I’m in my 3rd year here and have to say that I love it. Although there might be some who say negative things, this complex is a great place to live. It’s a quiet community and is, for the most part, lovely. I have only good things to say about the maintenance crew, the staff, and my fellow residents. One thing, though…be mindful of the speed bumps!

The pool is filthy green slime all over ,so many of the apt outdoor lights are out used to be better managed

Would not recommend. Management does not respond in a timely manner. Work orders do not get filled in a timely manner. When people need to come to your apt to fix or check something, they dont notify the tenant with a phone call or notice on the door, they just knock and come in. Landscaping people do not do a good job of keeping up the grounds and trimming all the bushes in front of walkways. Trash bins always full and overflowing. Just, please, look elsewhere.

Management is very unprofessional to residents needs. Besides not being truthful, they don’t follow up on the work request orders. Smoke alarms are not working properly and management don’t care a single bit. I guess their thinking is “let the residents burn. We the managements don’t live here.” My next thought is calling the fire department to see if they can take care of the smoke alarms. As for the other unfinished work orders, both the corporate office and the better business bureau should be notified.

The staff was very friendly and helpful the lady that help me took her time and explained everything. She gave me all the information that was needed to get the process started. The property was very well maintain and clean. I would recommend this property to my friends and family.

Dumpsters are over flowing for more than a week lots of lights are out under staffed maintenance used to be well managed

If I could give 1/2 a star I would. Management is horrible and lies about requirements and timing. You are told one thing on the phone and then a different story when you arrive for your appointment. My mom was told that a cottage would be available for her in June so they made the appointment. She took off of work and when we got there Kathy changed her story of what was available and when it would be available. Kathy is rude and clearly lies just to check people off a waiting list. If management is like this getting into a place then you definitely don’t want to live there and deal with them permanently. Retirement should be fun and peaceful but not with these people. My advice...keep on looking!

My father currently lives there and the management is unprofessional . I was surprised by the manager Minda who did not care to hear a concern related to the well being of my father. This is new management and I have heard nothing but bad things from other residents.

Your floor tile is all unglued , one of our toliets was leaking still not fixed completely . counter top covering in kitchen coming unglued , also our entrance way was filthy with old bird droppings and mud dropper best.which I myself am still trying to clean : note have only been living here 3 weeks. They said all was ready ... What a mess

To whom it may concern: Ive been living at the Primrose at Mission Hills for the past year and I love it! The management is always friendly and kind and theres so many activities and fun things to do! I have made many friends! The grounds are always well kept and clean....The maintenance workers are very considerate and well mannered and well educated to fix any problem that would arise...The apartments are well kept and bug free...:)Now for my apartment....I love it because even though I have a one bedroom....I have arranged it in a well organized and decorative way...I really like the set up...and enjoy sitting on the balcony with my little dog when the weather is nice...Its also a benefit that we have activities such as the food bank commodities and a lunch every day....and of course the other activities like Bingo...and other fun things we do....and also having the opportunity to grocery shop with the Primrose bus, so we dont have to worry about going to the store when we dont have other transportation, sometimes its fun to just get out and go on a day trip....I hope I havent forgotten anything....I am very happy to be living here....Thank you! This was the worse experience that I have ever had seeking housing here in San Antonio Texas!I first applied at primrose at mission hills in March 2019, I first put myself on the waiting list for a two bedroom four plex because of my disabilities! Kathy the temporary leasing agent and Heidi the property manager did everything the could to not rent a four plex two bedroom apartment to me! They work for pinnacle property management that manages several apartments and two senior apartment communities here in SA. I applied and was denied because of my credit history that is not so good due to being forced into a early retirement due to a on the job injury. I was not denied because of my renal history ( my rental history is good!) But denied because of my credit history that should have been approved based on their application qualification criteria clearly stating that most of the negative entries are past the two years that is in their criteria policy! I requested the screening report from my application from the third party that pinnacle uses (rent grow) and it clearly states that my credit history entries are over seven years old Moreover, the staff at Primrose at mission hills ALSO imputed my income wrong which caused the screening report to deny my application due to not having enough income to rent a apartment and credit history that is Seven years old which is AGAIN past their qualification criteria of two years for any entries on your credit history! It is clear that Heidi and pinnacle did not want me to live at this property because I when to their sister property and applied ( which was my second choice and the other senior property that pinnacle manages, I was treated very nice, and most of all I was “APPROVED ON THE SPOT” at that property)!!! I am confused at how they can get away with this because “Both”properties are managed by pinnacle management, use the same application qualification criteria, and the same third party screening process However, I was denied at Primrose at mission hills and approved at Primrose at Monticello Park!I did contact pinnacle’s regional offices and their CEO with no response from either! This is discrimination at its finest!!!

Give $200 dollars plus $16.50 for deposit and processing fee was told it would take 72 hours to approve or denied it has been 68 days and no approval or denial. Cannot talk to anyone or get answer so I can look for an another apartment. I am now homeless and they were informed I informed now I am living in a motel. I have not received my deposit bacinformed. Was told it was up to compliance to approve or deny but cannot talk to anyone in Austin in compliance to get and answer.

They do not change out filters every month like they should and it takes weeks for maintenance to come and put a bandaid on whatever is wrong and not fix things right. Every month they use different lawn people, some good, most bad. I guess they are trying to save money but you get what you pay for. Some do not sweep the walkways or patios from the grass a devris leaving elderly and disabled to try and clean it themselves but they cannot so it piles up. One step up from slum lord treatment. This place is suppose to be discount but 2 bedroom for my mother is $800.00. She pays all bills on top of that.

Tenants are friendly but manager and staff except Janice are horrible and very rude and they lie. Especially Heidi Galway beware of her when talking to her , cover your back by recording everything and getting everything in writing. She tries to scare you and cusses alot. She argues with everyone and always wants to be right. Don’t let them fool you because at first they are nice then they turn against you. People don’t back down on her ,stand up for yourself/get together with other tenants & fight for your rights

They didnt fix the bathroom until a week later and they still dont know why the water was coming up into the carpet that just let the water out the value outside. They lied to housing saying they fixed the carpet because they put it back under the silver lining but if its torn theres no way for it to stay so no I wouldnt recommend anyone I know too stay here the people in the office are rude and they throw things away you requested and tell you that you never filled anything out..... They need to change the staff here......

I am so disappointed. After months of being on the waiting list Kathy called me last sat. She sad they had a 1 bed Cottage, i am disabled. For 677. And made an appointment for me and my daughter to fill out paperwork. I have email where she confirmed the paperwork application fee and deposit i needed to bring Friday 4/19 at 10 am.We arrive on time she was eating at her desk and ignored us for awhile. Twice she asked if i had an appointment, yes with you. Then see proceeded to very rudely she didnt have anything or wait I have a 2nd story in june but i cant process it because that is to far way.I asked what about the cottage you told me to bring the deposit for.I had read the reviews regard her rudness. Rudness is one thing down right lying is another. I waited for months to get that call. I wanted to live there. But is someone lies before you move in what else will the lie about.Someone called while we were there regarding a broken elevator, we were there an hour and she never called for. Someone was standed and she didnt care.My next is monday to report this to hud.

This place is horrible and they lie . Manager is bad and lies and tries to scare you. Carpet had bugs and then they tried to say I had a pet. I dont like pets especially indoors. Thats why I dont eat at peoples houses who have indoor pets. And yes get everything in writing and always record managers especially Heidi Galway.
