my own curiosity. They have a great selection of roofing materials too. The crew showed up on time and even though it was big job, they finished on time and left our property clean. We’ve already recommended Compass and Anthony to a family member and friends. Thanks so much!

Had a small business membership. Called to cancel several months ago when I transitioned to a different field...BBB kept charging monthly fee...called to cancel again 10 days ago and was told it was done, but no, they would not give any written confirmation...found out today that BBB is still not canceled, and will STILL not give written confirmation of my cancellation request! Furious. Now going through hassle of reporting fraudulent charges...BY the BBB...to pursue cancelling this racket through report of fraudulent charges on my card. What kind of two-bit nonsense refuses written confirmation or receipt(s)?! The name of the BBB representative was Destiny.Update: I was contacted by BBB and the issue was taken care of retroactively. However, having to raise a fuss to get a simple business transaction squared away remains unacceptable, which is why I am maintaining 1 star.

Will’s All Pro Plumbing and Air Conditioning San Antonio Texas:I called this company to fix my broken shower head assembly on Saturday. The technician said it was missing two screws and he had to reassemble once completed.He showed me the price breakdown and due to this being a significant issue I willing paid for the service of $689. It didn’t sit well all weekend and I requested to speak to a manager.The manager gave me his politically correct response and because I’m a veteran he then tried to give me some other offer but needed approval from the big boss. I asked about price of materials and labor for the current job but that’s not how they gauge the job.Two screws, reassemble the shower housing unit, and the technician was completed in less than 30 minutes once he started the job. So this is how veterans are treated in the state of Texas which is a TOTAL RIP OFF for any consumer.And to think I went overseas to Iraq and Afghanistan to fight for people and companies like this. It’s very shameful to know this company took advantage of a consumer trying to rectify a concern. Needless to say I will not be using this company in the near or distant future.

Toyota fraudulently opened a credit card in my name so I contacted BBB to investigate. instead, they chose to do nothing but mediate. waste of time. what’s the point of them if they’re not going to investigate?

I currently reside at Vista Del Rey apts and Ive had no hot water since Saturday its now Tuesday!! I do not suggest moving in unless they hire new leasing staff. They do no follow ups, mixing up unit numbers for work orders, or simply dont put work orders in. This is very disturbing to not have not water since Saturday during covid!!

I submitted a complaint about San Antonio based USAA screwing up my small companys transition of its employee 401k from USAA brokerage to Schwab brokerage. USAA responded to the complaint that they would get back to me. They never did. BBB San Antonio emailed me that they had closed the case as resolved. I resubmitted the complaint as unresolved. They asked via email if i had been contacted by USAA. I responded that there had been no follow up. They emailed the next day that the complaint was invalid as it repeat submisssion. TOTALLY USELESS SERVICE SAVE YOUR DUES AND DONT BOTHER TO BE A MEMBER.

This review is for Estradas Roofing Company. I contractor with them to install a standing ridge metal roof on my house in 2015. The preexisting asphalt shingle roof was damaged during the hail storm in April 2015.During the sales pitch, I was assured that the roof would never have to be replaced. This was the convincing point to go with a metal roof, since I didnt want to deal with replacing my roof again.The installation of the roof began in September. Throughout the installation process, I would call or text the company about the installation and whether they were coming to work on the roof. Most of the calls and text were never answered. The crew showed up when they wanted to and Ralph, the owner, would have an excuse for not providing quality customer service.The roof installation was finished in December. Yes, 60 days after it was started.I also contracted for a new patio and cover similar to the house roof. The existing patio roof was damaged during the hail storm and needed to be replace because it was leaking. The leaks caused water to run into the house. I specifically discussed the importance of the roof not to leak. I was assured that it would not leak. The patio was finished in February 2016.Every rain event we have had since February and there has been numerous, the roof has leaked. My wife and I have attempted to contact the company on repeated occasions. They came out once and added black tar to the roof joints, but it did not stop the leaks. Repeated calls have gone unanswered and my patio roof leaks in four places.I would not recommend Estradas Roofing Company to anyone. They do shoddy work, provide unsatisfactory customer service and do not react to customer needs.

Direct Flooring, San Antonio, TexasFlooring Direct removed carpet and installed Luxury Vinyl Tile in my whole house .... about 1350 sq feet in 7 rooms and long hallway. This was done in 5 days. The installers (Eloy Jr, Emilio, Ricardo, Preston and Jacob) were fantastic and kept me informed. They worked steadily, kept the area neat and clean, were very professional and polite. After they left I had a couple of little squawks and they were quick to return and handle. Eloy, Sr. gave me a quick quote and answered all my questions and concerns on this large project I was hesitant to do but needed to have done. I am pleased with the finished product and highly recommend this family owned and operated company.

I have had so many problems with other dealerships. H&R Automotive is the best dealership in San Antonio. I got a 2012 VW CC from them and it is a beautiful car very immaculate. Albert my salesmen was amazing in helping me get my deal done so quickly. He got my payment at what I could afford and on my pay dates. My son will be getting a car next year and I will be bringing him to H&R Automotive. I recommend this dealership to anyone that needs a good quality car at a fair price.

ASPEN HEIGHTS APTS by UTSA has continued to put on peoples credit reports false money owed as well as billed the parents for issues and apt. rent that they may not even have knowledge of. It is run (or was) by students so no one really takes and responsibility but they all forward your questions, bills and emails to others. They say they can automatically use your signature for 5 years as a co-signer but apartment rents and situations change so how can you hold a person to a 5 year variable contact without letting them know or having them sign? That is unconscionable. They put it on the parent credit hoping they can draw in more income . Terrible-- Pick any other place but there. They lied and hadnt cleaned the place before the girls moved in and other issues but still changed......DONT TAKE A CHANCE THERE- so many more options.

I took out an extended warranty on my 2007 , Chrysler 300 on 04/23/2016 , my contract number is SBK011957 , I understood that I had a 30 day waiting period and I had a $100.00 deductible , the amount of $120.88 was to be deducted from my bank account on the 3rd of every month , which they have been doing . When the contact was written up the person who took down my information stated that my vehicle had around 112,032 miles on it which it didnt , it had less then 122,000 miles . My AC went out in May 2016 , took my car in to Busted Knuckle here in San Antonio , Texas to get checked and fixed . My mechanic then called the warranty company and explained that the compressor to my AC had gone out , he was told by Melissa that I couldnt get it fixed caused my car did not have 113,00 miles on it , I explained to Melissa that my car when I purchased the contract did not have 113,000 miles , I was then told that I needed to fax information that showed that my car had less then 113,000 miles on it before they could revise my contract , I faxed information over and was told that I would get a call back within 30 minutes , when I receive a call back I was told that my contract had been revised BUT I still had to have 113,000 miles on my car plus I had to wait another 30 days before I could get my car fixed . S today I called the warranty company and asked when my 30 days would be up so I could get the AC fixed , now I was told that the warranty would not cover the AC cause it is now a preexisted problem . I was never told that from the very beginning and I am upset cause they are taking out my monthly payment of $120.88 each month . It is so unfair that you dont speak with one person cause every time I called I was given a different explanation . the name of the warranty company is Car Protection USA .So now I had filing a complain with the BBB and hopefully no one else will get misguided with these companies .I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy I did cancel my contract , BUT we the people need to be aware of companies that just want our money and lie to us . I want to recommend the best roofer in town: Rolands Roofing Co. I just had my roof replaced after the hail storm in April. Rolands Roofing did such a beautiful job, I keep going outside just to look at my roof!! It has made the house look like new! They also were nice enough to replace some rotted wood & re-attach the gutter to the house! as well as replace the vents! I believe they are the best roofers in town! Very clean work and very professional!!

Requested an evaluation of my sprinkler system to determine what needed to be done to make it work correctly. The person who showed up an hour and a half late did not review the system nor was he willing to provide an estimate of cost. I was not told in advance there was a service charge for him to show up. He provided no information or direction on what needed to be done. The charge to show up was for a half hour but he was here only 10 minutes. I would recommend that anyone who needs repair to a sprinkler system stay far away from this company.

Liberty Builders Of Texas....We had our first experience with Liberty Builders back in 2005. We called and got an appointment with Bob. He came by to show us samples of siding for our house. At this time we had estimates from a couple other companies besides Liberty Builders. LB was not the most expensive, nor were they the least, but the quality of the material LB was about to use, seemed what we wanted in siding material & the warranty was great. So they proceeded with the job and it was finished in a very timely manner. We were very pleased with the guy named Barry who did an excellent job.A year later, the next project we decided to do for our house was to replace all of our windows, for energy efficient ones. Again, we got several estimates including LB. Again LB came out on top with their quality and workmanship and price. The job was scheduled by Bob. 3 men came out and did all of our windows (11) in one day. Their clean up was superb and windows are perfect. We love them.Now came time that we needed a new roof, because of hail damage and age. We felt we wanted to just call Bob again at Liberty Builders. He came out to the house and showed us samples of roofing materials. He was very knowledgeable about this. We had him schedule a date for this work to be done. When the job was completed, Bob told us of a rebate from Corning Glass on these shingles. He proceeded to send in the paperwork for us!!Liberty Builders has been our “go to contractors” for the quality of the materials they use, and their fine workmanship. A couple years later, we wanted to replace our old outdated sliding glass door with a new one with blinds in the window of the door. It was a difficult one to get, because our door was an oversized one. It had to be specially built door with the blinds inside the glass. LB came through again. The men took out the old door and put in the new one all in one day, and it was pouring raining outside. It came out perfect.Finally, this fall (Nov.2018), we decided we were going to take the plunge and have our kitchen remodeled. (No easy task!) we did get several contractors to come out. We tried to explain to each one what we wanted done, what materials we had picked out to use (cabinets, backsplash, quartz countertop, lighting, paints, etc). The other contractors, I felt, weren’t really listening and just seemed to want to do things their way. We were not comfortable with any, except LB. I have to tell you, Bob from LB brought in his men, Bill, Raymond, Cesar and Hector. They sat down with us, took pictures, wrote everything down and went over every detail. We got an estimate right away. We made a contract with them and scheduled the job. We did get a little disappointed when the job had to be rescheduled, because the materials did not come in yet. The the day came to start this remodel. I, myself was a little nervous about this whole thing, but Bob and his men kept reassuring us and discussed everything they were about to do to keep this job running smoothly. They made sure they were doing everything according to what the contract stated. All said and done, this kitchen remodel went so smoothly and it is amazing!! We can’t say enough about how beautiful the workmanship & quality of the materials that went into this job. We are totally happy and would recommend Liberty Builders to all. I have been working hard to maintain my A+ rating with the BBB for the last few years. I have even payed to be accredited, which is not cheap by any means. So when I found a competitor using the A+ BBB logo on their ads, I informed them. That company had an F rating a few months ago. Now they have an A+ rating? WTH? Why am I paying to be accredited if all I have to do is say that I am and use their logo? This organization is supposed to protect consumers, not give companies A+ when they were lying to the public and using the BBB logo to do it no less. Dont trust the BBB.

Acme Electric & SolarThe gal on the phone identified herself as the Owners Wife. She was rude, loud and not accommodating. Earlier when making the appointment, Id asked the Dispatcher to call/text me 1 hour before the tech was to arrive, they said they would...they did not...and when I arrived the Tech was driving away. Acme has no idea of what Good Client Service is. If the Owners Wife behaves this way, whats to be expected from the Tech, oh wait, I do know...they drive away, ha!

This is for Red McConbs Ford on 410 and Culebra. I purchased a 2011 Toyota Avalon. I had it for one month and the transmission went out. I called them and they said sorry thats not our problem. I havent even made my first payment. Im out $2500.00. I understand there was no warranty but 4 weeks with a car and Theres absolutely nothing they can help me with. WARNING! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!!I hired ANYTIME CONCRETE from Von Ormy, TX, to do a small section of sidewalk and a concrete parking pad at my home. They responded to a search I did through Porch when looking for a concrete contractor. They came out and gave me an estimate, and then came back a few days later and started to form the project. They were there a few hours and had me sign a contract and pay half of the fee up front. They then disappeared and I never heard from them again despite numerous phone calls, emails, texts, and even letters sent by certified mail. I am now filing a small claim against them.

I think this is just to make money. You have to pay to be accredited if you dont they will have someone write bad review about you and then put an F on your profile. People should ignore the bbb and go by the businesses reviews online. The true reviews by customers themselves.

This is for Chuck E. Cheese at the Selma location. I am now a former employee. On Saturday April 8th, I was basically fired. When I went to clock in it said access denied you are no longer employed so I talked to my manager and he said they took me out of the system over night just because I havent been working. Want to know why I havent been working? Because they havent been giving me hours! So my manager basically tried blaming me for why I havent been working. Then he said if I wanted to continue to work there, I would have to come back on Monday April 10th and fill out all of the paperwork again. Of course I didnt do it. But while I was walking out, one of my co-workers told me that they have been taking people out of the system and not even telling them. So apparently Im not the only person theyre doing that to. Thats extremely unprofessional. How are you going to take someone out of the system but not tell me them? DO NOT WORK AT CHUCK E. CHEESE AT THE SELMA LOCATION! I do not recommend Choice Home Warranty. they said will pay for all the repair on roof, AC, pluming, nothing have been deliver. when my AC when out at my home. CHW refuse to pay for service because I didnt have a regular maintenance service. but when they advertise to me as a new client CHW will pay for all repair no question ask. dont believe them!! roof leaktook them 2 months and 2 different company and still I have a leak roof.the company they send never have intention to come and check out my leak roof. in fact they put me on hold for min 26 mins before I can talk to someone.I also file a clam on pluming for 2 weeks still have not hear from them. I pay $500 for one year Warranty so they can rip you off. they suck!!!!

After the intial service, parts were ordered, but after I made several phone calls without any respnse, the service person texted me that hed show up on a Friday to complet he service.
