Best local journalism EVERRR. Can I just say I never used to be into anything other than the local magazines like city weekly? Which I still love by the way.Slug magazine is a non profit and the brains behind the beauty is Angela Brown & her awesome team. She also started the non profit you may have heard of fully supporting local artists, from musicians, to artisans, to free thinkers, local business owners, & more.
Ive been reading SLUG since 93 and they always have incredible, community-building content. Theyre my go-to for finding out whats happening and a valuable resource when seeking out new rad businesses to shop/eat/chill at. Go someplace cool and pick up a copy right now!
SLUG Magazine is one of the best local guides to Salt Lake City. If I am ever looking for something to do or somewhere to eat I snag a SLUG mag.SLUG also puts on amazing events for the community. So whether you are local or just visiting grab a SLUG Mag and youll be in the know about the SLC Scene!
The premier Utah publication for meaningful, community-based content about arts, entertainment and culture!
SLUG has not only been a major resource for my music and art interests but it also inspired me to start seeking out ways to immerse myself into the SLC community. I hope to watch it grow for years to come.
I always see a SLUG booth wherever I go- at the snow boarding & skateboarding events, and I can always count on being able to read their magazine whenever Im at any of the restaurants downtown. This is a great magazine for the local Salt Lake City DIY, music and extreme sports scene and theyre the first place I go to when I want to learn about the latest awesome band.
I never miss an issue! Top notch publication!
A world without SLUG / Angela Brown is grey and dreary. Quite incomplete.
Unique perspectives and a good read!

SLUG is the coolest!
