Great food but beware or market pricing, be sure to ask what the price is before ordering things with market price. I was quite surprised when I got my bill. Other than that amazing food and I would definitely go back.

Ive been looking for some delicious authentic Maryland Crab Cakes since Ive arrived, and Brew River delivered!! We started off with the shrimp appetizer, and it was well cooked and tasty. The Crab Cake dinner is absolutely delicious and is definitely worth the price for the quality. We also ordered the steak, which was also prepared very well! I would like to go back again before we leave, and I definitely recommend this place!

I found the restaurant to be really nice inside, but far too hot to sit outside, at least for now. I joined my co-workers for a night out and we all enjoyed everything we had. Appetizers, drinks, burgers, pasta and more. It is pricy, but the serving sizes and really big and youll be asking for a box later.

No, no, and absolutely not. My $60 meal was the worst crab Ive ever had and everything else was just plain tasting. My mixed drink tasted like cherry cough syrup. But my server Chelsea was so very sweet and helpful. So come for the service and stay for the.... beer 🤷‍♀️..

Boy is that shrimp salad sandwich with fries a satisfying lunch. My companions got the scallops and crab cake, chalk full of local crab with no filler. This is definitely the go-to spot in Salisbury.Our issue was with the seating arrangement. This is the second time we were told all outside tables were reserved and it would be a 45 minute wait, even though there were openings. Sadly we had to sit inside on a spectacular Sunday in April. The problem was nobody showed up to take those reservations during our entire lunch and many tables were left unoccupied. Id appreciate if the staff could be more forthcoming about the seating. Maybe youll have better luck at the outside bar.Otherwise the food was tasty and we had an enjoyable time.

Visited here twice over the last couple of months. The first time my friend and I sat on the deck and had appetizers and soup for lunch. Everything arrived hot and delicious. The Cream of Crab, was delicious, and if you go, definitely try the crab dip. It was a busy Saturday and it was our servers first day, but we never felt neglected. More recently I went back with another friend on a week day. Again we sat outside. We ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp which was wonderful. We both tried the fish of the day, which actually were several to choose from. We ordered Salmon blackened. It was delicious! We were too stuffed to order dessert, maybe next time, because there will be a next time.

Ok. Food was great. Mahi tacos and the egg rolls! But honestly. THE HASSLE TO ORDER A BEER!!! Dang manager came over and almost broke my dang Drivers License in half and accused me of it being fake. Just like the past 4 places on our journey… ARIZONA IDs HAVE RIDICULOUSLY LONG EXPIRATION DATES!!! He created a annoying line in my license and even looks like it may be cracked/damaged. Honestly, check other ways. Taking scissors to my license isn’t the $&@!ing way! Server was amazing btw, the manager can u know what.

Amazing scenery, very friendly staff, and delicious food. Some of the best mozzarella sticks in the area along with a delicious burger. Restaurant has a ton of outdoor and indoor seating so even on busier days it should be fine, enjoyable location as you can watch boats come and go from behind the restaurant.

Came here looking for a bite to each for lunch & YUM. We ordered the crab egg rolls and WOW, my husband talked about them for 2 days after LOL.We also ordered the wings and they were delicious, crispy & meaty. The prices were decent and the service was very attentive.Will most certainly be coming back here!

Went there for the first time and had a really nice experience. Food was excellent and the server was amazing and attentive. Really nice place to have an anniversary dinner or a special night out. The food is more on the pricey side as they deal with seafood, make sure you ask the market price of a dish so you arent surprised.

This place was directly across from the loft we were staying at over the Mad Hatter Cafe. Easy access for us since we just walked over but there is plenty of parking. American food of all kinds. I had an excellent burger but most of the menu is self explanatory. Familiar items. Service was good too and they have lots of tables inside and outside so my guess is they can get busy. We went early on a Saturday in summer and I think until college starts back the area can be the usual empty town here and there. Lots of food places in this same area but would definitely return.

Well I have to say this place is a gem ! Pulling up was skeptical but service and food great ! Felt very welcome here as a fort timer. Top notch would come back for sure. Prime rib sandwich and waffle fries. Crab soup amazing chicken sandwich bomb. No one in my friends wedding party left unhappy

What a perfect restaurant. The food is incredible. The staff courteous and knowledgeable about their food. Atmosphere excellent...eat in air conditioned inside, but we chose the beautiful rivers edge view.

Great food. Had the shrimp salad and was very fresh. Great brews on tap too. My friends had the ceaser crab cake salad, wings and crab balls.

We dined in on a Saturday evening. The service staff is friendly, but everyone from the hosts to the staff seemed absolutely disinterested, almost as if you where interrupting them. We were seated at a table that was visibly wet, (outdoor seating). This is understandable because it rained lightly earlier in the day, but the hostess just plopped the menus, including a paper desert menu right in a big puddle and walked away. We had to request that someone dry the table off for us.The restaurant wasnt anywhere near full, and the order for our 4-top was not especially complicated, consisting mostly of burgers and fries, with one seafood dish, but the food didnt all come at the same time. The salad was not cool, as if it had been left out on the counter, so the lettuce was a bit soft/wilted.One person in our group really enjoyed her drink, but everyone else didnt even finish their first drink.Overall the experience was JUUST good enough to squeak by, but it wasnt anywhere near impressive or delightful. So if your looking for attention to detail, or exceptional food... Keep looking.

If I could do 3.5 i would. Service was quick, kitchen disorganized. Ordered an app, soup and salad. Soup came first, then the app and salad came together.Out of oysters. Bacon wrapped scallops were smothered in a glaze, 🤮Cream of crab soup was amazing. Salad is HUGE, easily enough for 2 people.The orange crush was amazing

Really nice place. Service is good. Menu needs some work. No crab legs. Food was average. Sure you want nice ambience but the food is what you want to be known for and they miss the mark. If they improve whats coming out of the kitchen then its between 4 and 5 stars.

Its a good place to eat. My wife had the fish tacos and said they were the best ones she had all week, and thats going against fish tales, and lazy Liz. The bacon rapped Scallops were awesome. My tuna sandwich was ok, it was over cooked and tuna needs to be cooked but still being rare.My daughter had the bacon cheeseburger it was good. Overall a good experience here.

To start the restaurant itself is beautiful nice scenery and right by the water. I gave them a 2 star rating because of the service, food, and drinks. My mother ordered a glass of wine, but unfortunately they only sell by the bottle which upscale restaurants do. But this location is NOT an upscale establishment so Im confused on that. I ordered a rum and diet coke, it was all soda and hardly any rum. Later I ordered a few shooters a Gummy Bear (which was good) and 2 bombers. They both were served in plastic cups, the gummy bear was in a small cup(like you would get at the dentist office) and the 2 bombers were served in a regular 8 oz plastic cup. A shooter is shot, not a drink but apparently they didnt get the memo in regards to the bombers because thats exactly what it was a DRINK and I couldnt finish, I took one sip and said, NO. The food was so so nothing to jump up and down about. We ordered wings which were an okay side a lil bit bland for my liking and my father ordered chicken tenders and a crabcake entree. The tenders looked like they were straight out the freezer section and the crab cake wasnt even an 8 oz, it looked like a 4 oz and it marked at market price....NO SIR!!!! Our server was lovely, but unfortunately after she gave us our drinks and appetizers they pulled her to help a big party inside, which left us sitting outside wondering what happened until another waiter came and told us the situation. Which was kind of crazy when the restaurant wasnt even busy. Would I go back......no.

We love the deck, especially when they have good music, which they did. Our server was attentive and super nice; Marjorie. We will return.

I have been here several times for dinner but I wasnt happy with my meal tonight. I ordered the broiled seafood Medley and it was so salty from too much old bay seasoning and my husbands boardwalk fries were also salty. We mentioned these things to our waiter and she done nothing about it and she saidOh yes the seafood Medley does sometimes have too much old bay and that the Boardwalk fries are salty . I also ordered an orange crush and it tasted like orange juice. This was my worst meal that I have ever had at this establishment.

Had dinner here recently. It was a Saturday afternoon close to 5 p.m. Our server was new it seemed as he could not name a single beer available in draft. He directed us to get up and read the board. Not a good beginning. We understood the pricing on crab and were willing to pay $28.00. The crabcakes were good. We opted to pay an extra $2.50 for Boardwalk fries. The fries were cold, hard as rocks and inedible. It was obvious as soon as he set down the plate that they had been cooked hours before. They also bore no resemblance to Thrashers in any way shape or form. I should have sent them back. I didnt since I was enjoying the crabcake. Servers should be trained to observe the food on a plate before giving it to a patron. Anyone who eyeballed those fries would have immediately seen they were overcooked.

It was SO so good! Too much food to eat in one sitting, but man was it delicious. Wasnt overly crowded, our server was amazing. Couldnt have been happier.

A 5 for the service and atmosphere that made up for the food. I had a plentiful tropical salad- huge shrimp, pineapple and oranges on lettuce- which was good. My husband ordered walnut and bleu cheese salad which came with neither. The server was attentive and did what she could to make it right. Maybe salads arent the best choice for a place like this but the outdoor seating and service are the best reason to enjoy a dinner or lunch here - a happy vibe.

I came in the weekend with some family and friends of mine as we had been traveling from montana and I must say that the waitress we had was truely outstanding!! , she was so polite and she didn’t rush us when we ate , we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves . And we got our food when it was hot and we really appreciated it . We got to speak with her for a min and she had manners and made us feel like we were right at home .When we visit again we will certainly make it a point to come and eat and most of all make sure she is our waitress , Thank you (Kaylee) for the wonderful service you gave us ! The Service was horrible on my Moms birthday. The loaded hot potato came out cold, my drink taste like koolaid, oysters came out with no sides, waitress was making our experience very troubling so we wouldnt come back. I got tired of the games and requested the Manager. The Manager heard me out and discounted my bill. I hope that Brew River Restaurant gets organized in the future. If you dont like your job you should quit and dont play with my familys food! I came all the way from D.C..I should have went to Old Mill!

Food was great! Very clean restaurant, the service was the only downfall. Forgot quite a few things we had requested and they acted like they just didnt care, more concerned with hanging out behind the bar and socializing with other Co workers.

Waiter was awesome. Food was expensive and tasteless. String beans were just steamed string beans, nothing else no seasoning at all. Broiled fish once again no season at all. Ive had whiting fish taste better. Wifes fries tasted like they were boiled in grease rather then deep fried.Burger was tasteless. Is there a shortage on seasonings or something or does this place not believe in using them. The little salt and pepper packs in your little cup you set on the table dont count. Somebody needs to learn to cook.

This place is awesome, great views, really good food, great atmosphere outside. The bartender was our waiter due to the time we arrived and he was very good with customer service. There was not that many people when we arrived but the place was getting more packed as our early dinner progressed into drinks and conversation and then into late afternoon. The main meal (2 for 1 Crab cakes on Thursdays) was really good, BUT the Crab dip waffle fries were worth their weight in gold, they were amazing, a MUST have. We really enjoyed everything about this place and will be back for sure, although it might be a bit because we are not locals.

This place had an interesting atmosphere. Feels nautical, but not extremely so. Was disappointed that the menu did not have Maryland crab platter - it is in Maryland after all. It did have Alaskan crab legs though.When we arrived we were seated quickly but had quite a long wait until our waitress showed up.I opted for surf n turf - a 14oz ribeye and a 4oz lobster tail. The steak was a not seasoned, just grilled, so I put some seasoning in it that was at the table. That, confined with eating a piece of lobster & steak together, dipped in butter, was a delicious entree! I asked for green beans and coleslaw as sides, and they brought me a loaded baked potato instead of the beans... Thats just poor service, but I wasnt mad. Potato was good. Would try a different place next time I come to OCMD

The food and drinks were great but the bartenders were terrible! They never asked us what we wanted to drink or eat and we always had to go up to them to order. Just very inattentive and nonchalant; they were never rude but I just didn’t feel like I was an “important” customer. I could have served myself; that’s about how useful they were. The barback and food runner were way more helpful and attentive than the two bartenders.We’ll definitely go back but was not impressed by the service this time around- previous experiences have been way better.

We ordered take out on the Saturday night of SU graduation weekend. Order was ready in less that 30 minutes and the burgers were great.

The food was awesome n delicious.The waitress ( cant remember her name) was awesome, friendly, patient n helpful the family was 100%+ satisfied with her n her service.

Very disappointing. Called ahead by 10 minutes asking if there were seats outside by the dock. Told there were many. Arrived and was seated outside. Got menus and we are told the seats are reserved and we need to move. We were offered seats by the bar that were very loud. We settled on inside seating. Then on to appetizers. Well never mind now they are out of oysters. Steak was ordered medium rare. Arrived dry and well done. Our dog enjoyed it. Asked for butter for the lobster tail. Never got the butter. Ordered desserts to go and the were barely recognizable when we got home. $125 anniversary dinner. The whole experience sucked. The biggest letdown ?? The seats we were told were reserved were still empty when we left. Never again.

We decided to meet here after work one day for Happy Hour. Great happy hour prices on drinks and food. Fell in love woth the dreamsicle crush and fish tacos. The best thing of all was the crab pretzels.

Had lunch in here today. Was very happy with server and my food. Everything was really delicious. Great water view and deck. Probably would be really nice in warm weather. Had a crabcake sandwich, not in season in Maryland so I assume it was imported meat. It was seasons perfectly. The roll was not too breast, which is always a pet peeve of mine. Coleslaw was a little different of a mix and was on point.

I normally have great food and service here but my experience was awful Sunday the service was really slow, my food wasnt great and the bread was rock hard. I did ask to speak with the manager who informed me they were short staff hopefully I will have a better experience next time

Over priced for the okay quality of food. We were seated in the busiest part of the restaurant. Noisy atmosphere.

Many items in the menu are unavailable. Waitress stated they were changing the menu. Ordered medium rare steak got medium well. Entree brought out before appetizers could be finished. This seems to a problem for all restaurants Ive been to in last few months. That said it did come out before most places lately have been bringing appetizers and entrees out together or worse appetizers out in the middle of eating the entrees.

The view was good, the food just average. We dined in, and ordered the Easter special. It wasnt very busy, but the young waitress must have been new (slow to returntoour table). By the time our food came it was barely luke warm. Also, a young couple came in about 20 minutes after us, ordered the same special, was served before us, and was done before our desert came, and the waitress forgot what we ordered--I thought she was writing it all down!

I was there for a dinner party on 4/7. Things started off good and slowly went downhill. Our server/waitress disappeared. She didnt refill our drinks, it took forever to get our food, checks, and carryout containers. Lets just say it will be a long time before we visit again.

Friday April 30th 3pm came in with a party of 4 hostess was polite and sat us outside on the deck nice atmosphere but thats all i can say because after 25 minutes of not even being acknowledged we got up and left sorry brew river im not going to beg you to take my money currently sitting outside at market st inn ...and guess what within 5 minutes we had drinks and order was taken its a shame because was really looming forward to you food

Lets just say I will no longer patronize this establishment due to the online negativity by the mgmt or owner towards a community member that reports local emergency calls to the public.If posting a public records call for emergency service using this location as a reference for first responders generates this kind of response from Brew River, I will spend my money elsewhere. He/she should buy a dictionary and take a class in public relations.

Food had no taste... dishes were dirty, had a piece of what looked to be dead grass in my drink cup an the salad they gave me an my bf was on a saucer so I had to hold my salad on the plate while I ate it so it wouldn’t fall on the table. On Labor Day (september 7th), Labor day, myself and 4 friends had come into brew river for a drink. One of my friends has Cerebral Palsay which causes uncontrolled, shaky limbs. But fully functioning and can have a full conversation. Needs some help staying stable walking but that is it. At approximately 10:30 we decided that we would go to the outdoor bar as we had a good experience inside and the bartenders were accommodating, or so we originally thought.We got outside and we quickly noticed a man recording us and deciding to ignore it. The man said something to the bartender about my friend with CP that he is too drunk and should not be drinking... Because a stool fell over. Mean while I watched other visibly intoxicated multiple other patrons knocking drinks over, etc. My friend with CP shakes whether he is drunk OR NOT. That is what CP deals with. He had one drink inside and didnt even get to finish the second outside because the bartender told us we were causing a disturbance. Again, meanwhile other patrons are spilling drinks, twerking everywhere, hitting on girls that clearly want to be left alone and are being annoying, etc. At this point I told my friends to take my friend with CP to the car so I can have a conversation with this bartender about the situation. The bartender (short blonde) starts cursing and telling me to leave. Then the man who was originally recording us, comes over and pushes me as hard as he can and lifts me away from the bar. First he said he works there but when I pointed out he just assaulted me he started claiming he all of a sudden DOESNT work there. Your resturaunt & bar is filled with ableists and lack severe knowledge of how to treat patrons. As a business owner and head bartender where I am from, this is ABSURD to me. The bartender was screaming get out, im not serving you, youre too intoxicated meanwhile, she DID NOT ID us. When you are behind the bar, YOU are the boss. She didnt have to serve us, but she did. 10/10 recommend staying away from this place.

Kind of a disappointment when I had a family celebration ordered 8 ribeye steaks, with extra sides. 2 appetizers. Multiple mix drinks. As well as shots. When the food was delivered. We were shorted one of the steaks. Then told the kitchen was beginning to close and there was nothing that could be done about it. As a previous restaurant owner. This left a sad hate in the table. When you go to dine, and invest in locally owned establishments. You hope to receive a treatment that is above the rest.

We went here, to a supposed BREWERY, so my husband could get a good, local craft beer. They had none! Most of the beer selection was cheap stuff you buy at the local convenience store. The only real choice he had was a Dogfish Head on tap.The food was expensive and kust bad. My husbands ribeye was bland, with more fat than edible meat. It had no steak scent. The salad was unremarkable.My crab dip and soup were decent, with lots of crab meat. But how do you mess up peel and eat shrimp? They arrived totally dried up, tasteless and unappetizing. I ate one and had to send them back. Even the iced tea was sub-par.Our server Caroline was good and did the best she could serving mediocre food. The meal was a waste of money and literally left a bad taste in my mouth.

Food was amazing. Service was great especially for our large party.
