I have been using StoneHill for years for my Brokerage business. I run my group health, individual health and life insurance through them. I also use Spence Hebron for my Medicare Plans and find him to be very helpful and professional.

Jeff Bodin helped us with insurance, at first was super responsive and great at helping us. Once we had had coverage for over a year and needed to add our newborn into our policy, Jeff absolutely dropped the ball on adding him and made multiple excuses several times, after several attempts in contacting him, he later referred us to his son to help us fix the issue he made. His son later stopped replying to us and we had to resolve the issue on our own with no help from either Jeff or his son. The lack of professionalism was appalling and disappointing coming from someone we thought we could trust. Our son is now 9 months old and we just now got the issue resolved on our own. Now that the new open enrollment for 2021 coverage is starting, Jeff has brought it on himself to enroll us in coverage when we have informed him we no longer needed his assistance nor coverage from just 3 days ago. Clearly, he is no longer listening to our needs or concerns and hasnt for most of the year. To say we are disgruntled is an understatement! We trusted Jeff with assisting us and up until this year, he was able to efficiently do so, but now doesnt seem to understand what we need and that is NONE of his assistance in the health care process. We want NOTHING to do with Jeff Bodin or Stone Hill National. Please be aware of who you are trusting when it comes to health insurance because we have learned our lesson the hard and very distasteful way!

Since I have been introduced to Stone Hill, I have had nothing but the utmost support and courtesy from top management and other staff members. I feel that management have a hands-on approach to the agents in that they are involved with them regularly and make one feel that they are part of a team. They give confidence in the fact that one can approach them at any time for advice or for comment without being patronized. They have regular meetings every week to ensure that their team members are fully up-to-date with training or the latest knowledge of the insurance products in the market and changes in legislation. Top management attend these meetings, showing their commitment to their agents. The support staff are also extremely helpful and go out of their way to make you feel that you are an important part of the team. When we are not in the office, top management have often phoned me to find out how I am doing. They even go out with you to clients to help you improve your marketing skills. Outside of the regular weekly meetings, there are also smaller-group meetings, which may be formal or informal in which management try to address issues, more specifically, to different levels of skills within the company in order to be of benefit to their agents. One is free to make suggestions and ask questions freely.Over and above the work, they have arranged informal get-togethers such as movie showings, Top Golf, airguns at shooting ranges, fly fishing, and so forth. This shows their commitment, not only to the business side of things but to the personal interaction among team members. What more can top management do to make one at home in their company?

I came off of working for a large Medicare agency and needed a good broker where I could operate as an independent agent. Some of my associates recommended Stone Hill, and my experience has been great. Stone Hill has enabled me to add carriers. They give additional training and expert help to back me up. They provide continuing education. When carriers drop me, Stone Hill helps me get replacement carriers. And they feed me when I go to their offices. They also give me a broad association with people who can share their experiences with me.

As an independent agent I can put my business with any company I choose. I chose Stone Hill more than 15 years ago. I have worked in many different markets and they have been great in supporting me regardless of the market Ive been focused on.Friendly, knowledgeable people who go out of their way to support and help me with my business. When I need answers to difficult questions they know the answers or will find them for me. They save me a LOT of time and work.
