Im disappointed and ashamed of an agency that allows the petroleum & mining companies to do as they please, not only making the air poisonous for us & our families, but detrimentally deadly for generations to come. You might say its some other agency, department, or legislative bodys fault, but we all deserve for you to fight for what is right & ignore the money trail of corruption. Please do better.

The 5 stars is for the work if the Utah department of air quality, not Salt Lake valleys air quaility. You guys fo a great job reporting on Utahs air quaility. I do wish you would report the air quality at each monitoring station

People leaving reviews like these people are legitimately responsible for the terrible air quality. LOL. Vote, participate in climate action groups, lobby, and recruit like-minded voters. Don’t be silly.

Your mission is to ...safeguard human health and quality of life by protecting and enhancing the environment. WHAT A JOKE!!! The air in the valley is absolutely horrendous. Straight Fs across the board.

Legitimately contemplating moving so that my children can breathe actual air. Shouldnt be this way. Lets make public transit viable and maybe get large manufacturing/mining facilities to stop dumping pollutants into the air and see how it goes... Just a thought.

For some reason the website only advises drivers on how to better the air quality. I thought perhaps they could focus more on the industries that are spewing pollutants into our air daily. How about regulate/shut them down during days of bad air quality. Would love to not have to chew my air.

Im really wondering just how accurate and/or truthful the readings are, considering on most days I can SEE THE AIR, EVEN AT NIGHT, and yet the reports ALWAYS say the air quality is GOOD. Excuse me while I hack up a lung while breathing all this good air.

The air is detrimental to my health all year round. I take great care of my health and shouldnt have to feel like I smoke a pack of cigarettes every day. Going to get out of Utah asap.

Absolutely wonderful. A daily dose of all of your most essential heavy metal contaminants in 1 breath. On some days the smog cloud is so acridly thick it feels like a Hollywood movie. 10 out of 10 would definitely want to breath this air again...

Get proactive! Allow only even number license plate to operate on even numbered days. If people must be forced into ride sharing and commuting so be it. All the monitoring and warnings mean nothing. Knowledge without action is...worthless.

I have to laugh at all the people that complain about the air as if its the Utah Division of Air Qualitys fault. My major complaint is that the UDAQ tends to portray the air quality worse than it actually seems. And the forecast is always worse than it actually is. Therefore I look at it as a crying wolf fear tactic. I find my eyes and nose telling me more of what is going on and their data as a back up to what I can already tell is going on.

Ive lived in multiple states at varying altitudes...and Utah air quality is definitely unhealthy 80% of the time. The state says theyre working on developing solutions. How many people have to die or have breathing disorders or medical issues, due to the fact that the state doesnt care about the health of their residents. If you want people to thrive in Utah, you need to provide essential items....one such thing is fresh oxygen.

Absolutely atrocious if you live anywhere in the populated valleys (including Cache Valley) year-round and getting worse every year. Daily air quality alerts, common to have advisories to not exercise EVEN INDOORS because itll increase the amount of pollution you breath. If you live in the mountains (not Cache Valley) or down south (St. George) its just fine.

Impose affordable electric cars, shut down working factories or move them someplace safer. I cough mucus every morning and feel the unhealthy metallic taste of the dirty air in my mouth, chest hurts etc. I know have bronchitis in fact. People literally move because of the air quality. NOTHING is being done.

Wanted to give 5 stars but couldnt bring myself to with the current state of update 17.12 . Heard a rumor in the patch notes that residential players are going to be getting a nerf on their life expectancy. sad. Hoping Higher level players will use their extra in game currency to help.

Please resign (all of you) so that people who can actually do the job would occupy the positions and thus save us all before we pass away from all sorts of breathing complications or cancers. Thank you.
