Washer that I purchased made horrible grinding noise the very first time I used it. It said right on my receipt that I could exchange it, but when I tried to do that they were really rude. Finally I just demanded my money back. I was trying to follow their rules until they got insulting about it, then I was done following their rules. Its unacceptable to sell a machine that doesnt work and expect me to keep it.

I spoke with Aj and he explained my options and was very helpful. We scheduled a time that worked for me. Jay came out and fixed my washer in about 40 minutes. Friendly professional staff. Highly recommend!

These guys are great! I went to the store in Taylorsville off 3800 S Redwood Rd. My only problem is that store is hard to get a hold of. There isnt a phone number in Google. You have to call the downtown store to get their number. They have a lot of good options. It was clean and felt safe to approach (Ive been in some shady ones while hunting for a washer and dryer). The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. The prices are better or comparable to most. The installation was smooth. My heat element went out in my dryer within 2 weeks but they came and replaced it, no questions asked. They were in and out in 5 minutes! I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for used appliances.

The most unprofessional service I have ever received. DO NOT SELECT THIS COMANY. They diagnosed the wrong problem, quoted a wait time to order a part that I was able to locate in the local parts store immediately. They then asked me to order the part? And then no showed to the appointment to install it with no explanation. Unreliable and untrustworthy. There is a child that answers their phone line making it impossible to get help.

We had the best experience with ASU Appliance Sales & Repair. They were professional, friendly and went out of their way to make sure the repair on the dryer was done properly. This is a family owned business and we highly recommend them.

Worst experience ever! I bought a washer and dryer cash. Dryer needed to be electronic but I got a gas one (my mistake) when I came back to the store to see what we can do, they’re attitude was like “your problem” they wanted to charge twice ($100) for a delivery 1.5 miles away when they didn’t make it at the time they said they would and we had to wait for a whole day.They don’t help customer get a solution at all, you can loose money and time but they won’t.

These guys are great. They do a very good job with working with their customers, and addressing problems in a timely manner. Buying used is not a hassle free experience, but ASU Appliance does their best to make it easy, affordable, and stand by their product and service.

We bought a very nice, used washer and dryer. This is a small family owned business and the owners are VERY kind and helpful. They helped load everything into my truck and then when we left the dryer vent the delivered it to our house! We did have a slight issues once we got them home but they were very quick to respond and come out and repair it indicating the really stand by their warranty. Great local business to buy from! 5 stars for price & service.

My wife and I bought a washer and a dryer from ASU. Their was a fault that was hard to detect and they gave us another set which has been great with no problems! Great company!

My daughter bought a washer and dryer from this company. The washer flooded her laundry room the first time she used it. The company sent a repairman to repair the washer. After the repair, the washer flooded her laundry room again. The company replaced the washer. The replacement washer appeared to work properly for four uses. On the fifth use it did not properly spin the clothes. An independent repairman was called who charged my daughter $100 to tell her that the mechanism was worn out and would require $300 - $500 to repair and replace the worn out parts. The company had to know that they were selling a worn-out product. They refuse to refund the money my daughter spent for a piece of junk. Buy NEW and save yourself money. BBB was called and was not able to provide any relief.

Okay, they did great. They had a washer and dryer set that was perfect in size for my condo. It was way under what I would had expected to pay for a perfectly functioning washer and dryer, and they both worked fantastically.They delivered to my home, which was a distance from the store, they moved it to my garage for me, and they made sure the plug on the dryer was correct. I live on the third floor and they would had charged extra to move it up three flights of stairs which I get, so I didnt have them do that, but they said they would had done it for a reasonable fee, and then another fee to install it obviously. Keep that in mind when purchasing a washer and dryer, moving it up a ton of stairs and installing it will cost extra, but thats reasonable since it takes more labor and time to do that.Finally, I had a knocking issue on my dryer, they sent someone out the next day after I contacted them, they fixed it within 20 minutes, and they were off and now my dryer is drying great without any noise. That warranty they provide actually works people!If you want moderately used appliances for a great price, well ASU is your place.

Got an incredible price on a washer and dryer. Thought it was too good to be true. But they run great. I went in on a Saturday morning and they even delivered them that same day. Set them up and everything. They even removed my door and put it back on. Amazing service.

We just moved into our first home, and we were very stretched on cash and time, and he found just the right set for us in our budget. He also delivered them same day, and not only hooked them up, but made sure that everything worked properly, and went through how to use all the features. He also helped my best friend replace her dryer in a pinch and gave her a great deal. As if that wasnt enough he also gave us a 90 day warranty for our appliances. Excellent experience! I am very pleased to find this great local business. Our washing machine died and was going to be very expensive to repair. I decided to try a refurbished machine and looked up local used appliance stores. ASU had great reviews, so I tried them and Im very glad I did. They had great customer service- texted me photos and info about their washers, pulled one washer out from behind another so I could look at it in the store, and answered all my questions. I am especially happy with their drop off and pick up service. Its very reasonably priced. They brought my new washer and hauled my old one away. It wasnt that easy either- they had to get it from the basement and get it through a very narrow door. They hooked the new machine up for me and left it ready to go. I have had my washing machine for 3 weeks now and am very pleased. Its just what I wanted- a simple top loader. Cleans great and is working fine. I like that they have a 90 day warranty.Update June 2020: Our washing machine we bought here is still working fine!

I called about a broken dryer and was helped the same day. They came over after hours (8pm!) and quickly fixed my dryer for a very reasonable price. No hassle. I highly recommend this place.

Our freezer needed repair. Someone from another company tried to fix it some time ago but it never was right. Luis came same day.. He is nice, honest and fair. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it including the part for a super fair price. I will be keeping his phone number if I need anything else and recommending him to friends and family.

Alfredo and his wife are personable and they do a great job. The washer and dryer we bought were great. When we needed a repair during the 3 month warranty Alfredo came quickly and took care of everything. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

My compact washing machine stopped working and it was going to cost more to fix it rather than replace it. I stopped by the store and Alfredo was very friendly. They had the exact model I needed for two thirds of the cost at Lowes or Home Depot. Not only did they give me a good deal but they also took away my old washer for me. I would definitely recommend them!

My first washer lasted 3 years for cheap cheap! I recently had to buy another one, this one hasn’t been as good and needed some repairs but good for the price. I’m calling them today for a repair. We’ll see how it goes!

Absolutely terrible service. The lady promised to pick up our old dryer as we got a new one. I had refused the haul away service from the store because ASU said they wanted the dryer and not to give it away. Im waiting on the set day for them to show up, nobody turns up. I call her and no response. Finally I get a text saying, they decided they dont want it. I had to go deep it off in the junk yard myself later because of this.

Alfredo is a cool guy and very honest. When my dryer had some problems he came out and fixed it at no charge. He offers a 90 day warranty on all purchases and backs it up, better than any of the other used appliance places around.

The service from the owner is great. I bought a washer and dryer from ASU Appliances a couple weeks ago. The dryer had a problem so I called Alfredo and he came the next day to see what the problem was. He diagnosed the problem and since he did not have the part he came the next day to fix it. The 90 day warranty is excellent for used appliances. I would buy from them again.

If I could give these rip offs a negative review I would! When they finally arrived hours late to install my dryer they tried to charge me more to complete the install. I told him I had paid and it was even written on my reciept. I showed it to him but he still wanted 50.00 additional saying they miss wrote my receipt and I needed to pay him because he would have to go to Lowes and get parts, he would be missing time with his wife! I told him I wouldnt pay more and if he wasnt willing to abide by what they originally promised to take the dryer back, which also was a fight because he wanted to still charge me and not give a full refund. Then today Im supposed to get my refund and they say they mailed a check... Ya right! Unless you want lied to and ripped off stay away from this place!
