In regards as to that which constitutes a higher standard of quality, I have no doubt that Jonathan (and son) have great artistic vision coupled with the proficiency and foresight requisite in any experienced and qualified mason of the trade and even more so when viewed in contrast to those working in the valley (of far lesser quality) and in relative respect; however, insofar as pertains to diplomacy and deportment, the presumption of employment upon (or before acquaintance) need be absolved by abstention from such course of action in future prospect in that through the expatiation thereof concerning such matters of appropriate conduct it is found in equal and proportionate measure in both parties (employee and employer); moreover, let it be duly noted and reasonably exemplified in the professional of refined learning that such diplomacy be an essential facet of propriety for the granite mason. On a separate note, and as the mason of experience and advanced learning, it would not serve to assume another may supersede (or perhaps circumvent) such learning by the employment of someone less fit; furthermore, and as example, that that device engineered for the carpenter (in likewise manner) should not itself be superseded, but should through circumspection be adhered to as that which was designed with the end in mind for serving that of the carpenter first and may not with similar expedience serve the mason and should only be employed in the means for such an end and not otherwise.

Jonathan has done all the granite work on my last 2 homes and we are planning a 3rd. He is so creative and does an incredible job helping me through ideas...he even comes when he says he will!

Quote was comparable, but the quality of work and the service was awful. I was quoted for granite counters and backsplash. What I received was:-poorly fitted counters (window molding was removed, resulting in drywall damage and a gap between the wall and counter, and no accountability for the gap or drywall damage)-unsealed counters (condensation left rings in my granite, also never remedied)-no backsplash (or refund)-rude service and finally, no responses at all after a month of mostly one-way emails to Jonathan MetcalfeThis was part of a spring remodel to sell our home during the busy summer real estate market. I was told that the granite we picked (thee most common, standard color, grade granite) was not entirely available and wed have to wait while more was located. I ended up shopping for this granite myself to get the job done.Terrible.
