Good local shop for ski rentals and services. Didnt have much of a sale this year. Still good local option

Nice place, since its the only ski shop around, but its a bit pricey.

We bought some ski gear and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Their COVID awareness is on point and they keep everyone socially distanced and all staff and buyers are wearing masks at all times. Great spot! Would definitely go back in case we ever need more ski gear.

Great local ski shop! I went in to get my skis waxed and edges worked on and they had them ready the next day. The skis could have been ready sooner but they were busy which I take as a good sign considering the Covid economy. Kind, helpful staff

Ive bought a couple pairs of skis from this place and always like the vibe. Its got a very small mountain shop feel, but enough selection to get what you need. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I go here for all of my ski/snowboard needs!

Great customer service and knowledgeable technicians. I am picky with my skis tunes and usually go to shops in Tahoe such as Starthaus but I am glad I gave them a shot. I definitely recommend this spot and will come back.

This was our first time here and also the second time looking for snowboard gear.Morgan did an outstanding job helping our family. He helped with 3 boot fittings, helped with snowboards and bindings and did all that faster than when we went to REI. He is excellent at what he does and has great recommendations. Super friendly staff. I took my board in to get it waxed. Even when they were full, they still tries to accomodate me. I was able to get my board the next day!!

Very nice shop. The shop is a bit small, so you may not be able to find every specific brand and model, but they make the most of their space and I have never had trouble finding what I need. Their glove selection is extensive. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They do get very busy on the weekends, especially during the ski season, so be prepared to wait a bit. Nevertheless, the wait is worth it. The team takes all of their sales and recommendations very seriously, so if you are ever not happy with a fit or performance of a product, they will do everything possible to make it right. I have purchased multiple full sets of ski and snowboard gear from them and will continue to use them as my one-stop ski shopping destination.

Went with my girlfriend to get her skis to rent. She ended up buying skis, boots, and poles. The staff member was so nice and informative helping her get the right boots I ended up buying my own pair of boots. This place is definitely better than buying online. They give you the information and help necessary to find the right gear, which you cant get on Amazon or any other online store. And the prices were just as low.

Oldie and goodie. We dont have the quality ski shops around Sacto anymore and this is a great one. Excellent customer service and high end equipment with full technical work shop.

This shop has professionals! Most places you go to nowadays have lackluster employees who just want to punch in and punch out to get a check, this is not one of those places. The employees here all ski/snowboard and have a wealth of knowledge to lend to you as you decide what youd like to buy. I definitely recommend buying from here, it may cost a little bit extra but they will give you all you need in knowledge to get you right!

Have yet to buy gear here but I think I’ll be getting my next big ski purchase here. The people running this shop are insanely nice and took the time to walk through me a full potential backcountry set up. They explained everything and I never felt pressured into buying something or opting for the more expensive option. Will definitely be back here soon!

First time at this shop and it definitely wont be my last. I needed new ski boots and I was helped by Aiden. Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and really strived to find me the perfect boot within my budget. And most importantly, I was greeted immediately upon entering the store.

Had a great rental experience here. Nice base level skis kept in good shape for rental equipment and the staff is very nice and efficient. Went in a couple days ahead to reserve for the weekend and get measured, and everything was set and ready for me to pickup on Friday afternoon. Prices were also really competitive. Will definitely rent from here again!

Great old fashioned ski shop. Excellent selection of downhill equipment. Not sure about selection of boarding. X country selection is limited, but better than anywhere else in Sac except REI and Ive never joined. Nice rentals, both downhill and x country. The staff is friendly and service is outstanding.

Great prices and feels like you are supporting the locals! It was a busy day when I came in to rent and they ran a little slow, but my family had their full attention for our gear rental. So much better than renting gear at the slopes!

Had to get my girlfriends ski bindings mounted and they took care of it in the time window they originally quoted even though it was a week before the season began! Great ma and pop type store locally ran and the prices werent bad either. Definitely our go to store when needing something fixed or taken care of. Thanks guys for the great service!

Its easily the most convenient option for ski rentals if youre a Sacramentan considering a day trip to Tahoe, and its reasonably priced. They took their time to make sure the gear fit correctly though, which impressed me. I would definitely rent stuff from here again.

Okay, a pair of snowshoes we rented gave us problems. But they comped my daughter a pair and were very kind about it. Prices were good. Convenient location. Friendly and helpful!

Great place! Knowledgeable staff and competitive prices. Needed some wide all-mtn skis & bindings mounted. They gave me a great price (same $ as I could online at big-discount stores) and mounted bindings while I waited. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great local ski shop!

This is an unsolicited, positive review for Land Park Ski& Sports and a “thank you” as well.Searching for a pair of Goode skis on the net, I found them here at a very good price. After being unable to get the order placed on the net, I emailed them and got a reply back very quickly. I didn’t realize that they were closed for the summer! I called to place the order and Erik took time out of moving equipment to unsnarl the bank, put wax on them for shipping and get my skis on the way. In several emails he made sure that I had all the proper information for mounting bindings.Land Park Ski& Sports has definitely earned a new customer here in NH and I really look forward to dealing with them in the future. I thank them again and wish them a great season!

They are not educated on ski safety a do not have proper testing equipment for the work they perform. They ruined my brand new skis by having to remount.

We called ahead and talked to Tom. We told him that we were advanced skiers both skiing over 100 days a year. He promised two Volkl skies would be put aside for us. The Mantra he promised was not available and the same was true for my wife. We instead were given a lower level ski at the same price

Stay away from this place. Terrible costumer service,fishy place.I went there with my skis and bindings bought on backcountry(very reliable website) to get the bindings mounted and I paid 80 $.After one they called telling me that the bindings busted. (Really?)Luckily , on backcountry you can return your gears, and I told them that I would return the bindings and get a new pair as long as they would not charge me again to mount the new ones.They answered me that I would have to pay again in that case.Basically they broke my bindings and kept my money since they said that they had worked on them.Indeed, they were very rude .DO NOT COME HERE.
