After spending 6 months with a different credit repair company, I found Rock Credit Repair lovally. Decided to give them a shot. I thought I was stuck for the next few years. I started with Shane in Nov 2020, about 3 months ago. It was around $150 to start and then $89 Monthly w/ no commitment. My FICO Score was initially 534. Today, it is 631. I had 2 private student loans valued at around $12,000 which were in collections. I planned on paying at least 50% of that in case I had to settle with them but Shane sent out 2 letters to the Collections Agency and they DELETED both off of my report. This was HUGE. Please keep in mind repairing your credit is not magic. While Shane was working on his end, I was also doing my part. I got a secured credit card from Capital One which boosted my score right way. I ONLY use the card for up to 6% of credit limit as it is a TOOL to build credit and that is its only purpose. Then I got a copy of my report and settled all the minor credit card accounts for 50% of the balance so they would reflect a $0 Balance on my report. All these efforts, along with Shanes work, have improved my score and continue to do so. I highly recommend his service.

Im very disappointed in the service. I wouldve expected some improvement since January 14 and we are now moving into July. Actually, I have been told by several mortgage firms that I need to wait two years after bankruptcy discharge to get a mortgage, especially as an independent contractor. I was also told that I need a 700 FICO score to have better chances. Basically, I am in a contract and paying $200/month for something that is not happening. There was no way that I wouldve been approved for anything within 120 days, EVEN IF my credit was a 620 or 700. Nor did I stop my contract but pause it because of financial difficulty. It would have been so much smarter for me to use that $200 for this service to pay down some debts. My credit is already low, and now I can risk another account in collections if I dont pay. Ive learned from this experience.

The best around. I had some work to do to get qualified for a home, Shane personally met with my lenders and worked closely with them and I was approved. That lender now has Shane working with his other clients. I am still working with Shane and he stays on top of my reports as well as keeping me in the loop.
