The older man that cut my hair yesterday did a fine job on the cut. Horrible job on the styling and blow drying after he was done blow drying my hair he quickly pulled the cape off to push me out the door when I had a style left to do. I asked for curls and I got the exact opposite. My hair was frizzy and not a curl on my head. I wanted a fresh new look to go back home instead I had to wear my hair up in a bun because it looked awful. I’m an very unsatisfied. Oh and to top it off I left with a headache because he was so rough with my hair. And still had to pay for the style.

I absolutely recommend getting your next hair cut or new do here. The staff is excellent, fast, and friendly.

The turn around time to fix an experience with them from the owner was amazing. Linda did a great job fixing my hair. HIGHLY recommend Linda! She’s also a sweetheart!

Came in with pictures , front back and side view of a short pixie cut. Was told “yes, yes I can do that. Come back in 30 mins”. Came back to get the hair cut and it was cut off completely wrong. Nothing like the picture! Then she says, “well, you rushed me coming in close to closing “. Remember SHE told me to come back, then she blames me for a bad haircut. OMG! This is the WORST cut I have ever seen. Even the back of the hairline was cut uneven!!

Mrs. Barr is always pleasant. Will definitely go see her again.

Suong was super attentive and took care in his hair styling. A buzzcut that easily could have taken 5 minutes anywhere else turned out to be 20 minutes because Suong wanted all the details to be right. I will definitely be going back.

Linda Barr has been my stylist for several years. She is always very professional, super friendly and does everything to perfection. The last visit I tried a different style and she explained everything to me step by step that I would need to maintain it. The store is always clean and all the stylist are friendly.

This salon was recently remodeled and it looks great and is very clean. I have been going to Linda for my cut and highlights for over 15 yrs. She is great with her work and listens to what you want and delivers!

The guy who cut my hair was super rough. My hair is crooked. He charged me for a blowdry and instead of blow drying my hair, he used a straightening iron on my wet hair to SIZZLE and FRY my hair. I could hear it sizzling. When i asked him to stop he was rude and said my hair is too puff. I will post pictures of this but luckily, I have an appointment at another salon later tonight to correct this horrific nightmare and i will post pictures of what a real blow dry and haircut look like. Stay tuned.Update: I returned to the location to ask for a refund. I was polite. He responded, I dont know what happened but you were already in a bad mood when you came in. uhhhhhhh what?First, I was not in a bad mood. I was actually very excited to get my hair cut. I was looking forward to it. Yes, shortly into my experience I became agitated. But anyone else would have too if they saw dirty hair brushes filled with hair being used on them & their hair pulled/snagged so hard that their heads would jerk around & was rushed & a hot flattening iron was used on their wet hair causing it to sizzle and dmg the hair AND was treated rudely. I walked in happy but I walked out upset & crying.Second, I dont understand this logic. What, the mood of the customer affects the shape of their head? Is it, bad mood = crooked head = crooked hair? You know, Ive been in the customer service field for several years & I always looked at upset customers as my time to shine. It would be my time to show off my customer service skills & make an upset customer into a happy satisfied one. Lets humor the guy & pretend I was upset...wouldnt it have been amazing if he took that opportunity & thought to change my mood, make my hair beautiful, & let me walk out feeling like a million bucks with a smile on my face. Wouldnt that have been grand.After all that, I still didnt receive a refund. So disappointed.After I made this post I called their customer service and was told a regional manager would contact me in the next 48 hours and it would be up to them if I get a refund. 19 DAYS LATER AND STILL NO PHONE CALL AND NO REFUND. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT CROOKED, DAMAGED HAIR, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND RIPPED OFF!

Not all Cost Cutters are the same. This particular establishment is locally owned and I drive out of my way to go to this Cost Cutters even, after I moved, because of the superb and excellent management and staff!

Horrible customer service! They make you get your hair washed before they will give you a haircut and dont let you know that it will cost extra! After I was charged and complained they said they make you get your hair washed because of Covid-19, not because theyre trying to get more money out of you. I will never go back to this Cost Cutters!!!! I usually go to the Cost Cutters on Gattis School Rd in the Forest Commons and thats the one I will go to in the future. I called them after all this and they DO NOT require you to have your hair washed before cutting it.

I love going to Linda for my cut and color needs. She listens to what my expectations are, gives good hair care direction. She also goes the extra mile to make me feel pampered.

I dont know how any of the other stylists are, I only see Linda. Off and on since -1999/2000. I love her work. And I HIGHLY DOUBT she would RIP a client off!!

They don’t deserve even one star. Those ladies just can do hair cut for men not women. I went there and the lady she jumping on me I asked her for make my hair curly, she said it cost $150. When I said are you sure about price she changed it again and then she said I’ll do it for you, but it was ugly she done it for me and she charge me for $75. I don’t recommend to anyone waste your money and time.

Pros: Theyre cheap and quickCons: A bit too quick. They also dont seem to care much. My haircut looks uneven. Slightly disorganized.My stylist didnt communicate much. I wish she had asked more questions to see what I wanted. She basically pointed at a picture and I said that looked okay. I wanted just the general idea of the picture, not the exact haircut.I came in and told her that I wanted layers. I assumed she understood that I didnt want to take much off the bottom. She took off more than I wanted.Theyre a bit disorganized, too. There was some hair on the floor. I saw that instead of cleaning up after I left, they stylist looked at her phone.

I have come here before and theyve done a great job. Today, however, I went there early and the lady did a horrible job. She didnt listen to my request, didnt do aything I asked for, and when I told her I didnt want my hair textured she got defensive. Normally I would come here again, but because of this experience I will not be returning to this location.

I asked Linda Barr to do about 3-inches of roots only on my highlight. My hair came out lighter where I didnt want it and the roots were not even touched. She charged me $85 and didnt even apologize for not doing what I asked for. I regret paying and tipping her $5. I should have screamed RIPOFF. My roots are still dark brown and LINDA BARR RIPPED ME OFF and LIED TO ME. She didnt do roots at all.
