They re-upholstered my boat. Better prices than I found elsewhere, and gave me a discount for removing all pieces on my own. They were also willing to work with me on doing the work in phases so that I could still use the boat on the weekends (they werent able to complete the entire job within a one-week timeline). Alex had good suggestions some different types of materials that would look good in my boat.A couple minor snafus that are the only reason Im not giving them full 5-star review: timeline ended up being pushed back one week (they were moving offices, so I can relate), they put one cushion on upside-down (fixed it promptly when I returned the piece the next day), and one piece was damaged (but they fixed it when I pointed it out).

Rags-2-Riches completely redone the leather on both my front seats in my 1995 GMC Sierra pickup. Initially, I was a bit hesitant with going with these guys as I had already had the seats re-leathered before by other local leather upholstery shops and I was not please with how long there work lasted. Well, Im here to tell you that I am very happy with the the quality and look in the seats and the leather they used to upholster my seats is top grade; very soft. These guys at Rags-2-Riches are the most professional guys I have ever worked with. Alex and his other partner ( forgot his name ) worked with me closely to suggest and offer different designs, colors, and even embroidered the GMC emblem in headrest. As far as cost, Rags-2-Riches are very economical and reasonable, far less than what you will pay at AI in Round Rock and LM in Austin. Believe me, I know because I went and got estimates from those shops before I came to Rags-2-Riches. If you are looking to get your leather seats repaired or redone in showroom quality without having to Break the Bank, go with these guys. Heres some pics of before and afterwards.*****Update*****November 2020This establishment is under new management. I recently returned to the company to have them to make good on a warrantied problem I was having in my drivers seat. Although the manager promise to honor the Warranty and cover repair, they dont. Instead, they ignore my phone calls and never returns my voice messages. I would not recommend this new establishment for your leather repairs. These guys are definitely not the same guys that done my seats ( attached images ) three years ago.

Took my Porsche to Alex to have seat bottoms replaced in July. Gave him $200 to buy materials. He said it was going to take a week after a couple of weeks of phone calls and texts and no reply I stopped by his house and car was missing and no one would answer the door or answer my calls or texts. A couple weeks later stopped by and talked to a teenager and asked him to have Alex call me car was still missing. Months went by no car no answer no replies to text, I thought about reporting it stolen, but he seemed like a good guy just his business got hit because of Covid so I did not.Three weeks ago I see the car and Alex he said a trailer rolled into my car and he was going to take it to the body shop and have it fixed.Two weeks ago he said that he had finally completed my seats and the body shop would be done Thursday.Today I spotted the car in the driveway extensive damage to the front end looks like he tried to spray paint and sand it off paint on the headlights over spray all over and now in primerPassenger seat bottom missing drivers side seat has foam only the only work done was removing the seats. He has been driving the car had over 4000 mile put on it since dropped off. Now Im trying to get the missing parts to the car and my key so I can take it to the bodyshop and another upholstery shop to repair his damages he did.WARNING DO NOT USE RAGS TO RICHES

Alex & Eric are an amazing team. They are young, energetic and proud of the work they do. I took my King Ranch to have the seats stained and they literally looked like new. I took my jeep to have them paint the hood and top and it turned out excellent. I also took my BMW to have it clay bared and waxed and it turned out amazing. You can trust this shop to do quality work and their prices are unbeatable.

I went there for repairs on my upholstery in my car because my back seats had some burn spots from people smoking cigarettes. And They did a great job it looks brand new again then i ask Alex if he was up for an odd job request and he said sure what is it so I told him. He agreed to do the work an i must say that he did the most phenomenal job I ever seen an costume made which makes it even more unique like no other. ( the odd job request was to design a one of a kind sugar glider pouch for my sugar glider who loves it by the way .) I will be going back there again!!!! They are AWESOME I Had a great experience with them

Beyond happy with my service here at Rags 2 Riches! They fixed my droopy headliner and reinstalled/ painted a new bumper on my Mazda 6 2006. I dropped my car off right when they opened and it was done by the time they closed. Very impressed! The owner Alex responds in a timely manner, and you know hes about his business! Well , that’s not my experience with them thus far, they have had my boat for over a year and still are not complete.The talent is there, just not the work ethic,I guess I shouldn’t have gave them that much money up front.I dunno , I can’t even get them to answer the phone this morning .I even offered them $8,000 dollars for the $6,500 they are owed if they would know it out in ten days.It’s already covered for the most part , simply to install it is all that’s needed.If any one is a true friend if Alex please advise him of this shout out , to please come get paid ! And mind you this was/is a $15,000 dollar job.

I had an ink transfer stain on my passenger seat of my butter cream colored interior of my new Mercedes Benz. I purchased several products to try to remove the stain myself which only lightened the stain. Then I called Mercedes to fix it, they said they said couldnt do the job. I called Rags to Riches after reading reviews. Alex was polite and courteous. He had me come right in and he fixed it on the spot! It only took him about 30 minutes and it was done and looks great! The price was so reasonable I had to tip him 50% just for being so courteous, so fast and taking care of something that was really bothering me!Thank you Alex!

These guys do good work at an affordable price I run an automotive repair shop and I would definitely recommend Rags to Riches. They repaired some damage spots on my wifes Lexus and dyed the tan interior which made its worn interior look new. I also took the van which we were going to use as our company shop courtesy shuttle the carpet it was really worn and stained and it came out great Im going to have them fix them leather seats on another vehicle mine also did a great job very friendly I highly recommend them

I took my 2002 to have the drivers seat redone. The bottom was torn and the seat back had a tear. They were the BEST price in town and made the seat look brand new. I was seriously impressed how good it looked. Now the passenger seat looks bad comparatively. I think I will take it back to have the passenger seat redone since the drivers looks so good. He even touched up the leather color on the rear seat for free! I can’t recommend these guys enough.

My still pretty new Priuss front seats popped out. Toyota service cant fix it, they would only replace them. Luckily I found this trim repair place, Alex is awesome. Alex did a great job explaining the problem to me, and gave me couple options. He took time to match the leather color& texture. He also applies dyes to match blend the color with the back of the seats. After he complete the job, the color matched so well, you cant tell which parts were replaced. The quality of the work is impeccable, and the price is very reasonable.If I ever need any car trim work done, I would definitely come back here again. Highly recommended.

Took my truck in to repair tear on seat. Alex made it look like new within 1 day. He was very courteous and professional and I could not be any happier with the craftsmanship. Excellent work and very happy overall.

Im just gonna share my experience from my perspective and you can judge for yourself. I took my car in for panel replacement on four of my seats and redying the leather on all of the seats at their recommendation. Overall the seats look decent but I have one major issue. When I went to pick up my car, one of the seats now has a crack in the panel that wasnt there before. Another of the panels or two on the same seat also seemed to be in worse shape than when I left it. I was told that if they tore one of the panels in the process they would fix it. Now however, since they had completed the job without realizing they had torn a panel, they would only fix it if I paid them more to have it done. They also recommended me to pay more for additional panels to replace that they never recommended to begin with. It makes me wonder if part of their process made them that way. They did say they had a one year warranty on their work but if they wont even keep their warranty on day one, I have my doubts about any future warranty repairs. I went ahead and paid because they did the work, but at this point, I dont feel my goal was met of having seats that arent torn.

Sent in my 04 Volvo to get my headliner reupholstered and they did a fantastic job! The headliner is a perfect match to the rest of the inside of my car. Great group of guys working in there. Would recommend if you need to get anything reupholstered in your car.

I was in the final stages of building my show truck, and needed a place to finish off the interior when I found Rags 2 riches and Im glad I did! Alex and his team were very professional and able to answer all of my questions when I had them. I had them wrap my seats, door panels, headliner, visors and install new carpet. On top of the great service,the work itself was top notch! I will use them again in the future and I would recommend you do the same!

I brought the guys at Rags 2 Riches some door panels that I attempted to cover myself and messed them up. They did the job for me quickly for a reasonable price and they look great. Alex is my hero for his great work.

Worth the trip from Lakeway. Alex did a great job fixing a big tear on my hard to find Volvo vinyl like fabric. He basically did a transplant from inside the map pocket so the visible part of the seat was identically matched. Did all this in an afternoon. Highly recommended,. Professional, creative shop.

I recently took my 03 VW GTI to Rags 2 Riches to have my drivers side seat upholstery repaired as the seam was coming apart.Not only did they do an amazing job on the upholstery for a great price, I also had them detail the inside of my car and redo my old cloudy headlights. I wish I had thought to take before and after photos because the headlights sparkle and shine so much brighter. My interior looks brand new and it was a mess before they worked their magic.I am definitely going to them for all my inside and out car maintenance. So I recently moved here to Round Rock, Tejas from Phoenix, AZ lost all my connections. Started looking around and decided on Rags 2 Riches. I made a great choice! Alex got me setup and told me to come in and get with himself or Phil. I showed up and met senor Phil, but Im gonna call him Mr. Stitches from what the crew (other 2 employees there when I showed) at Rags 2 Riches told me. He can fix/sew anything and everything BLINDFOLDED! I needed my center console, and lumbar support replaced. Phil did an excellent job on both! Center console looks nice! And the way he took apart and reassembled the seat to fix lumbar support was like a surgeon. It feels brand new like the very first time I sat in seat driving off sales lot. Had a subwoofer center console enclosure I fabricated for a customer and had rags to riches cover it with vinyl, they did a top notch job and I could not be happier! Was done in the timeframe given with no questions asked! They are my go to for all upholstery work now.

Alex and his team did a fantastic job installing Katzkin seats into my Ram truck. It turned out beautiful, was affordable and FAST!

3 months and have $1,500 worth of leather over a rusty broken frame. They spray painted over the rust and hid the broken welds. In order to fix it properly, I have to start over.

I have a very specific Toyota Mr2 that Im real picky about and glad I allowed the team at Rags 2 Riches to fix my steering wheel, shift boot and Recaro seats I also have an rx7 build Im working on that I will be bringing as soon as the cars ready for the interior to be worked on. Repaired the leather in my 2005 Acura RL. Finished a two day job in one day! Reasonable pricing and great service.

I have called and come to the door repeatedly for the past several weeks and been meet with no answer and a full Voicemail box. Im not sure what kind of business model this is, but I dont think theyll be getting any of my money by no choice of my own.

Obviously based on previous reviews something went terribly wrong, but still... All-in-all, a piss poor job done by Rags2Riches. I genuinely cant find anything good to say about the work they did and I cant recommend anyone use them. Ive delayed posting a review but ultimately decided to go ahead. Photos are included to show what Im talking about.I dropped off the door panels and seats for my 240Z to be worked on; refoam the seats and re-cover the panels. In addition to the seats and panels I also left most of the parts required to do the job. I left premanufactured seat foams, new and expensive OEM style door panel skins (that take 3 months to get made), and new fuzzy for the door panels. Several days later Alex called to let me know everything was done. Id heard good things from another Z owner and all of the online reviews were positive so I felt like I was going to see great results. Boy was I wrong.....Problems:1. When I went to pick my stuff up Alex was nowhere to be found. He eventually showed up when I started raising Hell about my missing stuff.2. The door panels were poorly done. No new fuzzy, the original fuzzy was screwed back on with sheet metal screws, impossible to re-install the panels on the car like that. The bald original fuzzy and screws were covered with the fuzzy side of Velcro. They had misplaced the new fuzzies I left, said they never saw them. Impossible, I left them on top of the seats, so someone had to move them to work on the seats. After some searching someone finally found them. They said they had no way to re-install them since they were stapled on originally and their air stapler wasnt strong enough. Funny, my El Cheapo air stapler and compressor worked just fine when I finished their job after I got back home.3. One of the corners of the brand new, and expensive, door panels was obviously dragged and used to support the panel during work.4. When removing the original fuzzy they bent up the metal portion it attaches to that lips over the top of the doors. Months later Im STILL working out how Im going to fix that. The panels dont fit correctly over the top of the door and they are obviously bowed as you can see in the picture, the fuzzy shouldnt be sitting so high it can be seen. And I have to be careful that the windows dont catch on them going up.5. The way they attached the vinyl required further trimming to get the panels back on the doors. Not to mention poorly glued in a few places. Seriously, they should have recognized how they fit on the door and installed it properly.6. The seats turned out OK, but 99.9% sure they put a hole in the back of one of them. I dont recall it being there before, but I didnt look very closely either. No question that the tear was recent though.

Headliner for my Accord was replaced by them. They did a good job for a good price.

I accidentally ordered the replacement leather for my center console instead of the whole center console. I took the leather piece to them, the squeezed me In first thing in the morning and the finished product looks awesome!
