Very helpful people in here. Professional and effective. I had a problem three times and they provided me with the right solution, sometimes for free, like checking tyre air pressure. Other times a flat tyre for about 25 dollar. Other things for a fair price.

My tire started leaking while picking my kids up from school yesterday. I called Ken’s and even though it was the end of the day, Rudy told me to bring it on in. Thankfully, it was just a nail and it was able to patched. They did it right away and I was done in 15 mins. So thankful for kind, prompt service and the inexpensive fix.My car just came due for an oil change so you can guess where I’m taking it now!

I needed a flat tire repaired in a hurry. The big box company told me it would take over 2 hours. Kens took care of it in under 30 minutes, and the cost was on the house.Great customer service.

This place of business is awesome. No run arounds with your car issues. I had a bust headlight that went out on a rainy day on my Mazda 6. The manager took my car into the shop on the spot and changed out both headlights with in 15 mins. Thanks again Louie (you Da Man). I returned later to have my Mustang GT serviced and got the same 5 star treatment.

I purchased a groupon online, for a synthetic blend oil change. When I got there the rep said that I would have to buy special oil since it was a diesel (you dont), and after that didnt work, they said that because it was a diesel I couldnt get a synthetic blend, but I had to buy full synthetic 5w-30 again because it was a diesel, then said that the price difference was $30. First of all, diesels run fine on a synthetic blend, you dont need special oil, and 5w-30 is a cheaper viscosity than a thicker oil. So buyers beware, they will not honor your groupon, and if they do they are going to try to squeeze you out of as much additional money as they can deceive you into paying. Buyers beware. Not recommended.

Dont go here. Go somewhere else. Take a chance with any other business than this one.

I originally came in due to the awesome reviews and was not disappointed, they were very efficient in taking care of my problems while maintaining amazing customer service. I came in with a nail in my tire, and due to leaving the country soon and being tight on money, I was worried about prices being too high but they’re beyond fair in pricing. Excellent service! I had an issue with my car late on a Friday evening and showed up without an appointment just a few minutes before they closed. Rather than rushing me out, they took the time to talk to me about what was wrong and let me drop off my car. They even took a look at my vehicle first thing on Saturday morning, which was extremely convenient because a lot of other places were closed all weekend.Their repairs were done in a timely manner, and the pricing was very reasonable. The employees were all knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They communicated consistently with me about any updates related to my vehicle, answered all of my questions, and even took the time to actually explain what was mechanically wrong with my car. They never came off as rude or condescending toward me. In fact, they went above and beyond in terms of their flexibility and willingness to accommodate my hectic work schedule.I would highly recommend this Goodyear to anyone in the area, and I cannot thank them enough for their help.

I went in with no appointment to get a tire patched after discovering a large nail in my tire. The service was done very quickly and I was back on the road in no time. While I was waiting I was very impressed with the interactions I saw between the staff and other customers. It seemed that almost everyone (at least 3 out of 5) were previous customers. They seemed to be well known (I even heard the front desk person ask about the family of one of the customers) and happy with the work they do.

So very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Wont try to jack the price and will work with you to get the work you need done. Its nice to know that are still honest and good people out there!

Next day appt which was good. Brought it in for a simple balance and rotate. They had to do some extra work because of some real bad service from the last place I went to. No extra charge. I trust these guys. Absolutely no complaints.

I got brand new tires about a month ago, and yesterday I walked out to my car to see a dreaded flat. I have shoulder issues, so I had to wait for my husband to get home to put the spare on. He took my car and the busted tire over to Goodyear and they gave us a great deal! They were fast with service, welcomed us with friendly faces, and now I have a tire that actually works. 10/10, I would recommend this place to anybody!!

Was showing a home in the area and to my surprise when I got back in my car it showed I had 8psi on one of my front tires. I drove to a nearby school since I was not familiar with the area and did a quick search for a tire shop and by luck this shop was at the corner from me. I called to assure they could assist and they were so friendly. I showed up and they assessed the tire,confirmed a hole and filled my tire up with air so I could get to my dealership. I had no appointment and they were super fast and friendly! Thanks Rudy!

Amazing service! - Use them for everything including Service, Brakes and now Air-Conditioning. The store managers, Andy and Rudy are extremely polite, professional and helpful. If I could choose less than one star I would. They are kind of good at dealing with the cars but they are absolutely horrible at customer service!!!! They do not treat disabled veterans with the respect they deserve! Defamation of character is what they tried to do to a good friend of mine who is a disabled vet. Good thing his Major knows exactly what kind of person he is, so the lie they tried to make on his name did nothing but make everyone in the office laugh. I’m making sure no one I know and care about goes here...absolutely trash customer service!

My first visit to Kens Goodyear was so great, I travel from Alamo Ranch just to have my vehicle serviced by the gentleman at this location. I just moved to San Antonio and Ive only had my vehicle serviced twice however, as a true bargain shopper I always feel the prices are more than fair for the awesome service they provide. It started to rain heavily during my last visit. When my vehicle was finished (in less than 30 minutes with no appointment), the mechanic pulled my vehicle to the front door and escorted me to my car with his umbrella. If youre looking for a professional environment with expert mechanics and wonderful customer service, I highly recommend Kens Goodyear.

I happened to stop in without an appointment because I found a nail in my tire. They took me in right away and fixed my tire. The staff there was amazing but what surprised me most was that they normally charge a small fee for the repair but charged me nothing. They now have a new loyal customer in me when I need new tires or any other service they provide. Thank you to all those who helped me today.

Kens Goodyear is a great place to get your car serviced. Rudy and Andy were the best and very knowledgeable and helpful when I brought my car in yesterday. I will continue to bring my car back for oil changes or any other auto issues.

Quality of work is great however attitudes of staff to include the manager is lacking. Was originally told 1 1/2 hours until the vehicle would be ready....4 1/2 hours later I still sat in the waiting area. How long does it take to change some tires? Rudy, the manager, sat and played on his phone at the front desk instead of being out in the garage helping his employees. This place needs some staffing assistance and leadership changes!

Took my truck in to get my blinkers fixed they charged me 200 dollars for a diagnostic test and found out it was a fuse but when I left my blinkers were working in reverse, so I tried to take it back a week later and they wanted to charge me another 200 dollars for another diagnostic test, how many diagnostic test do you need in a month for the same problem and why should I have to pay for something they were suppose to fix in the first place. My blinkers werent working in reverse when I bought it in for repairs it only did that after they replaced the blinker fuse.

Where do I start to say how terrible this place is managed....I took my vehicle here to get 4 new tires installed. When I picked it up from there shop I drove about 1/4 mile down Austin hwy and my Rear wheel FELL OFF! Caused an accident and $3500 in damage to my car. I had to go through their insurance to get my car repaired. They had to replace my bumper, suspension, repaint my quarter panel, and also my drivers side door where the wheel rolled into after falling off. My car was down for 2 months at the body shop. Upon receiving my car back from the body shop and driving it to work, my front tire had a blow out! NOT EVEN 15 MILES on my car since the new tires. I had to have my vehicle towed a second time. When checked out I found the rim had visible cracks in it which was causing air leaks. Tire shops are supposed to check the condition of the rims, and check for air leaks during install. I then had to have my rim repaired, and get a new tire. I asked the new manager Paul Thompson to help me take care of the $113.00 tire I had to replace because of their companies lack of skills installing tires properly. (I would cover the tow and rim to be repaired) Paul got into an argument with me and told me he did everything he could do. After all I went through, to charge me $113.00 for another tire, was just the last straw. I STRONGLY advise anyone to stay away from this poorly managed company. Accidents do happen but how you treat the customer after a situation like this is what makes the difference. They would rather charge me $113.00 then try to do the right thing. Bad Business

So I brought my truck into Kens to have an alignment done, as they have Hunter equipment.This location does not know how to use their alignment equipment or do what their equipment tells them to do.A test drive after the alignment and I could clearly tell that the left side caster was too low as compared to the right.It is well known that cross-caster will cause a vehicle to pull to one side or the other, toward the side that the lower caster angle.Surprise! The printout illustrated acceptable values on each wheel, for camber, caster, and toe. However, the cross-caster and cross camber were not within range and were printed in RED. Values were outside of the -0.5 and 0.5 range allowed for cross caster.Cross-camber was also out of range.I asked them to try again to get the cross-caster and cross-camber into acceptable values as provided by Hunter.I asked to have the left side brought more positive to be within range of the right, as I prefer the centering of positive caster. The values I was requesting were within factory ranges, specifically, I wanted the left brought from .08 or so to be within .05 of the right, which they had at first botched to .15. It is acceptable to have less caster on the left to compensate for road crown in countries where you drive on the right.I was told that I was not taking their advice, and the tech proceeded to tell me that toe-in and toe-out were the cause of the pulling, which is is FALSE as compared to caster, but this whole conversation is stupid when the printout SHOWS you what the values are supposed to be.Their advice was incorrect. I was courteously told that I was asking too much to have a satisfactory alignment. No harm, no foul, I was not charged.They called me a year after this visit to remind me about them. I never consented to marketing phone calls.

My first time coming to this company was also the last. I received a coupon in the mail for a discounted oil change and went straight after work. The store manager asked if I could come any earlier...no I can not I stated. Whether it is 5:30pm or 6:00 good business will serve you. This was not good business. If he had stated, I am sorry we are unable to help you today, but let us schedule an appointment for tomorrow that would have been great! But he simply replied ok. WHAT KIND OF MANAGER TURNS AWAY BUSINESS. However, if you want good business I would strongly recommend Express Lube. They are a little more pricier but you will be happy when you leave. I will never return to Kens Good Year.

This is honestly one of the best experiences Ive had with a repair shop - patched a tire with a nail in it and an oil change for $35. And even though Im no longer active duty, the manager threw a tire rotation in, gratis, as a military discount. It took, all told, maybe 30 minutes. And, best of all, no obnoxious up-selling that I needed to have unnecessary, expensive repairs done. T.J., the current manager, has a great grasp on the business and hes personable too. I will be back whenever I need something done for either of our cars.

This place is overpriced. They charged me $75 for a full synthetic oil change which usually cost me around $40-$50 elsewhere. They also always want to repair the whole system even if it’s just a part that needs to be replaced. For example, my radiator was leaking and they wanted to replace the whole coolant system for $2000+. I got the radiator replaced elsewhere for $120 and it’s been working great. Avoid this place.To the owners response, I have never hit a deer before so yall must have the wrong account/person and you did give me an estimate of 2k. Also I was never offered a least expensive full synthetic oil in fact I was told my car had to have the premium.

First I thought they were a little expensive on my estimates. Check with Ross automotive (who was cheaper) then talked to Bryan and he gave me a discount ending even with the Ross estimate.For second time I come here glad with the attention and the new discount.

So I originally brought my car here about 1.5 years ago, recommended by family. MISTAKE. This is the kind of place that charges you and arm and a leg, then you, conveniently, end up needing more work for something else within a week. I asked them to rotate the tires while my SUV was there for an oil change and some other minor work. My car came back to me way out of alignment, to the point that my steering wheel was shaking at 40mph, and when I asked them about it, they said Id just have to pay for an alignment, like $130 more. Then within a week of driving my car it needed more work, and they wanted to charge $900 for, so I did not return to Kens. Now, a few weeks ago my car started having battery issues. I tried Kens again, and they charged $1100 to replace my battery, starter, and alternator. I had little choice and paid. The next day my front wheel is squealing and I take it back, for them to tell me its a leaking caliper and $600 more to replace all brake parts and caliper with brake flush.... I thought they were joking. They insisted that if I didnt leave it with them that the brake would fail and it was very dangerous to drive. I refused to pay them anymore. My regular mechanic decided only 1 of the 4 parts needed to be replaced and did it on all 4 tires for $130. Makes me wonder if my starter was bad or if it was just the battery and/or alternator. This place is shady and my family and I have decided to never use their services again. They can be nice but its not worth paying 5x more that you should. They dont even have the courtesy to check your fluids/belts or at least give a discount for loyal customers, like most places. Technically,all employees are nice and the work theyve done has held up, for the record.

That shop helped and did everything they could to try and fix my old vehicle had 286,000 miles on it. Even though it didnt get fixed because the parts were so hard to find they went above and beyond to help. They let me keep my undrivable vehicle at until it was sold to someone. They even helped the guy buying my vehicle to load it up and all for no charge. They deserve good things to come to them and they were very professional in my disconcerted state.I hope the best for these guys! Especially Rudy having to answer so many of my phone calls. And Jacob for holding on to the keys!

I was looking into buying a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change. There were none in my area, so I called this place to ask what the upcharge would be with the Groupon credit for their synthetic blend oil change. Rudy quoted me $15-$20 additional bc they have a full synthetic oil change special right now. So I purchased the Groupon and scheduled for today.When I was checking in, they said the difference was $50 something dollars and I explained that I had called and was quoted $15-$20 for the upgrade. So they changed some things and said the price would be $34 and some change additional, final price. I paid it bc I was already there and needed it done, but I don’t appreciate being quoted a price and having it be nearly $15 more, like, “too bad for you”. I didn’t add any services or products so the price quoted should’ve been honored. The people answering the phones should verify prices before quoting, it’s not a specialty procedure, it’s a basic oil change.Anyway, I’ll be going to a more honest and consistent place for my servicing needs in the future.

Had vehicle mistakenly towed to another shop (Galaxy Automotive AAA repair shop) that told me the timing belt was broken and valves bent on my fiat. Had it towed to Kens on Austin Highway where it was originally suppossed to go. Paul and Rico went into research mode and partnered with Fiat and discovered that when the vehicle sits for longer than 3 or 4 days all thenoil drains down and tells the computer not to start as a safety percaution. Once they flushed and filled oil started up and saved me over $3000 on an unnecessary engine replacement. This is not the first time they have beat estimates or fixed vehicles other shops cant or wont repair. Thanks Paul and Rico. You guys rock!!!

Take your buisness to a corporately owned Goodyear and save yourself the headache and time. I took my car there to have it looked at due to a noise coming from the engine bay even though I wasnt having ANY mechanical issues, they looked it over and agreed with my assumption that it was the power steering pump so it was replaced, flushed multiple times, but to no avail. Then they said its the alternator so it was also replaced, as well as pulleys, belt tensioner, more special fluids from the dealer, and also there was apparently a hose that was needed for the new aftermarket power steering pump. So after all is said and done the noise was still tthere, so after 2 days without a vehicle they call to say Sorry we cant be your superheroes today, your original alternator is being put back on and you car will be ready in half an hour but just to warn you the noise is still there. But I would really like to just charge you for the labor so I get back to theyre shop and was given a bill for $ 175. 62 and was asked to sign off on it and told the noise should go away on its own, maybe if you hadnt brought it in it wouldve gone away on its own. So naturally I call HQ Goodyear, to only be given piss poor service by a lady by the name of (Jessica) wouldnt give last name claiming theyre was nothing she ccould do for me due to the fact that they are independently owned. So I called Global Goodyear HQ and was put in contact with a very helpful woman by the name of Jennifer, she contacted them for me and when she called me back she said Never in all my years with Goodyear have I been spoken to in such a unprofessional, disrespectful manner by a higher up from Goodyear The gentleman she spoke with is GM Rudy Trejo, she was told that I would be contacted and the matter would be resolved in theyre own way and on theyre own time. Ive yet to receive a phone call from anyone at KENS TIRE INC. ( Goodyear) I will never take or recommend anyone go to any of these numerous locations they run. Ongoing nightmare, save yourself the trouble.
