Randomly stumbled upon it while walking around Gateway. The signs very intriguing enough that we went in to see what it was. Less than a minute later we had our tickets and dived into fun and beautiful experience. The instalments are all different and each room varied. Some are very enchanting, some are strange and wonderful. Its way bigger on the inside. Bring your camera to take lots of pictures. We enjoyed the experience very much. Will be recommending to our friends 😃👍

Awesome interactive art attraction. It is made entirely from recycled and upcycled materials. It is a self guided walk through of 20 rooms. Each with its own theme all relating to dreams. There is a central story like to follow through each room. You are encouraged to touch and feel all pieces of the exhibit. There are several rooms that allow you to leave your own contribution.

My favorite exhibit in Salt Lake, wow! Not what I expected, I was pleasantly surprised. I was in there for quite some time, could have been in there all day! You can take as many pictures as you want, and youll want to. Each room is unlike anything I have seen before. Most things were interactive, which was a bonus.

Discovered this place by accident and fell in love with everything about it. The art is beautiful and it is such an awesome experience. We loved every room we went into and had so much fun noticing the all the little details. Also, the staff is so nice and helpful, and made us feel so welcome when we had no idea what it was at first. I would definitely say if you are in the area this is a must!

It was ok.Im glad I got my entrance here with the Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass. Its got some neat areas but overall its pretty underwhelming. Pricey for what it is, I feel like its mostly due to location. For little kids, it was a bit creepy. Everything is recycled and repurposed. Its a one time visit kinda place. We were there less than hour.

The cutest little hidden gem I’ve seen a while. A little pricey, to me, but the money is going to a great cause and you’ll get a unique experience. Kid friendly, adult friendly, lol opportunity for plenty of dope pics! I visit a lot of museums & the concept behind this is super creative, I could spend all day in there. The staff was extremely friendly, they took COVID precautions, and it was overall a wonderful experience. Must visit if you love abstract art!

Such a fun and immersive experience. Plus, its a great way to support local artists! Its accessible for this with mobility concerns. If you have a very tactile child, I think theyd love it. A few rooms may be a bit overwhelming with flashing lights, but its not overly loud or anything. You can also touch things and its very interactive. (With covid, theres plenty of hand sanitizer, but you can enjoy touch free and get the full experience)I cant recommend enough. A great way to spend an hour or so. Theres also a lot of photo opportunities, if youre into that.

Id say the rooms had 8 nightmares and 1 dream. I personally was not a fan. I dont think this experience is for all ages. We took our 2 year old and it said low light and sounds be wary for the sensory sensitive but it didnt say anything about creepy creatures your kid would be afraid of. We spent less than an hour here. Not worth your time or money. Probably a much longer experience if youre high.

Dreamscapes is a once in a life time place. After you go once, you wont have to go again... until they change it. I liken it to an escape room in that aspect. But in this case it is art styles in all various styles. For the cost, I wish it wouldve been longer, especially the mirrors maze. The added touch of each customer actually adding to the exhibit was nice, giving patrons a chance to leave part of themselves in the place for others to see. A lot stuff lit up by lights in various ways would be hard to handle for people with sensory issues. The tunnel can make even a person with no sensory issues feel sick to their stomach while walking through it; there is a 20 second delay where it is lit up to wall through with no issues if you just wait. Overall, it was a good time on a Saturday, but it isnt like you will spend it entirely here. 30 minutes at the most if you walk slowly checking out the artistic styles throughout. 15 minutes if you have kids who think it is a race.

This is not a family friendly, or child friendly installation. I specifically asked about bringing in a toddler before buying tickets, and was reassured that it was totally fine. Cue walking in with our group, and there is a piano installation right in front of my toddlers face. She wants to go touch it. Shes barely touching it and making any noise, and the employee doing her little introduction on art asks Uhm, can we not do that right now!? And I just couldnt believe it. My toddler is autistic and loves music and pianos, we are students and dropped $30 on this thing. If you have perfectly behaved children maybe this will be for you. Otherwise, dont take children or toddlers here. We walked out with my daughter screaming.

As others have claimed, Dreamscapes is one of those once-in-a-lifetime places: once you go once, youll NEVER want to go again. This place made me question if I was on acid. The rooms were terrifying and nightmare-enducing, and as someone who has LITERALLY had firsthand experience with psychotic episodes, it was clear the artists were on one as well. This place is one we wont be able to block out of our memories for a VERY long time. $15/person and my sanity that Ill never be able to get back.

It was visually engaging, but I expected more interactive feautures such as things to touch or what the Dreamscapes booth from FanX had: a microphone that changes the colors of the lights around you when you speak in it. This immersive theater experience was very engaging and fun. Dreamscapes, is an intriguing journey exploring the obstacles that prevent us from achieving our potential and dreams. I was captivated by some of the ingenious and tantalizing art in this exhibit and was pulled in by the presentation. In one portion of the production I thought that the dancer wanted us to mimic her actions. So there I was following her lead when I realized (since we are socially distanced within the exhibit and the other three of our group of four were behind and to side of me) that no one else was. I was glad I did anyway, because it was more fulfilling to participate. I would encourage the producers and directors of such projects to integrate the audience whenever possible--after all it is immersive theater. Thanks!!
