I’m sure David is a great person so it’s not personal. Unfortunately, he allows new spouses into the coparenting meetings. My ex husband and I have a very, very complicated past. We were together for 10 years and have a 9 yo daughter. His new wife and I have a very tough relationship, yet she was allowed to come to EVERY SINGLE meeting. I spoke out in disagreement but David allowed it. It was horrible and not helpful. She was even allowed to participate. It’s called Co parenting not Tri parenting. His courses did not help one bit. I think if both coparents are ok with inviting others then ok but once one party has an issue with it then no. I hope that in the future, he changes this practice.

I recently attended a 3-day training with Dave, and was beyond impressed. From the very beginning, it was obvious that not only is Dave punctual and well prepared, but he is also an expert in his field. Dave presented detailed information on behavior management and crisis intervention techniques, elaborating on those concepts and techniques based on participant questions and experiences. Dave has a warm and welcoming demeanor, and is an engaging presenter. He conveyed his knowledge in a manner that was easily understandable for participants of all experience levels, all while keeping the group fully engaged. He struck that difficult balance between lightening the mood with humor and maintaining the group focus and respect necessary for the subject matter. I left the training confident in my knowledge of behavior management and crisis techniques as well as my ability to implement them. If you are seek similar training, I highly recommend Dave.

Dave provides incredibly informative and thorough trainings. The expectations and tone are set from the beginning. His calm and personable demeanor puts anyone at ease immediately. Dave truly represents the “solid object”. He is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of de-escalation techniques and problem solving. His extensive experience working with children and adolescents is apparent by his ability to answer any questions. In addition to systematically providing step by step information, Dave equips you with how to handle the “what-ifs” that often are helpful for practical applications. He ensures that everyone has a chance and feels comfortable to ask any questions that pertain to their individual needs. Given his repertoire of experience, I would highly recommend Dave for training, working with children, and working with families.

Mr. Elliott got it all wrong. My ex was previously evaluated and tested by a well respected forensic psychologist, who found that my ex emotionally and verbally abused our children. Mr Elliott seemed to have his mind made up before we entered his office that we were both just unreasonable parents playing at some child custody tug of war. Not true! I was trying to protect our children from more abuse. Mr Elliotts delayed and slapped together CCRC report just handed the children over to my ex for more time and more abuse. Avoid him if you can.

This man did my family a huge injustice. I was appointed him twice in 6 months for mediation. Because of his laziness to properly document our mediation agreement the first time I was forced to have to go back to court and refile. And his recommendation to the courts the 2nd time was bogus and did not have the best interest of our kids and even the judge over ruled his recommendation. My ex husband is in law enforcement and all this mediator did was sit and chat with him about how many people he knew. I would NOT recommend!!!

This man has no idea what he is doing. Avoid him! I hold a Masters in Behavioral Science and I was aghast at what I witnessed. If you care about your kids, stay away from him.
