Getting an MRI done is not necessarily pleasant. The Tech I had talked and treated me like a real person not just the next subject for his machine. He was good at giving me the IV as well. He did what he could to make me comfortable with the experience. They were running late so they sent me a txt before hand so I didnt have to waste time in the waiting room, I appreciated that.

I am an ER physician and needed a Ct scan done. My doctor wrote the order and I was able to get an appointment right away. The front desk folks were very friendly. Paper work was easy to fill out. The CT tech was excellent. She was very friendly and efficient. IV was placed easily and the Ct was done quite quickly. Dr Patel the radiologist is excellent and is well known in the medical community of Austin

They told my roommate she had breast cancer, and needed more testing by their sister location. Long story short, all of the slides in the report that showed this “cancer” were missing from the disk. They charged her as a cash client $500, then tried to bill her for $1700 later. And Seton luckily stepped in with a grant- so she went there and after a new round of imaging and testing- they found NOTHING. Total scam of a place- run for your life.

I was recently seen here for an MRI of my spine. The front desk staff was very helpful, and they answered all of my questions about the price of my visit. They have recently upgraded their machine, and I could tell a big difference since my last visit. Brian did a great job explaining what to expect in the scanner, and he even asked what type of music I would like to listen to. Overall, getting an MRI is not a fun thing to do on your day off, but Preferred Imaging made it an great experience! I will definitely be coming here for all of my scans in the future

There was a little confusion about actual start time, but the front desk was able to fix the misunderstanding. Donna, who conducted the MRI was excellent! I have a lot of anxiety and claustrophobia. I took a Xanax before the appointment and she gave me time to relax. Donna provided warm blankets, found my deep vein on the first try and explained what was going to happen. Thank you.

I recently had the occasion wherein I needed a Lung CT Scan. However, as a caretaker for family members I am uninsured. Without health insurance, this circumstance was stressful and challenging. Thankfully, I located Radiology Assist who obtained orders from my doctor and coordinated an appointment for a low-cost scan. I can’t over emphasize how grateful I am for this service. The representatives at Round Rock Preferred Imaging were extremely professional, compassionate and empathetic. I’m grateful for their team members, including management, staff and technicians. Each time I called to inquire or express a concern they were extremely patient and reassuring. I highly recommend this top notch facility!!! Thank y’all for making a difference!!!

Very disappointed, went in on Friday evening late for a MRI, requested STAT by my doctor. They assured me that even at the late hour the radiologist would read the results and inform my doctor. I asked again, and was again was reassured my doctor would have the results no later than Saturday morning. Needless to say, no results were related over weekend. Its late Saturday now. Called my doctor, said no results were given to him. I’m stressed, as it was ordered stat for a very serious problem. Never ever again. Stay away. I’d give zero stars if I could.

I had an MRI done about a month ago for my knee... They were able to see me same day after I got off work. The location was clean. They had snacks set out and I thought that was a nice touch. I myself work in a Doctors office and I know how much patients appreciate the little things. The check in process was a couple forms like any other health facility would have. The MRI tech was very polite and professional as well as all the other staff I was in contact with. I hope I dont have to go back anytime soon but in the case Im needing an MRI again they are a great option.

I would rate them zero stars if that were an option. They said they checked with my insurance company and I owed $319.95 which was paid on the day of services. Then I receive a bill in the mail for $271.96 additional. This place is ripping off their patients. I would have waited to go to ARC if I would have known they were going to charge me almost double. When they called me, the person on the other end said he could not answer any billing questions but he would have someone call me back. The only calls Ive received have been an automated system. Why would you tell me you checked with my insurance when either you didnt or youre trying to take advantage of your patients? I feel like this is a BBB complaint

Called before arriving to my appointment to find out if I had a deducatable for my MRI. The woman over the phone said No you do not. I arrived to my appointment and asked the same question in front of the whole room of patients and the response from the receptionist was No you dont have a deductable. Surprise in the mail a month later! You owe $400 for your MRI deductable. Not again Preffered Imaging ! Avoid this place!

Its an okay place. Ive been to other places to have MRI exams done that were way more professional. The staff seems annoyed to be there and the atmosphere feels so gloomy. Kinda like a DMV. The MRI machine was VERY shaky. Ive been in enough MRI machines to know it wasnt supposed to be THAT shaky. There was no explanation of anything. If it was my first MRI, I wouldve been confused. Other places tell you how long the MRI process will take, explain everything before you get into the machine, check in on you every few minutes, etc.

I have had MRIs at almost every place int the Austin area. I am super happy with Preferred. The staff is nice, wait times are minimal and they are organized. The headphones they provide with YOUR choice of music make the boring MRIs fly by.

This place should be closed down. They use a very old out dated broken down MRI machine. My whole body vibrated while in it and of course the images were all blurry and totally useless. My doctor had to order another test at ARA where they have up to date machines. It was a total waste of time for me and a rip off to my insurance company who needs to pay for a useless test! I plan on reporting them to Medicare as a total scam operation.

Good solid service and did what I needed with the Eaton site. I couldn’t ask for more than that

This has to be the worst imaging center in Texas that I know of. They are so ass backwards. Someone booked my appointment on the wrong day. The billing and coroprate office never responds to their patients needs. The front desk girl Nicole helped me fill out my paperwork and was so nice and understanding and the lady name donna were really sweet.. thats the only positive out of my 2 visits there. Your better off going to ARC

MRI appointment was cancelled as I was pulling into parking lot. Reason given was due to issues with the machine. I rescheduled with ARA and had a great experience.

Have had multiple Scans done at this facility, great customer service. Never any issues with billing and they get my reports and film to the physician in a timely fashion.

My insurance has 100% coverage for MRIs, X-Rays, etc. however the front desk insisted it was only 90%. Im working with their billing department - which is not handled by Preferred Imaging - to get a refund. I would go somewhere else so I dont have to go through this hassle. And Ill be letting my doctor know also.

I had to go back due to incomplete MRI of the thumb. The Dr.s order said torn UCL of the thumb. Very inconvenient that I had to make a second trip.

I had the same billing issue and the front desk is very rude they never filed with my insurance and are trying to make me over pay by $400!!!!! This place is a scam I do not recommend going there!

The receptionist should be fired immediately, she has no idea what customer service means the rudest ever. STAY AWAY

Was told my insurance would be billed for $1,000 for my MRI but they actually billed over $4,700! They are trying to get me to pay over $1400 now, which goes against the contract they signed with me on payment terms. This place is full of fraud.
