I engaged Senske Services to fix problems with my tree. Many small branches looked dead and hadn’t grown leaves. Ed Chatterton, Account Executive surveyed the tree and prescribed repair services for $1,750. A crew eventually showed up and did several hours trimming healthy branches, but wouldn’t address the dead-looking branches because they said it wasn’t part of the job they were being paid to do. Most of these branches were high in the tree and I suspect they either weren’t equipped, or had no desire, to climb high enough to trim these off. So I’m left with a tree that has exactly the same problems before they started work. And my wallet is $1,750 lighter. I wouldn’t recommend Senske Services for any serious tree repair work. Maybe they could figure out how to install a small Christmas tree in your house, but I wouldn’t bet on it.Heres an update (8/30/21):I was contacted by the branch manager, Chris Sakowski, a few days after this review was posted. We both confirmed that the specification for the job (and hence the contract) had been edited by the account executive AFTER I had signed it. Instructions to the crew had been added that restricted the scope of the work they were to perform. I agreed with the branch manager that they should re-assess the results and come up with some sort of rectification plan. I hadnt heard anything since until today when I was delivered a bill for $875, being the remaining balance for completing the job, minus the 50% deposit. No rectification attempts have been made. I still have a tree that looks worse than it did before they worked on it, and now they want paying for completion of work that they never completed. I have a call out to the branch manager. Well see what happens next.

Dead Branches still there, we said what we needed done to get rid of dead Branches and got a tree thinning. Ed wrote on the work paper something completely different.

So thanks for sending your tech to our house while we are under quarantine. Not only did your tech not wear a mask but he made maskless contact with 3 persons at my house whom all tested positive for covid-19 delta.... Better get your tech tested and call before you show next time to ensure safety guidelines are met.....

Disappointed prior customer. Used their services for pest control, yard care, and sprinkler repair.Technicians are great, but the company itself seems to disregard and ignore issues with service.

Third time this incompetent company has not shown up for their scheduled appointments and no call to tell me. Tec. randomly shows up to my house today when my appointment was Monday at 11am. Showed up at 1pm 3 days later on a Thursday. I guess my time and money that I have spent on my lawn during a drought could of been more well spent if I would use a reputable company. The tech told me his birthday was Monday and he decided to take the day off. Congratulations your a year older kid but my yard is now dead thanks to your birthday. Grow up.

I had them come out to repair my sprinklers. It has been going on for 6 weeks and it is still not complete. When I call, I do not get a response back or they’re another 2 weeks before they come back out. The technician has been very nice, but I want the job done.

Spraying trees in the pouring rain this morning. Highly unethical as the spray just washes off and doesn’t kill the target pests. Highly illegal as the spray washes off (instead of drying in place) and ends up in storm water.You should be ashamed of this unprofessional work that makes our industry have a bad reputation as “polluting” and “not effective.”Greedy to just go out and get your route finished no matter the weather. Very poor business practices.

Their sales people ignore no soliciting signs and then harass whoever is home.

We have been using Senske for a long time and they always take care of all of our pest control and weed problems. Richard Coffman is by far the best tech from any pest control company hands down. Not only does he do great work but he also takes great pride in customer service going above and beyond anything you would ever expect. Richard has personally won my loyalty to Senske and the companies great hard working employees!!! Keep up the great work Richard and thank you to Senske for their wonderful service.

This company gives terrible service and is terrible to work with.

One year they did great for us! This year we didn’t see the weeds or the dandelions die so we called. They were nice and said they would come back and they did. We watched out the window and they didn’t go into our back yard even the second time we called but said they did? So today they came back and I watched again and this younger guy maybe spent 15 seconds spinning the fertilizer - I’m not sure where the disconnect is? If they spray the stuff it works but I guess they don’t like going into the back yard?

Dominick is our Senske yard care professional. He is thorough and pays attention to detail while treating our lawn, trees and shrubs. We are very pleased with the care taken with our yard. Our landscaping has never looked healthier.

I have had the pleasure of working with Sarah in the SLC office on a few occasions and what a professional. She follows up when needed and always came through as promised. I was very impressed with her level of service I have decided to try out the pest control service and it seems to be working well! If anyone in the valley is looking for service I would definitely recommend working with her for service as you will not be disappointed! My lawn looks great!

Richard Coffman did our spider control Tuesday. He is a very friendlyexcellent technician. Did a very good job and explained about our service. Gave some excellent advice. I hope that he will be able to come again in the fall when we do the spider control again. Thanksagain for the great service.

Very professional! Text reminders for appointment the day before. I have always been able to call to schedule a specific time frame. Primarily preventative and haven’t had any issues. Great technicians and wonderful customer service.

Kept coming over and spraying for five minutes in one spot and then leaving they didn’t do my backyard but I kept getting charged over and over again. This place is very shady the first year was good after that it got really bad. Very corrupt stay away

I have been a customer with Sensky lawn service for several years. But you never know when things can go south. Just be careful. They are NOT the top rated lawn company out there. On April 3, we had service done to our lawn, as we typically do each year. However it soon became apparent that a large patch of lawn was severely burned. So much so, that to this day, it is the worst part of our lawn’s view. When I informed the company about this, they came out and looked at it and said, “well it will grow back.“ And then they “graciously” said they wouldn’t charge us for that service. And they fertilized again. That was the last I heard from the company. And that was the extent of their customer service, even though this has been the worst experience of lawn fertilization that I have ever had. I wish I could add pictures here to show you the severity of this. At this point, more needs to be done on their part since the lawn is not “just growing back”: Sod replacement, landscape, or other discounted repatriation for destroying the lawn. I signed up for the service at the door with a salesman. After a miscommunication, I had the technician come back out and re-service. His name was Chris and he did a thorough job. He wasnt planning on spraying the doors and windows because it wasnt in the notes, but when I asked him to, he said, sure, no problem. Chris was kind and friendly and did a fine job.

Best lawn care company I have ever had. Not only do there lawn and weed treatments work but they come by between treatments to check on the lawn and will retreat as needed! Their customer service is top notch as well! I wouldn’t trust my lawn to anyone else!

This company is so great! They fixed the issues we were having and keep our grass nice and green! I recommend them for their lawn care and all the other things they do! They are phenomenal!

I called Senske to schedule pest control for my home. They were able to get someone out that same day! Our technician Chris Miller was very knowledgeable and did a Fantastic Job. It has been over a week since Chris sprayed and I am continuing to see dead bugs around the outside of my house. That means they are not coming inside..Yahoo! Thanks for the great customer service!

I had a Senske guy come out and spray our home in sandy Utah and he sprayed our window wells in our basement, but the window was open and he didn’t asked us to shut it before he sprayed!! He sprayed into threw the window and it went inside and on our food and my dogs food and all the food I was cooking, also it was on our fruit and bread that was sitting out and it got on me! I ran outside to ask him why would he spray on a window that he saw was opened? and I yelled to get his attention and all he did was yelled and was condescending, rude and threaten me and came at me as to hit me, when I told him to leave our property!! I called the manager and told him what happened and he dismiss anything I said and still has him working there!! I am not putting up with this again I will contact authorities and file chargers on the company and him. That manager ignored me and then to top it all off, a few weeks ago we called to schedule to have someone come out and she was going to sent him back to our home, REALLY? I’m done with you I am filing charges and I hope they get a hold of the owner of this business before my lawyer puts them out of business! I am not playing games anymore with this BS you should not be running this business when a customer has told you that one of your employees threaten them and acted hostile and condescending towards them!!!! People beware! do not use them they do not care about us customers and they do not do the job they say they do!!!!! This will go on all social media!! I give them a -0

Three year customer, and I gotta say the grass is truely greener over here! My lawn is so healthy, lush, and green! My only complaint is that it grows too fast! We have big dogs which can leave yellow spots in the lawn from their urine, but that’s never a worry for us anymore with Senske! Thank you!

We used Senske ‘s service to remove 7 trees from an investment property and we’re very pleased. Then we subscribed to their lawn care service this last year at our own home. The lawn has never looked so great! Such a deep, lush green. Don’t know why I thought I could do better for all those years.

I’ve been a customer with senske for awhile now. They always call 2 days ahead and then on the day of service the technician always calls and lets me know he’s on the way and explained what he will be using and doing. When he’s done he leaves the service bill on the door where I can find it. Great service!!

After trying to manage our dandelions on our own, we finally caved and got Senske. Our lawn looked much better after 2 treatments. They automatically recharge you after a year, but we agreed to that and they told us when we signed up that that was the case.I wish they would through in free aeration and I wish they would spray the cracks in the driveway too without extra cost.All in all, they are pretty good.

Derrick provided prompt service and replaced a sprinkler head. Keep in mind they do charge a $65 fee just to take a look.

*****SCAM***** dont start the service. Once you are a customer even a year after cancellation we are getting notices they are coming out the next day to spray. They send out the text at 5PM to claim they gave us notice, but they turn their phones off at 5PM so no way to tell them the account has been cancelled and from the calls they do not track this. But they are quick to demand payment on the cancelled services.

Their reps either cannot read or refuse to. I have a large no solicitation sign on my door and they still come by begging for sales. If they cant read a sign what makes them think Im going to buy anything?Disrespectful and unprofessional.

Great lawn care. Our front yard was covered in clover and viloets. Saw results after first treatment and in 2 months grass was healthy and stong. By the end of summer all the clover and violets were gone.

My technician is amazing! He always makes sure my animals don’t escape and leaves very detailed notes of problem areas in my lawn. I recently added pest control because I started to spiders in and around my shed and house. Since doing so, I haven’t seen a single one.Highly recommended.

This is the worst company to deal with. They cheat, they lie, they tell you something, but have you signed something else. They signed me up for a year, open an account for me without my consent. The customer service is terrible. If you trust these people make sure you verify whatever they are doing because theyre not honest people. They are all the same. Senske did an amazing job with our lawn. It went from spotty and brown to lush and green. The technician that serviced our lawn was so friendly and knowledgeable. All my questions were answered and they listened to my concerns. They left detailed notes with every service and if there was a problem i was unaware of, he brought it to my attention. This is an awesome service i will definitely be keeping and i recommend it to everyone!

I have had Senskes Lawn Care service for about a year now and I already see a huge difference! Chris normally takes care of my lawn and he is very attentive to any questions I may have. He always takes his time to make sure that every application to my lawn is precise to help green my lawn and reduce weeds. I also have quarterly pest control and Senske keeps my house spider and ant-free. I would highly suggest this company to anyone looking to help improve their lawn. I paid for this service for almost a year with no results. I, then, contacted customer service to cancel the service and was told that they would send someone out to assess the state of my yard. After several visits, I still noticed no noticeable improvement. When my bill arrived in the mail, I contacted customer service about it stating that I requested cancellation. I was informed to not pay the bill until the issue was resolved. After following those orders, I received another notice in the mail stating that I will be sent to collections for a non payment for the services. I called in once again and was told that a supervisor would contact me. 5 days passed and still no call. Called again and left a voicemail for a supervisor. When he contacted me back, he basically said that my lawn guy was the reason that my lawn wasnt looking better, so I will have to pay the bill. Just to be done with this pathetic company, I paid the bill and made sure that they cancelled my service this time. P.S. you may want to record your calls with them because they DO NOT record their calls, as advertised. They claimed that I probably talked to the headquarters and not them, as if I, the customer, care about that and it makes a difference. I highly advise against using these guys for anything. The 5 star reviews are probably planted by their employees.

We started using senske this year and they have been great. We are very impressed with their professionalism and the way they conduct business. We had a sprinkler break when they were aerating (we found it a few days later), they told us we would need to have one of their techs come out to inspect if it was caused by the aerating or not...I was not looking forward to that as most companies will be like oh yeah not our fault. But the tech came out, looked at it and was like it was our fault, we are sorry and fixed the sprinkler for us right then and there. Its a breath of fresh air to work with a company that is honest.

Think I had to put 1 Star. Terrible service, thought Id give it a chance this year. Way too expensive, paying for the people who sit at desks, not the joke of an employee who came to my house. Obviously knew nothing about lawns, just how to get as many jobs done in one day as possible. Thanks for teaching me that if I want a good looking lawn I have to do it myself.

I use their pest control and ever since they have been treating my house I havent seen sugar ants and see 1 spider every few months. There is a field behind my house so that is very incredible. Richard does an amazing job and I will continue my services through them since I havent been disappointed in the 3 years I have been using them!

If I could give these clowns a minus 5 stars I would. Worst service ever. Their billing dept knows nothing and they lie to get you under contract and then up your rates every 15 minutes. Horrible way to do business. Good bye forever Senske.

Daniel came out to get our sprinkler system up and running. He called before he came and was personable and professional. He corrected our control panel and then inspected each zone. He pointed out a few issues generally with the system and respected my decision to correct the issues myself. Id ask for Daniel again.

Very Satisfied! Daniel Paul was able to revive my dilapidated irrigation system, field all of my questions, and provide helpful advice as to care for my lawn. Service was prompt and efficient, and I would recommend to anyone looking to tune up their irrigation system. My lawn is now on the road to recovery, thank you.

Been getting service from Senske for years. Very impressed with their service and professionalism.

My experience with Senske was like a sigh of relief for my sprinkler care needs. One always worries if they will call someone who actually knows what they are doing and is competent enough to do the job. Daniel was very prompt and knowledgeable. He arrived, diagnosed the problems, fixed them without hesitation, and the results were great. I dont have to worry any longer about who I will call for any sprinkler repair jobs that I have; I will be calling Senske and ask for Daniel.

Overall dissatisfied. The lawn fertilization service was great, no complaints there. We also used them for tree pruning/shaping, pest control and a single sprinkler repair. the pest control was $130 semiannually, and no complaints there other than the high price (a lot of places do it for $70). The pruning and shaping was $1000 for 5 trees. SUPER overpriced, although they did a great job. The sprinkler repair was a joke. They came to repair and quoted it to be $275 to fix one sprinkler. Unfortunately we agreed (as they made it sound more serious then it was). After he was done, he left us a note saying it was fixed and worked. I was excited to try them out, but when I turned them on they didnt work. He came back and said it was going to be $300 more to fix it. Obviously didnt agree to that. I called up my friend who knows sprinklers and he came, said the guy basically did nothing and he fixed it in 15 minutes. He said I shouldnt have been charged more than $50. When I called Senske to complain, not only did they do nothing, but they acted like I was lying and it was my fault. Never working with them again.

Just had my first visit for pest control. I want to express my satisfaction with Richard Coffman - a tech who does his service with great interest and skill. He goes the extra mile to make sure it is done right.So far Senske is a reliable and efficient yard service provider. The one negative is the over-seeding program. I have had it done twice with limited results - and zero results for the bare spots in my lawn. It would seem appropriate for some type of soil cover added to the bare spots, otherwise the seed just washes away!

Sales person was super informative, techs were helpful, and customer service has been kind when I’ve called in. Would recommend over other companies.

Their customer service is horrible I used them last year and have the same problems Im having this year. The salesperson reassured me that things would be better and they are doing exactly the same things. They show up when I dont even make appointments and when I do make an appointment they do not show up. I will absolutely never use them again and I would never recommend them to anybody.

The ordering process was easy and the CSR was friendly and helpful. I choose Senske simply because they responded to negative feedback and show a great deal of concern for their customer, in making sure they work to solve their issues and managing their expectation. I am excited not be that guy and his crappy yard on my street this year and in the years to come.

Had another great experience. They came out and gave me an estimate on moving our sprinkler line since were putting in a new deck. He knew his stuff. We will be calling Senske back to complete the job once we get the existing deck removed.

Ive had Senske work on my sprinkler system twice this year. Both times the guy they sent, Daniel, was excellent. He clearly explained everything and he was a hard worker who finished his work quickly.

I am giving 1 star because its making me give them something. I called 10 days ago and spent 30 minutes on the phone just setting up a day for an estimate They said it would be about 10 days out to have someone come out and look at the yard. We have a zeroscaped yard. All we wanted was someone to come, clean up the weeds, trim the shrubs, and clean out 3 flower beds -- all of which they said they could do. Fast forward to the estimate day. I left work early and came home to meet the guy. He was in shock that we would ask to have a flower bed emptied and weeds pulled. I was shocked because, well, its a landscape company and that was specifically verified in the original phone call. They called back the next day with a NINE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN DOLLAR estimate. I repeat, 915.00. I couldnt believe it. Our yard is NOT big. Its mostly all patio and mulch. I seriously am speechless. I highly recommend you do not work with them. They are not timely and outrageously expensive. Now, we are almost 2 weeks behind schedule and have to look elsewhere.

We had yellow jacket bees nesting under a concrete step. We tried to kill them and we couldnt. We couldnt go in our front door without getting attacked. Senske got rid of them for us. No more problems.

Poor customer service. technicians promise schedule but fail to show. make sure you get schedule from office. called to complain, could not reach supervisor. no follow up from them. Finally they did do the work estimated, after firing the first tech. The second tech verbally states that the first was responsible for the system not working and he could not fix the problem. 6 weeks later they say system is good except for some new problems. When I check multiple zones are not working and they want another estimate to fix but if system was working before their work it should still work afterwards. No responsibility. i would not recommend them and I will not use them again.

Technicians and Scheduling are never on the same page. That or the technicians just do what ever they want and show up when they want. I would tell them to show up at 4pm they would show up at 1pm and leave a note or voicemail saying they missed us. This company could care less about their customers once they are under contract. I do not suggest that anyone use them.

Terrible customer service and overpriced. I had a technician tell me that he could get me a lower price on my lawn service. When I received my bill it was a higher price than quoted. I called the main office 3 different times. Each time I was told that someone would call me back and they never did. When I was finally able to speak to someone they refused to lower my price, forced me to pay the higher price, and continued to claim that they had exception customer service. I cancelled my service and never plan on going back.

They sometimes miss coming out. The product they spray isnt that great from what i have been seeing at multiple properties it doesnt work that well as far as i can tell. This is all my opinion besides the missed appointments.

HORRIBLE COMPANY! After several attempts to cancel due to terrible services/no change in my lawn/gardens, I was harrassed for nearly a YEAR to collect fees AFTER my numerous emails and calls in which I was promised someone would return my calls and then I was billed yet AGAIN! Then these guys sent me to a collection agency! I have had perfect credit and pay all my bills on time! I always try to give these local companies the benefit of the doubt, but these guys are crooks! DO NOT USE or you will deeply regret it!

The tech was nice, but product wasnt good. I am a CFO by trade, and invest in multiple businesses. I wont be surprised if this company is out of business sooner than later. I used them for a year, and my lawn looked better when I did it myself! Then when I called to complain, and tell them I would split the difference, they not only refused, but sent me to collections that week! lol. I paid their bill, but THEY WOULD NOT WORK WITH ME AFTER I ASKED FOR A RESPONSE. I sent a video of what their product was doing to my lawn, and no one cared. They were not helpful on the phone the time I called them either.
