Went here for about two years- loved it! Very professional, accommodating, and tech savvy. They can get pretty booked out though so make your appointments weeks in advance.

I went in for a free consultation, which was required multiple calls and very hard to get. They told me they would be in touch and they never got back to me. Considering how hard it was to get in initially, and given the emotional distress I had been in (third death of a loved one within a year) I didnt have the energy to try getting back in contact. They offer a sliding scale and a lot of the focus during the consult was around how much I could afford so I think they only cater to the wealthy. If you cant pay top dollar, dont waste your time.

They were excellent to work with and I would recommend them. They were one of the few places I could find that had experience with CBT-I. I dont know where I would be without their help. They were professional and caring during my entire time.

They ghosted me. I had an consultation on March 18th (right when the pandemic hit). They were very encouraging and I really thought they could help me. Unfortunately, I had to wait to schedule an intake appointment due to a family health emergency. I called to set up intake at the beginning of May, and have called multiple times over the past nearly 2 months; having left messages with a couple of people and one VM. After an ER visit, I emailed about getting an intake appointment and finally got a call from Ryan Chai, who was very apologetic and said hed make up for it and make sure I got in. That was June 4th and its June 24th...still no word from them. I understand the pandemic has led to an influx of patients seeking mental health services and maybe there was another reason they decided they didnt want to treat me, but to ghost someone who is already at their lowest point in life is really low, especially when youre supposed to be in the business of helping people. You could have been honest so I could have gotten on someone elses waiting list sooner.

Unfortunately their billing doesnt match up with their providers. My husband is a very forgetful person and he forgot to cancel an appointment. When he called they said 1 no show appointment would be covered at no charge. Then he got sick with pneumonia and forgot about his next appointment. We received a call from their billing telling us that both these visits would need to be paid for out of pocket at $170.00 each visit. We cant afford this and were using our benefits to pay for the visits in the first place. We were able to get 1 charge removed but the other they would not dismiss. I am very disappointed in their billing policies which is unfortunate because the therapist was so good at helping my husband. I would not recommend them for this reason. If their billing was as good as their providers I would feel differently. I can understand needing to have people cancel in a certain time frame but I feel like having someone miss such a small amount and being charged so much is ridiculous.

They have predatory billing practices that take them a week to adjust in any way. They tell you one thing about what is covered then change their minds when it is convenient for them and they can make money off of it. They refuse to refund a legitimate issue and now I am having to contact the authorities to file charges. If you are going to use them at least be aware of these types of issues beforehand.

Definitely recommend!A great company with great therapists. I had some trouble scheduling an appointment, originally, because I had a very specific therapist in mind that I wanted to see. But, the concept of matching a therapist to you based on your situation is very personal and I like the idea.Theyre very receptive to feedback on their processes. The offices are nice, everyone is professional, the waiting room has nice couches and drinks and theyre pretty flexible with schedules.

UCEBT is an amazing facility with caring staff and therapists. I spent over a year working with two different therapists and the great skills coaches were THE BEST! This place changed my life and I will certainly be returning if needed in the future! Karli is such a sweet, knowledgeable therapist and makes sure to keep her patients accountable to their own treatment which is a huge help after treatment for patients to take ownership individually. Also skills groups are filled with open minded, excepting people who really offer such wonderful insights during group. Definitely worth all the time and money I spent! I love you UCEBT!!!!

Dr. Ashley Greenwell is incredibly professional and a truly skilled clinician. She offers a rare mix of integrity, knowledge, warmth and ability to connect. Not many professionals have all of the above traits and I feel very lucky to know her.

I was told I could have a discounted rate because my mental health was keeping me from working. Then I was told I would be matched with a practitioner to meet my needs. So when it was someone who charged $100 a visit, that seemed like they felt I needed a psychologist, not a student. I used half of what my mom gave me when she died. That’s what I was living on. My therapist was brand new and didn’t seem to know how to help me. I dislocated and she just sat there saying I was scaring her and she didn’t know what to do. I would think a place like this should know how to help someone with panic. She said it’s my fault for not mentioning the thing about the money, although I did and had showed them my tax returns. So, i was out of options and ready to end everything because I was broke and feeling helpless. Out I money, and apparently even the most up to date treatment center can’t help me.

Dr Greenwell was my supervisor during my doctoral training several years ago. She is highly knowledgeable, professional, and has a keen sense of client and trainee needs. I highly recommmend her as a supervisor and psychologist (have done both for my current trainees and those looking for treatment!). She is a strong asset to the Psychology community and I am so excited about the work being done at this facility.

This was the most inappropriate mental health treatment I have ever received. They are supposedly trained in working with the most imstense cases of trauma and behavior, yet there was client abandonment for having too intense of trauma and behavior. Dont waste $150 for a session. There are numerous other facilities worth your time and money. If you are there for medication management, that is also not stable as the doctor will change your meds every week if they dont work.

When I am asked to refer a patient, family member, or friend for psychotherapy the first location that comes to mind is UCEBT and the first clinician is Dr. Greenwell. She provides the effective balance of professionalism, competence and compassion required for her patients to gain perspective and relief. I recommend her and UCEBT without hesitation.

Exceptional patient care and medication management. A leading provider of mental health services in my opinion.
