Great customer service and attention to detail. Had them diagnose my EPC light and had an answer for me in no time, they also completed a 90,000 mile inspection. They had my car for a day and a half, gave it back to me detailed and a full report of what was needed and checked. Would recommend and bring my car back!

This was my first time going to Ellios German Auto. I was thoroughly pleased with the 80,000 service they performed on my 2015 Beetle Convertible. It was an extra nice touch that my car was washed and clean when I picked it up.. Emma in the office was friendly and knowledgeable when I scheduled my appointment and answered any questions I had from start to finish. I definitely plan on returning for service in the future.

Be careful they do stuff with out asking..and in the end you have to pay them or else they would stay with your car.. also they knew the problem of my car and last 2 times I took it they were just going around fixing things that didnt did to be fix...so they could charge.. I love Ellios! I would not have a BMW without their knowledge, prompt service, reasonable prices and kindness. Emma and the team are great. They start on time, finish promptly and charge a reasonable and fair amount. While a loaner car is offered I have never needed it because the wait is short enough. I cannot imagine taking my 328i anywhere else!

They are the best. I brought Mercedes here for sunroof repairing. Mercedes sunroof repairing costs thousands of dollars. And the guy was so nice, he helped me to close the sunroof but not fixing it and charged me a very reasonable price. They also let me leave my car a week earlier than my appointment as a favor. I’m very happy with their service and I would recommend them to everyone!

They were very nice to me even though I know nothing about cars (some places make me feel very unwelcome and occasionally I feel like they are manipulating me for more money) Elio’s never made me feel that way. Emma helped call and keep me updated throughout the experience. Ultimately they couldn’t preform the services needed because my car had to be fixed directly by the MINI dealerships technology, but they were very gracious and gave me helpful recommendations as well. I would definitely recommend if you need work done and especially if you feel uncomfortable at mechanics like I do.

I was referred by a friend of mine, and, as luck would have it, I needed to find a good local shop. I REALLY like that you can set your appointment online. I am busy during the day, so, remembering to call to make the appointment is challenging. Ellios shop is clean. Easy to find. Everyone there was friendly. They are VERY affordable and upfront with all costs. I really appreciate how simple everything was for me. I will absolutely be a return customer.

My wife received a 2002 Mercedes CLK as a gift from her aunt. It had an oil change at the dealership right after receiving it, after which we were given a list of suggested maintenance. There was very little explanation and no transparency in how they arrived at the list. We declined everything and started driving it as a weekend car for a year. We brought it to Ellios for a check-up and received a very detailed explanation of all the maintenance that could be done, along with what really should be done immediately and what could be delayed. They explained the measurements made and the tests they had done in order to arrive at their recommendations. They considered its use as a weekend car instead of a daily driver. I feel like we got much better advice at Ellios about how to take care of our older car. We chose to have the needed work done at Ellios and I feel very confident in the results. I am happy to be bringing our car back to Ellios next time.

Robert and Emma at Ellios are knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Ive taken both of my vehicles to them and the repairs are always done properly and on a timely basis. Repairs were also less expensive than the dealer.

Great Service!Best prices for German auto service. I shopped around and they had the best price for a transmission fluid and filter change. They also let me use one of their loaner vehicles while my BMW was being serviced.Very knowledgeable staff and Robert took the time to go over the transmission service details with me after the service was complete.

Good shop. Resolved a problem with my drive sport mode that four other places could not figure out since the car didn’t indicate an error on the computer.

Just moved to Davis from Manhattan Beach and was Lat for an oil service. Ellis’s was terrific in quickly accommodating my timing and worked with me. They also identified an additional problem that was still under warranty that was within 500 miles of expiration. New to the area, they called the nearby dealer and arranged for me to take it in after my car was ready and also got me a loaner car while the dealer order the parts and did the repair. They earned me as a permanent customer. While there I witnessed two other regular customers who were obviously there for the same reasons I will always return.

We were driving down from Seattle when the engine did something weird. Robert and his staff bent over backwards to get us taken care of! Their diligence and honesty are so appreciated! It was on my sons BMW 325i touring, had a fuel delivery problem, and they were able to fix it really quickly. I personally found Ellio’s German Auto accidentally online and I never regret it! Those guys are brilliant and honest not as some people on dealership... They are not trying to change half of your car parts before they will find a reason what is wrong and why speedometer stopped working. I liked how they did a courtesy inspection and told me in 2 hours what should be done. I wish I could place a 10 🌟 review since they did a major work for my car in 5 days. I had problem with DSC control unit, multi rib belt is cracking etc.But they told me don’t panic, ordered all parts and fixed it with a reasonable price compare to the dealership... My car run smooth again.I am really thankful to Robert and Emma you’re guys amazing!

I made an appointment for maintenance service on my VW Jetta, and after I was told the servicing had been completed, I took my car home. The next day however, I noticed the right front tire hadnt been inflated... it was almost flat. I re-inflated it myself immediately, suspecting a tire puncture, but finding instead that the tire has remained inflated, as I did it myself, ever since the serving at Ellios. Im thus left assuming that whomever the service person was who checked the tire pressures, and (supposedly) rotated the tires, as I had requested (more than once) that they be done, forgot to recheck the tire pressure in that tire, or maybe he deflated the tire, but then forgot to re-inflate it fully. Either way, the tire hadnt been inflated properly. Theres no other explanation here I can see that can account for this problem. Ive had other under-inflated tire issues come up with maintenance service at other businesses, from time to time. I wonder if these incidents are a result of basic maintenance personnel NOT FOLLOWING THROUGH COMPETENTLY ENOUGH on their duties. Haste seems a more-than-likely reoccurring problem with service personnel trying to finish customers work orders, but getting distracted or rushed, and then forgetting to finish checking ALL TIRE PRESSURES before handing the vehicle back.

After my Jettas shocks gave out completely after my recent weight gain, i really had no idea what to do. Everywhere else i called told me i was out of luck and should just by a bigger car.
