I love the River City Staffing team! Changing jobs can be a cumbersome and sometimes daunting task, but with the RCS team I felt heard and that someone had my back in the entire process! I would like to thank Renee for her guidance and follow-through to find me something that would meet my needs as much as I met theirs.

Worked with several services in the area and River City took care of me the best. They provided me with honest feedback from several interviews I went on. I did have to shallow my pride and change things up but it ultimately landed me a a new career. Im full time employed, have benefits, great pay and work for great people.Thank you River City.

I went online to apply at River City Staffing. The website wanted candidates to upload their resume. I called River City Staffing to find out if they were looking for a resume that they would use to screen me, or if they were looking for a resume that could be forwarded to employers. The recruiter told me they were looking for a resume that contained my work history. I got the recruiters name and email address.I sent her a cover letter explaining that Id been out of the corporate world for a number of years and I attached a paragraph style resume that highlighted my office skills, had my most pertinent info on the first page and my work history on the second page. The recruiter replied via email that she hadnt read my resume because it was unclear and she was confused by the paragraph style. She told me we could discuss employment opportunities only after I rewrote my resume to conform to a bullet style template which she sent as an attachment.I called the recruiter because I wasnt sure how to make my resume conform to the template. The recruiter was very condescending when she explained that a resume must be bulleted and in chronological order. I responded that my most pertinent work experience was not my most recent employment, and that Id written my resume in a way that emphasized my most pertinent experience, but I did include my work history so she had a sense of the kinds of work Ive done. The recruiter insisted that I use her template. I said I didnt think wed be a good fit.In the mean time, I landed a job with another agency using the resume rejected by River City Staffing. When I asked the other recruiter if he would like me to revise my resume, he said my resume was fine. (This conversation occurred before the exchange with RCS.)

I applied to a job via Indeed. I was contacted by River City Staffing and asked to come into their offices. I was told I would receive a confirmation e- mail with the address and appointment time. I never received the e-mail confirmation. I looked up their address online. I went to the appointment and was given a stack of paper work to fill out including a W2. We had not discussed the job details yet. I didnt even know what company the job was for. I told the woman I would be happy to fill out such paper work after I knew more about the job such as the pay scale. I don’t make a habit of writing my social security number all over the place. I was then told that the person I was supposed to meet was at lunch and it would be another fifteen minutes past my appointment time. I decided to leave because if it’s this bad to begin with imagine how bad it will be later in the interview/hiring process.

Definitely not great but not bad either. They found me employment and in turn, I got on-boarded with the company. The only thing I do not like is the management at River City Staffing. For example, a recruiter on RCS was not clear cut with the pay and compensation about the company interested in me. The company that on-boarded me had a long phone conversation with her about everything that transpired. They could be better for sure.

Got an assigment which I was used to help a company for 4 days. I did amazing work. They said they had no reason to end my assignment other than that they needed to hire an entire financial crew. Coldly let me go. River City Staffing did not find me another assignment leaving me unemployed.
