Organized and set up like all other Petsmarts. Clean store. Found it strange that the fish tanks had caution tape with a sign preventing customers to get close to the fish. The cashier was super nice. I’ll come back for the convenience of the location.

Was going to give this place 5 stars based off of an interaction that I had with one of the employees. She was very helpful and kind. However, I made the mistake of returning thinking Id get the same kind of treatment and had the misfortune of running into the hag AKA ,the older blonde lady, so many other reviews on here mention. Shes just straight up condescending and rude for no reason. She walked away mid conversation after giving me dirty looks and replying to my questions with you can do whatever you want, I guess. I later realized that she actually did me a favor by doing so because she seems like a miserable person to be around. If shes the manager she should do Petsmart a favor and fire herself because shes tainting everyone elses hard work with her attitude. Judging by the other reviews, seems like shes been a continuous problem for years and yet shes still there. God knows why.

Not the best organized. I always have to move around pallets of products to be put on the shelves.

This review is in regards to the PetSmart at Canyon Rim, SLC, UT. I had a grooming appointment for more than a month. Approximately two weeks before the scheduled appointment, I received a call from a grooming associate informing me Totos appointment would be canceled because they didnt have enough groomers. When I told her Id been waiting for more than a month, she said something along the lines of you can call a different store. She then hung up w/out further explanation. RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and absolutely zero customer service was provided. PERIOD. I had a $36 credit I had to use. It has been used, and I will NEVER step inside a PetSmart again. I understand it is hard for employers to find people to work, but the way this was handled was completely unacceptable. The associate was unprofessional and did nothing to diffuse the situation. I have since found a professional grooming salon and will be taking my pet there.

They dont seem to ever have what were looking for they dont have a big variety and what they do have is very expensive.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. I was extremely anxious when I was walking in because this time I came with my new 10 week old puppy, I was greeted almost instantly by a manager named Wendy. I was asked if I needed any help to which I said no which was a complete lie. After walking around lost Wendy met back up with me and I caved and asked for advice on toys, grooming, and other miscellaneous puppy questions. Wendy was extremely knowledgeable about the products and services they had to offer and helped me find everything I needed.Checking out I was able to chat with Mark who had helped me a few days prior(before) I got my puppy. He remembered about my puppy and gave me great service and treated her sweetly.Guy, another manager came over and had kind words to say and told me about a vegan treat which Im excited for my pup to try again.I was so impressed by the customer service that I signed on to get a membership which took no time at all. 10/10 will be coming back for more products and possibly grooming.

Customer service by SUSAN was Horrible. I asked a question at check out and her response was “doordash should know this, I have a long line to get to” even though there was only one person behind me. I looked for help for 10min before asking her. She then told me I should know how to find these things and when I asked if anyone else there could help me she said “if someone is back there they can help you if not you just have to find it for your self” the. Proceeded to brush me aside.Been doing this for a long time and I have never had customer service that bad and that disrespectful

Their groomers dont care about the animals and said they have to shave my alaskan malamute! You cant shave the breed they insisted it. Had to take my dog and go to paw by paws. They now have my business!

Needed to buy dog food. Had my 3 year old with me. We both needed a restroom. After walking the whole store looking for restroom and employee found one. He ignored me because he was on a cell. Then found someone at fish. She said they dont have restroom for customers. I pointed to 3 year old and again said no public restroom. Left without buying anything since no restroom.

Some older lady was extremely rude!! She looked like the manager, at least thats the impression I got, I observed her with 2 other customers and then myself, and she had this look on her face as we each asked her our questions the look made me feel completely stupid!! Thats the vest way to describe it... as if we were retarded for having any questions at all, she also acted as if she was the queen of sheeba!!! I go to this store ALL THE TIME and Ive NEVER seen thus old women before until tonight but u could tell she had some sort of Authority anyways I hope she goes back to whatever store she came from bcux this petsmart was amazing the way it was b4 she showed up....

Gretchen, the aquarium master is by far the rudest, condescending and arrogant pet smart employee I’ve ever met.We went in to buy 2 fish with some knowledge of aquatic animals. We asked basic questions and she began patronizing us. We spent over 30 minutes looking for the proper tank for our new pet, unfortunately we left empty handed and extremely mad. She treated my boyfriend like garbage because he asked questions regarding the fish.SHE REFUSED TO SELL US FISH!After i explained we would be buying a tank with the purchase of the fish she said she didn’t feel comfortable and rolled her eyes at me as if I’m planning on frying them for dinner. Last time I checked I don’t think a goldfish doesn’t needs a 30 gallon tank.If she wouldn’t have had such a hostile personality I would have enjoyed my experience and gone home with fish.All of the other employees had a great attitude but she ruined it with her nasty personality.Thanks for the help Gretchen, you just lost 80 dollars in sales😂

The cashier went around the counter to pet my new puppy. It was okay, but I would have appreciated if he would have asked my permission to pet her first. We just adopted her and she hasnt had all her booster shots yet. I casually mentioned that to him while he was petting her, but he just continued to pet her. It also made a few comments that could come across as passive aggressive, but Im not 100% if he was initially trying to come off that way. He seam like a good woker. Just need to learn boundaries. Other then that the store was very clean.

Had to find someone to help us after clearly needing assistance for the fish just to be talked to with the most condescending and rude attitude I have ever experienced in a retail or pet store. Will not be returning to this location specifically because of aquarium master. I would have bought a larger tank if they had shown me where to look so I could compare prices but she couldnt have seemed more annoyed to talk to us so we left. Petsmart on 3300 s and 3300 e is amazing alternative! :)

We really like petsmart. Their grooming staff is friendly, efficient and get along well with our Jean-luc. The Banfield clinic is superb, they take care of our dog health issues and their rates are remarkable with no surprises. By contrast when we had to go to some hospitals for emergency treatment, we were taken advantage of by the administration of some bad medecine for arthritis. The dog got very sick, more visits, more recommendation of unneeded x-rays, and some operations that run into the thousands of dollars. We refused such outright theft. Weaned the dog from the delinquent medecine, stopped at Banfield who advised us to keep giving him the Omeprasole. He is well now when we were thinking about putting him down.Thank you Petsmart for saving our dog and not gouging my pocketbook.

Set an appointment online for Grooming a month out due to availability on the salons end. When I arrived not only were they late by 20 minutes but the groomer did not have the support she needed. She seemed completely overwhelmed and was frustrated I had booked online instead of calling she complained about the app not connecting to their system and then basically said she was too busy to get him in today. I get where she is coming from as I used to be a groomer but things could have been handled better. Will NOT be coming back and would recommend Never coming here.

The food is great and plentiful. When I asked to speak to the chef to compliment about the food, Timothy Murray was available immediately and was a pleasure to talk to. The host and server were friendly and also professional. I will go back.

Horrible customer service including the so called Managers.Do not let Sierra cut your pets hair. She doesnt care about our fur babies. Shes there just to have a job.I will never step foot into any Pet Smart ever again. Im so disappointed the way I was treated. One nail was not cut on my BFF feet and a terrible cut with a lady with a bad attitude. She needs to retrained.

This is one of those places where you love the store and its employees but wish the customers were different. Cant help if customers are jerks or not though.

I love taking my dog to the groomers.They are wonderful with her and care about her look and how I feel about her look. I do recommend tipping. They work really have and deserve the extra.

Would not recommend the grooming here. My dog came back with a cut on his nose that is now a scar and the hair won’t grow back. Completely ruined my dogs cute face.

Older blonde haired lady was rude and ignored me when I asked to use the bathroom, we were going to buy a Guinea pig and other items but not after that poor service. 20+ years in retail management and I would have never put up with an employee treating people that way.

Went to get an aquarium and fish. The workers there were knowledgeable and helpful. Telling us to set the tank up first and let it run. Then bringing a water sample to test and make sure it was good for the fish! All around wonderful experience. It was wonderful.

Went in to buy two fish and this red/orange hair girl that was there in the aquarium area kept trying to deny my purschase!Just because I didn’t buy an adequate tank for two goldfish right then and there.I told her they would go in a 5 gallon tank for now. I mean I just bought them for my Turtles lunch! Treated me really badly and was ignorant for no reason. Stated that I didn’t care for animals because they were going to die in such a small tank. Ok they are food for my turtle it’s call the Food Chain...Told her to worry about the dead goldfish floating in the tanks. On top of being judgey she had dropped some crickets earlier, such a great employee! 😂

I have always liked PetSmart. During different times Ive had different challenges and need a different items from crickets for a chameleon to Upper Grade dog food. They had it all. I love how they treat animals and the assistance that they gave me for things I needed that were specialty items. They took care of me 150%. If youre looking for the place for pretty much anything for your pet, PetSmart is it.

We like the store, and its employees are knowledgeable and friendly! One gave us a hint on how to get a good price on an item by liking it and setting up a notification when its on sale. They didnt carry too much Kaytee hamster 🐹 habitat accessories, preferring their own brand, though.

I found this petsmart to be a great stop. It has everything your pet friends could need, and theyre normally running sales. I picked up some dog treats, and was in and out of the store before my fluffy friends even knew I was gone!

Ive been coming here for years for a lot of my pet needs. They have mostly everything that I need. Limited selection of large dog clothes for my wire haired English Pointer but other than that this is an excellent shop.

My dogs feel very comfortable going into this store. There are clean up stations if they have accidents and the dogs are able to choose toys that they like due to the ground level options. I have a miniature daschund, so the accessibility is key as he tends to be picky with his toys. There isnt as much variety of actual pain relief for dogs, but there are a number of supplements for their joints.

Shelves not restocked with cat food I buy. Poor choices of most canned food. Very disappointed with empty shelves and not being restocked.

Its altogether a decent place, but too few checkstand were open causing a line that went to the back of the stores.

Was extremely busy when I went last. They have all sorts of cat litter but it would be nice if they carried some of the clumping kind in a plastic free container.

Terrible experience checking out today. Susan at the check out treated my mom and I so poorly and rudely that I asked for a manager. I regret dropping the f bomb but that’s how rude she was. Yvette -a manager was even ruder and didn’t care to hear what happened and even went as far as to say that corporate training does not require me to say sorry for your bad experience. Hannah -another manager was the only kind employee that tried to help. By that time I was so upset we walked out and left the items at the counter. We’re all stressed in this day and time. Be nice to your customers.

I love PetSmart. My groomer is Mlyssa. She does a great job on my two little terriers. Ruff gets growly and other groomers are intimidated by him. She said he didnt growl once with her, both times, but then growled at the person that was checking him over. She is the dog whisperer. Book a grooming with her. You will be so happy with her attention to detail.

They where very nice and had what I needed

This PetsMart was much superior to other Petsmarts I’ve visited. I had to replace and item that was broken when i purchased it in Orem but hadn’t realized the issue until I returned home. I was closer to this Petsmart when I noticed the issue, and when I talked to an employee about it they were willing and ready to help! They managed to find a replacement in the back for me and were kind the whole time. I’ve also taken my dog for grooming here, he loved it and came back smelling good and wearing a cute bandana!

Their grooming people are awesome and helpful..

Wanted to buy fish, but the fish are roped off, and no one to help as usual. WENT TO PETCO HADE A GREAT EXPERIENCE!

I went in there to look at the fish, but the whole area was blocked off. I couldnt get within ten feet of them. So I browse through the store. And needed to use the restroom. Too bad though, it was locked stating that only employees could use it. They have lost me as a customer for life.

The staff was all too willing to step up and help me with finding the right collar for my little Iris. Thank you.

First off they are so over priced its ridiculous. I ran back to see the price of the dog food and it was 5 dollars off if you are a member. So I asked the cashier to make me a member. And she told me to go to the back of the line. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I went to Walmart and saved an extra dollar off PetSmarts member price. The whole reason to go to Petsmart is for the experience with your pet. I refuse to pay outrageous prices to get treated poorly.

This petsmart was very clean, employees friendly and they had many animals for adoption and all seemed very well taken care of. I love checking out the different types of small animals and they were all in stock on the day I came. I would come back here to adopt a Furry friend :)

Great store to go splurge on your pet, but they have so much cool stuff its hard not to spend big money at, kind of like whole foods if you know what I mean...

We shop here for our bearded dragon and the usually have whatever we may need. The store is always well maintained so it’s clean and organized, fairly easy to navigate. This location also has a small vet type shop attached as well as a groomer. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is, the staff isn’t always the friendliest, prices can be steep and the quality on our bearded dragons food has gone down hill. I still would recommend these guys for your pets needs.
