11 days of no hot water. A swamp for a pool area, absolutely no management, no maintenance and they charge whatever they feel like for utilities. Id think twice.Edit: Day 15 of no running hot water and apparently there is not 1 water heater (commercial size) to be found in San Antonio to be installed along with a masterplumber to complete the job. Also our pool looks like a chemical swamp now because there is also a shortage of chlorine in San Antonio as well, so we dump 6 bottles of fluid and well, the fairies will clean the rest Im sure. And please do not respond to this review with your generic answer because no one who knows anything ever responds with the truth.

My experience at Oak Creek Apartments was great - I loved the location, and particularly the greenbelt and creek right in the middle of the city. The property sold right in the middle of my lease, and I was wary, but my experience with the new management company was positive. I found Pablo to be responsive to my requests. I do know that there were issues with hot water heaters and maintenance - fortunately, I lived in a unit that had no such issues. Unfortunately, I think that the timing of the freeze coincided with the sale of the property, and the new owners were left with major plumbing issues. When my lease ended, a new maintenance team had been hired, and they seemed to be working hard to address all of the issues that come with an older property. Overall, it was a peaceful and safe property, with a beautiful greenbelt, in a great location.

Had a few hiccups for a minute with management changing but the new manager Pablo had been amazing and very understanding. He has done his best to take care of any issues we have had. Hes very caring and listens to any and all of our issues. Thank you Pablo!

This management group & apartments is horrible. I moved out almost 2-3 months ago and still haven’t heard anything about my deposit. The contact information that the leasing office gave to contact the management of the apartments goes straight to voicemail. They claim they don’t reach out to management so therefore they don’t have any contact information other than the one number they provided. I think it’s awful for a leasing office to not have an accurate number for the management of the apartments. The Company is called Disrupt Management. Think twice before you move to Oak Creek apartments, they’ll take your money fast and send it to management but is so clueless when it comes to how to contact them. The leasing office consults have a nasty attitude & is not helpful what so ever. If I could give these apartments a negative 10 they would of gotten it.

I moved here on July 1st from six hours away. We chose this location because of the low crime. The trash is picked up on a regular basis and there is no graffiti in the neighborhood. Laura, the assistant manager, was very attentive, helpful and dedicated to helping us qualify and move in here. Pablo, the manager is also very friendly and attentive, I have seen him picking up trash and working hard. We have been here for 12 days, there are no bugs anywhere inside of our apartment. One spider hitched a ride in my boxes, but other than that, no bugs. The apartment was in good condition and clean when we moved in. The a/c is very cold and the shower has good water pressure. I have requested a screen for my bedroom window. That is the only flaw. The neighborhood is safe. There are no loud cars playing loud music. The apartments are well insulated between floors. We are not bothered by any noises from neighbors. There are kids who play in the parking lot, but they have good manners. I think this place is a gift from God and a perfect experience for our first San Antonio apartment. There is a beautiful dog park and a creek. Lovely grounds.Edit: 8/2021: We have currently been without hot water for eleven days. I feel this should have been addressed in an emergent manor.

I have lived here now going close to 4 years. I was here when it was Adara. Now Disrupt Management has taken over. The transition was EXTREMELY difficult at first but we are extremely happy here.Laura is my favorite person there. She has helped me a lot. I got into a a major car accident due to seizures with my Autistic daughter and have helped me with things that are other complexes wouldn’t. I would like to have a meeting with Pablo to get to know him better. I truly believe that we can work together with ideas and concerns.We intend to live here for as long as life allows. There are things I would like to see changed. However, 99% of the time we are extremely pleased. Especially with my whole family that have huge disabilities. I myself have Lupus, my Daughter is Autistic & my Mom is on Dialysis. Thank you to the new management and I hope we can continue to work together. I do have some ideas that I would like to talk about with you guys. But otherwise I am content.

As a make ready tech for a different complex I used to think that Iron Horse apartments off Perrin Beitel was the worst but with the new management here, Oak Creek now takes that award. I have lived here for 3+ years now management has changed 3 times. work orders are always closed out with nothing done. I have had the same leaks in my apartment the whole time I have been here. Ive only ever had someone take pics and leave. thats it. there is water damage to every base board in my apartment and now water seems to be leaking from my kitchen and living room ceiling. This review is a result of nothing ever getting done. I spend all day actually repairing things for people just to come home to this stressful joke. Also management thinks its ok to blatantly lie. After i told them about these issues I said I wanted to relocate and they told me that they did not have anywhere to relocate me to after the had put out NOWLEASENG signs. So you just want to move in new people and screw the ones that have been here? In my opinion this is the worst place in SA. Ive seen better rundown apartments on the south side.Edit: also anyone giving this place 5 stars is obviously fake. come talk to some of the actual residents, you will not get the same story.

I have lived here for a year and some change and haven’t had many problems. It’s pretty quiet around here which is nice and maintenance is always prompt and quick when I do have problems. There is a new office team since I first moved in but they are super friendly and never frustrated when I have questions. Dakota deserves a special mention because he is always ready to help me even if it’s just a question about packages. There is no assigned parking but everyone is pretty respectful when it comes to parking in the same spot. Although, the building I was in, “I” is always hard to find for visitors which I hated but all in all this place isn’t terrible for my first apartment I enjoyed my time here and for the rent it isn’t a bad place to live. I did have a broken car window more recently but nothing was taken and I believe it was an accident because kids are usually playing in the parking lot. I would renew my lease but I’m looking to move closer to my work, I do recommend for someone who isn’t trying to break the bank and live in a decent place with decent people.

Lived here for almost a full year. Loved the rent prices, the quietness of the neighborhood & the easy access to I-10 & Wurzbach Pkwy. Just had the management change about a month ago and it’s gone a little downhill since then. The trash rarely gets picked up. It’s a small complex compared to others in the city so there’s only 4 dumpsters but all 4 are completely overflowing into the parking lot. It’s been hard with COVID but our late fees went from 4$/day to 10$. (even though they said they weren’t charging late fees for this month) We’re only late bc they never gave a rent statement directly, so we went off the app which the new management said was no longer valid, so we didn’t pay the full amount we never knew the full amount. Wish the management would get it together with better communication and regular trash pickup bc it’s just very unpleasant to look at, especially when guests visit. Still a good neighborhood to be in.

This place is an absolute disaster and deserves 0 stars... from move in to move out and now theyre still dragging out returning my deposit (its been over 45 days and they still cant even tell me how much my refund will be). I had multiple floods in my apartment from multiple faulty repairs to the upstairs bathroom and I always got the run around. They would come in, look and say well, we cant do anything until its dry. I had one instance where it leaked 3 times in one month and they wouldnt fix the damage. I threatened to call the health dept. On the advise on one of the visiting properties associated. Thats when they finally hired a contractor to come fix the sheet rock from att the damage, they came out and did the quote and everything stating that they were gonna fix the bathroom. Then on the day of the actual repair, they only did a minor paint job and it was the same day the manager had magically quit.... Upper management only cares about the money and could care less about the residents. The first summer I lived on the property, the pool was closed more that half of the summer and it was nasty. I would never recommend these apartment... also there is a huge roach infestation. The office staff is incompetent and its always well I have to get approval or I dont know it I dont have access....Update: I had called multiple times over the last month trying to get information about the deposit and I didnt hear anything until today when they said thay had tried contacting me... I had no missed calls until today from them... There where multiple instances that they stated something had been fixed but that didnt mean that they came in to repair the damage, they just stopped the leak. In the picture, notice that the exhaust fan is not properly installed, and it did not work properly. Also there is a huge spot above the bathroom in the middle of the shower and it had damage and all they did was scrape off the old paint where it was bubbled and repaint... you can also see damage where the wall and ceiling meet above the shower head.

Walkways upstairs are very dirty. I had hope they were going to power wash since theyre doing the sidewalks and some of the apt areas downstairs but unfortunately it wasnt taken careOf upstairs. Also the pool is very dirty. I understand its not in use because of the Covid 19 situation but I still thinkit should be service and kept clean..it is what family notices when they come to visit. When we first moved her it was very clean. Its what drew me to rent here. It seems they doing a little more again to make the property look nice. But Im hoping they will clean these two things Ive mentioned. As far as maintenance on trees, grass etc, the people doing the work are doing an excellent job. I do want to give Juan, the maintenance man a big thank you because I see he truly cares about us being satisfied with every work order he does! He is to be commended! It is now 2021, and i believe new owners. The pool is horrible! It is the first thing family sees when they visit. The upkeep of pool has not been good at all! Hopefully this will be taken care of asap.

I am very content with the staff and service this team provides. They never fail to meet my needs. The fact that they care so much and always give the residents and even applicants priority and respect differentiates them from so many other properties I have associated with. From inquiring, to applying and as far as to the work orders, they have been on top of it all. Workers are always so happy and friendly making the positiveness so contagious. Keep up the amazing work!

Ive been here going on 2 months and i must say they are on top of things. Jackie and Claire are super nice Jackie helped me with the process of moving in went super smooth. I had an issue with my ac the very next day they were there to check it no waiting Jaun the maintenance guy always makes sure his work is satisfactory well it is thank you Jaun keep up the excellent work kudos!! They are even giving the apartment a new coat of paint they look great! I have to say i really like this place. Thank you ladies for improving this place.

I was a recent resident for 2 and half years .I liked they area and apartment. I moved for personal reasons I wish I didnt have to. Management was good Alba was helpful never had problems with pest. Neighbors were quiet it wasnt loud it was a nice place to live and call home thank you.

I was originally in apartment 4. I moved in during an August heat wave to a broken air conditioner! Within 6 months, I had over 20 work orders to have the AC fixed. They lied, claiming to have put in a new compressor no less than 3 times. At one point they swore a bird had jammed the fan.In desperation, I changed apartments. I paid a transfer fee (which was ridiculous) and moved to a larger apartment. I spent 13 months in that apartment, and amassed 16 work orders just for the AC. At one point Jackie the district manager of Adara, Oak Creeks parent company, walked through my apartment. She saw water leaks coming through in 2/3 of rooms, promised 2/2 new bathtubs, and assured me I would have a new AC: absolutely none of that actually happened.When I left, I showed them all my evidence that BY LAW the apartment was not livable - I told them I would disappear so long as I never heard from them again.Today, nearly 3 years later, they try to charge me $400. Ill see them in court whilst I sue them for $14,300; every dime I ever gave them.Nothing more than a crack den. Adara Leasing is a disgusting company, peddling bed bugs and corruption.

Stay away from this place!! I was a resident for over 2 years and just moved. Im told i will be will be charged for carpet, bathroom and kitchen cleaning however I took pics before I left. My apartment was infested with gnats for two months and they did nothing. The property manager Andy had the nerve to tell me nothing could be done about a previous employee who provided me incorrect information. As it is his word against mine. Good move, for a new manager taking over. He did nothing on his part to try and resolve the issue. Please read the reviews, and do not make a mistake by signing a lease here.

The apartment is spacious, theres been no sign of pests, and the use of space makes it seem roomier than it already is. However, the maintenance man, Randy to be exact, is rude and incompetent. He half reads orders assigned to him and fixes something that wasnt even on the paper.. or states it wasnt broken when he saw it or blames it on someone else. So then I have to wait my turn all over again after submitting a new order because that was was closed out. Apparently both of your bathrooms being out of order and having a ceiling fan dangling over your head by a wire for a month is NOT an emergency to Oak Creek. The ONLY saving grace is that the front desk attendant Alba has patience for hearing out residents and diffuses my problems after they have already reached the blood pressure altering point.. She is the only one who assesses the situation and makes my stay here better. Thank You Alba!

Worst place to live at. I have family visiting and we have been without hot water for over 24hrs now. Called last night after 10pm and they said maintenance was working on some water heaters that affected my apt. It’s Saturday night, no previous notice!!! Since I moved here the pool has been green and dirty. There’s about 8 empty apartments around mine and people are still moving out. Can’t wait for my lease to be up so I can move out! Really bad customer service

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE IN THIS PLACE!!!WATER CHARGES (DEPENDING ON THE UNIT) IT IS ALWAYS $70-$90OVERALL -there are ants constantly in every room, even thought they claim they do pest control, since it is in a creek, the apartments are sloping towards it and there are cracks everywhere. the walls were at least 1/2 inch above the floor. some rooms over 1 inch the walls are separated from floor.KITCHEN - my Dishwasher was broken down when moved in asked for it to be replaced, still leaked, reviewed the repairs my self, DUCT TAPE is the solution for a worn down cracked pipe IT WAS STUPID NEVER DID THEY GET IT FIXED, said was fixed, for all the time i lived there i washed dishes by hand .KITCHEN - Refrigerator broke down after 2 months and all food went to waste.LIVING - Has a fireplace ($15 charge for gas) Never worked once, because gas never runs thru it anymoreBATHROOM - IF YOU WANT A NICE SHOWER, FORGET ABOUT IT....the regulator of the temperature does not work, they always said its the boiler, water either only came out extremely HOT or extremely COLD; went back and forward even if you left the water running and you have to get out of the shower. the water guards in the corners dont work it always floods and left with a puddle.the tub and the toilet, every renovation is doing a bad paint job were black spots are showingWINDOWS - Due to the walls are sloping down windows never fully close they leave a gap and when wind blows you feel the cold wind hitting you every time.AFTER END OF LEASE-They will charge you a $65 fee for carpet, regardless if you cleaned it or not- Just one stain in the sink they add $25 cleaning charge-They will backdate charge you for last 3 months you were living there even though you paid for electricity and water for those months, because they are adding the first month you move in.DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE MONEY...CANNOT STRETCH THIS OUT ENOUGH

This is a terrible complex to live at. I ended up with bedbugs while living there and they blamed it on my furniture. Then when I moved out they said I owed them a crapload of money. I still havent paid these despicable people. They are cheap for a reason.

They charged me $1800 when I left for cleaning fees and it was ridiculous. They charged to clean the carpet and then they charged to replace the carpet. We cleaned everything and they still charged us a ridiculous amount. Shame on you if you sign with these apartments
