Place is a bit overpriced in comparison to Rancho, but there are some great things. Better service, you avoid the crowds, and there are things here I’ve never seen before in any other store. (From drinks, to food, to candy etc)

The food was nasty and it was cold and we told the lady and she just put it in the microwave the beans were expired and the raspado tasted like water also the lady was rude

I would give it a 5 if the workers were friendly, everytime I go cause its a good place , I dont get a hello a smile or nothing, not even when I check out, the lady just hands me the receipt without saying a word, it makes a difference when you just had a bad day.

Really good food, probably one of the best Mexican food in UT, most of the staff is really friendly and helpful except for the owners or at least the ones that seem to be the owners, the treat people as if they are doing you a favor and they have that attitude all across the board so they act the same at the register in the supermarket and at the restaurant.

Please all customers I have seen lots of price gouging from this store which is illegal if you see it report it to salt lake City police

Terrible. Everything is overpriced and if an item is selling more they raise up the prices. People in the kitchen are disrespectful with attitude the short lady (owner) and lady with curly hair have BIG attitude. People complain about the food giving people diarrhea and stomach problems. Never coming back here again.

Not what I was looking for but I would go here for sure if I was going to do some serious grilling! Lots of uncooked meat and authentic Mexican food. There is no deli, sandwich meat, sliced cheese or peanut butter. This is a great specialty place but just not what I wanted at the time. Some of the staff spoke really good english so dont be intimidated if you only speak english.

I should be putting a negative 10 star my girl and i went into this store to buy some candy and as she and I were looking at their candy an employee came up to her and said she looked like she was stuffing stuff in her pockets she was wearing a tank top and sweats with a flannel she took her flannel up showed them her tight wife beater tank turned around showed her back and hit her pants all that was completely empty she even walked up to the counter and asked if she needed to take her pants off no way was she trying to steal the big bag of candies she was looking at where would she had stuffed them none of them apologized for the false accusations she was so upset and I was as well.. We were the only 2 in the store at 9:30 at night we will never go there again these people should feel ashamed

I ordered a Carne Asada Plate and the meat was burnt and hard to cut. Once I told the lady that my food was burnt and hard to cut she got an attitude with me. I told her I didnt want it any more and didnt want to pay $10.00 for something I wasnt going to eat. She didnt want to issue a refund so I told her to bring me something else. She agreed; but after 30 min. of waiting for something I decided to leave. I could image what they were going to serve me after the attitude I got from her. If you wanting MEDIOCRE food and service thats the place to go. THEY ARE OVER PRICED AND HORRIBLE SERVICE!For that price I would rather go to Texas or Applebees where the customer does matter.

For folks who like real mexican, this is some of the most underrated mexican food in Salt Lake City. Incredible. Never been disappointed here; the two standout were pigs feet in a chile verde sauce and the tried and true carne asada. They of course grill the tortillas to order. All sorts of options. Yes, the place up the road that makes all that nice mole that was on TV is good but this is more authentic, real, better mexican food. Ambience is lacking, whatever . . . I dont care when I need my mexican fix. Only criticism is if they would let you grab a tall boy out of the cooler and have a beer with your meal. Alcohol would just put this place over the top. I love this place, would recommend it to anyone.

Sold me rotten fruit. Would not give me refund. Im right down the street from this guy, he will not get another dollar from me. No wonder hes been robbed so many times.

The taqueria is very dirty. The tables are not cleaned and the lady who charges had a very ugly attitude. They do pure bad faces. I will not go again. Very bad service.

If I like the food a little carito but good save well the only thing that I know they are just learning to grab order and understand but today only ordered 5 things that were two broth 2 quesadillas and a taco asada and were 30 dollars a reasonable price x 5 things but reciving everything just gave me the two broths and the two quesadilla the lady says that I do not charge the taco when I repeated my order in person as 3 times
