They do not pick up their phone calls, do not return calls, and do not answer their buzzer even when you go to meet them in person. Ive called various numbers connected to them. No answer. Its so bad that I hope they are okay and safe.

Me and my family love living here thus far!!!! We feel very safe, and John with maintenance is awesome! He is always here working, and goes above and beyond with everything he does!!!!!

Very nice apartment building, but the management leaves a lot to be desired. Contacted them several times after I vacated and never got a response. I always paid on time. It wasn’t anything I did to warrant the lack of communication. Don’t expect top notch customer service because you won’t get it.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! The location is one of the best in San Antonio! Ive also never been treated so well by the manager of a complex. Its so nice to be treated like a human. I 100% recommend this place! Check it out!

I called to schedule a self-guided this past Friday, the front desk lady told me that I could come any time between 4-5pm to do the tour.I got to the maverick around 4:40pm to do my tour. I buzzed in on the outside intercom about 3 times and no one answered .I then called the leasing office, from my phone, 4 times over a 20 minute period, with no answer, before I eventually gave up and left.I never got a call back or text and feel like my time was completely wasted.

My year at Maverick was by far one of my fairest experiences ive had since moving to San Antonio! The convenient downtown location, spectacular view and modern living was something I wouldnt trade for the world. I absolutely loved having my favorite restaurants within walking distance!

There is simply nothing bad to say about the apartment. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful remodeled apartments, and they are constantly adding amenities to help make the most of living downtown. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone.

Management has been completely unreachable both on the phone and at the Maverick. A resident for around 4-5 months, I remember an instance when management was absent for 3 consecutive weekdays with zero notice. Since I’ve moved out, I have called and called again to have my security deposit returned to me after I was promised that I would be receiving the amount I full after move out. In the rare occasions, I do reach management over the phone, they’re incapable of providing me with any information about my deposit status Telling me that my files have been handed over to HQ and that an attempt to retrieve my documents would be made.Good luck getting in touch with them.

Living at the Maverick apartment is such a beautiful, wonderful experience, but a major part of the beauty here at the Maverick is our manager, Brittani is so personable, knowledgeable , professional, and she always greets you with her lovely ,beautiful smile.Thank you, Brittani for being such an amazing manager and wonderful personRev Luana

There is a new management now and theyve been very difficult to work with. Apartments dont have hot water in showers often. If there are any other problems, they say theyll fix it but you need to call them many times for results. I think it was really nice with old management but Id stay away with current situation.

Terrible. over priced. no parking. management is unreliable and unresponsive. money hungry. unfortunate experience. over a year later and we have yet to receive our deposit back.

My wife and I have lived here only a month and already we want to move into a 2 bedroom and stay forever. The building is amazing and the staff is pleasant. This place is a dream come true!

I had attempted to view an apartment at the maverick with Brittany who was the leasing agent i was working with. Brittany failed to show up twice and didnt contact me until a couple of days later apologizing for being sick. A phone call would have worked wonderfully as i was out now $24 for parking from missed appointments. Beautiful apartment, great location but based off my experience the staff is terrible. Get a new staff to match the apartment!

Had a one bedroom studio for 8 months. Enjoyed the experience of living downtown and the easy access to the area. Safety was my number one concern but I did not have a problem. There are two access points for entry, although sometimes only one or the other works. Noise was not as loud as I expected but that was because my window was facing the hotel and not the street. Loudest noise I heard was the trash pick up. Did not get noise from other units either.If youre getting a studio less than 300 square feet be aware youll have to consolidate and use good storage. However you are able to make it your own. The interior design does make it easy to have your place look very modern but with a vintage feel. The bathroom for me was where I needed additional storage, a rolling cart was my easiest fix.For parking I chose a cheaper further located flat lot, but that helped avoid downtown traffic.Utilities that are not usually listed are: HVAC, gas, and water are allocated by cost depending on your square footage. Your electricity bill for CPS will come in low, mine was usually around $20, but during the summer the HVAC price did increase due to use so youll see the cost there. They require renters insurance which you can get through them, and they also charge for a pest fee.Management while I was there was responsive but it honestly did slip up when there was a change around May. I cannot comment on maintenance repair because I didnt not need any.Ammenities are limited but I would recommend to use the lounge if youre hosting or want to go to a room thats bigger. I was able to use it for group gatherings and game nights. It will be louder because of the pizza place nearby. Near my move out the did distribute discount cards which was a nice bonus.My big tips would be: 1. Enjoy the location and how swanky the place is 2. Speak up if theres anything you need fixed 3. If youre having friends over take advantage of the citys Downtown Tuesday that offers free parking after 5pm in citiy parking, closest lots are Houston and Travis Garage 4. Download a ticket app and grab cheap last minute tickets to venues nearby 5. When moving in and out, be aware of the alley and have someone keep an eye out on the moving van/truck/etc in case it needs to be moved.

Excellent building and location. Not-so-good admin. Spent New Years’ Eve Weekend under freezing conditions. As I write this review, we’ve been 14 hrs without AC. Hope this 4th of July doesn’t become a Déjà Vu.Update: AC was back on after a full day and a half. Regardless, I must say the brand new manager Ms. Martinez was always available to answer our calls during the whole process and was very helpful in working out a solution. Had she been the manager back in December, maybe things would have been different. Very professional.Additional Update (Note: Comments above where written on 7/18. The following is from today 9/5/19): Its been five months since I moved in May 2019. The new manager has not responded my multiple emails requesting reimbursement of my deposit. Dont take me wrong, it is still a good place to live. Only be prepared for this type of nuisances.

I am a former resident of Maverick, and though the building and location are superb, I found management unreliable and uncooperative. Throughout my 8 month term, I continually faced obstacles with Maverick management, whether it be unresponsiveness or lack of empathy. My roommate and I underwent days without hot water or proper AC, with no explanation and little recovery effort (i.e. no compensation on water bill, though we showered in icy temps). Additionally, we have yet to receive our security deposit 3 months after moving out, after multiple calls, emails, and attempts at communication. Management’s voicemail inbox is full, texts left un-responded to, and emails paid no attention. I eventually made the physical trip to the buildings office, and asked why management has been withholding our deposit (come to find out - the property underwent a change in ownership, and they had no record of our financial payments..which went unnoticed until I brought attention to it). The renovations are amazing, and the location unbeatable...but beware of the difficulties faced by management.
