This review is specifically for Cora Hanagami, one of their psychiatrists. She made my daughter cry after their intake. Hanagami does not care to get to know you. My daughter has been going to same psychiatrist for years but recently switched. Hanagami disregarded all of our old psychiatrist’s notes and denied my daughter her meds that she’s been taking for at least a year because she thinks, after talking to my daughter for 10 minutes, she doesn’t have her diagnosed health issue. She’s absolutely horrid.

I think everyone should spend some time talking to a therapist especially in this day and age. But I would not recommend this establishment... they missed on notifying patients of appointments thats cost me 400 in no show fees. I talked to billing and told them i am done with the stress of their weekly phone calls and insane no show fees and want something to be done, they sent me to reception at which point the fury of the situation got to me and i asked to have my account archived and cancel my future appointments. Without a second guess or consulting with my therapist they did, this tells me this facility is clearly about the money and not the patient. One of my support specialists rarely gave me the full time of my appointment, and i had to fight with them to adjust my program to better suit my life and convince this person i dont need what they are pushing. Pauli was/is a champ, but the constant harassment over billing and lack of understanding on a missed appointment is absurd. I would make large payments every month, but still got called weekly because the system shows my account delinquent Just like all medical services in America show me the money Back to the bartenders I suppose, Cheers!

Beware! Their offices are closed on weekends with no on-call doctor for prescriptions, making refills difficult. Their computer systems always seem to have some kind of issue. I was overcharged a number of times, but I had to draw the line when incorrect prescription information was sent to my pharmacy. Thankfully my pharmacist flagged it, but the staff at LifeStance just said it was an issue with their system and they submitted a ticket to fix it. I wish I could say this place is worth it, and maybe it does work for people who dont need medication. I also had one therapist ghost me after we went virtual for COVID safety, which was extremely frustrating to deal with.

Dont let the fake 5 star reviews fool you, I was better off before I contacted Pacific Coast Psychiatric Associates. Just when I really could have used a helping hand PCPA made things worse, and thats before I even talked to a counselor. Now I need counseling to deal with a failed counseling appointment. Compassion? Not at PCPA.

Absolutely awful. The doctor spent 5 minutes online with me for which she said I should see a therapist. After which I was billed $450. Thats right $450...and I forgot to mention she was a nurse practitioner. I am horrified by this service. DO NOT USE.
