Excellent, quick service. I arrived a little after 8am in a Saturday and got my oil change and inspection within 40 minutes.They treated me with kindness and respect, and my car was handled with care, too. The team was professional and knowledgeable. I am glad I brought my 2017 Jetta here. Excellent experience.

I came here to get my oil changed and my inspection done. It was my first time coming here. The seating area was fairly clean although the floor was a little crumby. The guy behind the counter was friendly and wasted no time sparking up a conversation. Everything went well but my only complaint was that while my car was in the stall the key way in it with the door open and it was just chiming and chiming and chiming. I went out and just closed the door myself. It was annoying. Seems like you would just take the key out or just close the door. Why let it chime like that? I talked to the attendant about it he said that it wasnt harmful but he kind of understood. Overall it was a good experience and I even got a discount. Cant beat that.

Went in for a state inspection this morning and these guys took great care of me. Whole process was done in less than 15 minutes and I even made a couple friends while I was there. The building and lot are very clean and well looked after, and theres no strange smells. Id recommend this shop to anyone in the RR area.

Went to Kwik Kar today and I will not lie. I was not disappointed. Josh was very kind to me and took care of my car in a timely manner. Not only did he service my car they made sure not to make me feel like I was just awkwardly waiting. The manager William was super funny and very nice to me. These two men made my experience memorable and made my day. I will definitely be coming back and I absolutely recommend coming to get your car serviced here. I wouldn’t come here again. This place upsells you. I feel like they do try to take advantage of women. I came for an oil change and after leaving noticed on my receipt that it was $70. They didn’t let me know beforehand what kind of oil was going to be used or that it would cost that much. Come to find out my dad went to Kwik Kar in Georgetown and was charged $57 for the exact same oil and service. Don’t trust them.

The staff was attentive and seemed to take pride in helping me out with a full-service oil change at first, as it did not appear too busy when I stopped by around 3:30 or so in the afternoon on a Saturday. However, received a call to pick up the car by the time I reached McDonalds on the other side of I35, so that seemed a bit rushed, especially when oil changes are supposed to include topping off all relevant fluids and a standard 127-point inspection. Instead, my car received a rushed oil change that cost over $77. I can get an actual full-service oil change at several auto service companies near my house that actually top all fluids off and conduct a thorough 127-point inspection. During the phone call, they attempted to upsell me by offering to flush out the radiator as well as a few others. I understand that upselling is a standard procedure when dealing with customers, but when I respectfully declined such services, they chose not to fill my coolant reservoir to the fill line. They also did not top off the brake fluid, both of which I completed when I returned home. $77 and change for what was supposed to be a full-service synthetic oil change does not bode well for me, especially as it only appears as though they conducted the oil change. Not even sure if they utilized synthetic-rated motor oil. It was a quick stop while out of town and will not occur when in the area again. Thankfully I have trustworthy technicians near my home that take pride in what they do.

Brian at Kwik Kar is my go-to professional for my vehicle. He is always professional, up front, efficient and knowledgeable. I trust him completely and appreciate his hard work to get me back on the road as soon as possible. I take my Jeep Renegade to him for any issues and for ongoing maintenance. He thoroughly researches the issues when necessary and always lets me know my best options. I highly recommend Kwik Kar thanks to Brian!

Had a great experience here. I came in needing a lot of work done and they were able to take me in and have it finished within a few hours when it would have taken half a day in other shops. Really nice staff, very friendly. Also, if you need something to do while they work on your car, check out slapbox pizza. Its about an 8 minute walk from there and they have a great beer and pizza selection. Thanks guys!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I had an oil change on 3/3. They did not properly put on the oil plug causing a leak. I was forced to use a mechanic due to the danger of driving. The manager William was terrible to me and the mechanic on the phone. I would love to get in touch with someone higher up if anyone has any information. The mechanics were very apologetic and tried to help the best they could. It was a botched job which could have been very dangerous.

Would recommend not get your vehicle worked on at this shop. The Manager is very unprofessional. I noticed that my oil cap was missing today and the last time it was touched was when I had my oil changed there.(2 months ago) I called hoping maybe they would have have it or maybe had something that could help. The Manager talked to me like I was trying to hustle him or scam him. His tone was getting aggressive. Telling me Your a man right? So why did you not notice this earlier you should be checking your oil every 2 to 3 weeks. I felt belittled and completely disrespected. I will never go back and I hope no one else experiences what I did dealing with that crew.

Ladies please listen to the female reviews! They cheat and when I called back to complain what things that were not done that the receipt stated were. Worker blamed my “sensors”. After going somewhere else, my sensors were fine and they just didn’t do their job.

I got an oil change Saturday all was well. they were honest and got me out with my oil change and flush quickly even telling me I only had a couple oil changes before I needed a oil plug.Then it all went badly. I stated leading fluid, I swore it was oil. they popped the hood and said no, you gave a transmission leak. I call to get an appt with AAMCO for tomorrow. BUT being cynical and all about mechanics I looked where it was leaking from under the car.... didnt add up. I take it to a friend, we lift it up and boom oil!!!! from the drain plug.When I claimed a leak today they NEVER looked under the car or the would have caught it and got my 50.00 for a new plug. However now they just get an ex customer who is replacing it herself for 7.00.

Do not go here or trust them!!! This place lies to try and upsell you. I feel like they really try to take advantage of women. I went in just to get an oil change and Josh said I needed to replace my front brake pads, immediately, they were down to the white. I was quoted $320 for the work. I took my car to a break specialist to get the service done and was told my break pads were in great shape and there was no reason to replace them. I cant believe they lied right to my face!!! I will never go here again and I suggest you dont go here either.

Chad the manager is a great guy .his whole team are very knowledgable, they all work hard .Ive been to this location on several occasions. The store is very clean ,organized. It seems like most businesses these days hire employees that just dont seem to care about customer service, and that is why it is so refreshing to find a place that has great employees! I have used this location of Kwik Kar over the years, and they have always been very helpful and nice. But upon my recent visit, I was greeted and helped by Zachariah (Zac), and he went above and beyond to provide a very pleasant experience. This young man will go far in life, and probably be successful owning his own business one day because he actually gets the difference between having an entrepreneurial attitude and just an employee attitude. He was not only very friendly and professional, but he was efficient, and organized as well. He also took the time to explain details of the service, and even offered ways to save money on future visits. Additionally, he reiterated to me multiple times that he appreciated my business, and that meant a lot to me as a customer and as a business owner in Round Rock myself. As a long-time resident, I am proud to see young people like Zac preserving the values and integrity of the old days and keeping our town a great place to live and to do business! Keep up the good work!

I came in this morning for a state vehicle inspection. It was a fantastic experience. Ryan, the technician, wore a mask at all times. The whole facility including the lobby was immaculate. And they had the whole inspection done in less than 15 minutes.Ryan was very friendly and professional. I always have a bit of anxiety going into these inspections that I will be upsold for things I dont need, especially when I know these shops are hurting for business during the pandemic. Not the case here. I was treated like a valued customer.Ill be back for more services in the future based on how well I was treated today.

Inspection and car washWhen I dropped of my daughters car, the person that approached my car was not wearing a mask. When I told him I needed am inspection, oil change and car wash he asked if I had my insurance (which i carry on my phone) he tore up his paperwork and told me to take care of it inside and he didnt have a pen anyway. He looked very irritated. I asked if they could call me when everything was done. The woman inside took my number but never even asked for my name. I assume they had me in their database. 2.5hrs later I was getting concerned. I called. The car had been ready. I get there. They forgot to charge me for my inspection and had to avoid the transaction and start over. Not that big of a deal but I had to point ot out. Then I went outside to get my keys and no one would even acknowledge me. A little perturbed at this point I went back inside and told the manager to please get my keys. He did...overall, service was poor. Ive been many times to this business and Im sure Ill go again but hope this doesnt happen again.

I am so very happy I was referred here, to this location. After experiencing some issues at the Leander shop I am pleased to say that the guys here in Round Rock are exceptionally wonderful. I went in for a safety inspection. The tech didnt wear a mask or gloves inside my car while he did the inspection. After the inspection I asked the tech if he was going to wipe down the surfaces that was touched, the answer was no. During these Covid times I feel that health & safety must come first. I have other cars that need inspections, Ill be going elsewhere because I dont feel safe. Ive been a customer for over 25 years.

These guys changed my oil, and inspected my car in just a few minutes. Professional and quick.

So I got a 228$ oil change for my Camaro. Then one day later I got Another 228$ charge on my account. I went to Kwik Car to dispute the extra charge but they said they only charged me once. So I opened a dispute case with my bank and sure enough, they charged me twice. Then, my mother in law said she was also charged twice for her oil change. Im leaving this nasty review because this is just to much of a coincidence that this is a fluke. Check your bank accounts people! We are NOT going back to this company! Thankfully my bank reimbursed my money a month later. Im worried now that I didnt even get the oil change I paid for. I will be getting my car checked now and will open a case against them if I didnt get the oil change I paid for.

Cannot say enough good things about this shop and team. I pulled in after closing time when my battery light came on and they still took the time to run a battery and alternator test. I was invited back the next day, provided transportation for the day while the car was being serviced and it was ready by early that afternoon. THEN when i discovered my debit card was missing (likely at my workplace), one team member was willing to help me get some gas in case I couldn’t cover it without the card (I had another card but still, so nice). THEN when I began to have A/C issues, we did the same routine and I experienced the same quality customer service and timely turnover time. 10/10 would recommend!

I really like going here. I get my cars inspected here every year, as well as wash and detail. The staff is very personable and friendly. My husband is very big on keeping our money in Round Rock. We also appreciate that they keep Sundays for worship and are closed.

Scam artists. Paid for a synthetic blend oil change(asked for conventional and was talked into this one). Found out, they put in conventional oil and charged me an additional $15 for a blend additive.Glad I didnt get the other recommended services done, yall got me once, wont give you the opportunity to do it again. I looked up the MIghty additive, it is a 15oz bottle that costs around $4.50. Go elsewhere, this place will rip you off. They offer $5 off for a positive review, with service like that I can see why they need to pay for reviews.

The men got me in and out in less than 30 minutes for a vehicle inspection. The service was good.

Probably an ok place to go if you just need an oil change or very basic service on a Honda or a Ford. Took my 2013 Volvo there for new rear brake pads and rotors and ended up paying twice as much and taking twice as long (3 days!) as I had expected.

Great prices, good timely service, and amazing customer service. The manager gave us a discount today plus an offer of $5 off our next visit, simply out of the kindness of his heart. This is now our go-to place for sure.

Maybe I’m crazy but $90 for an oil change seems excessive. Also it was checked off that my cab was vacuumed and I definitely wasn’t. It makes me question what else was skipped during my oil change. I will be looking for a new company

The mechanic did not wear a mask the whole time that I was there. They are saying that they are following CDC guidelines but they are not and they dont care about all of their customers.

Had to run a few errands in Round Rock and we swung in here for an inspection. The gentleman who served us was super friendly and very professional. The inside office was clean and had complimentary coffee, cold water, and a fun variety of lollipops!!!

I’ve been coming to this location for years. I’ve never waited long and the staff has always been courteous and communicative. The location is convenient and close enough to walk a few blocks to grab some breakfast at the Lone Star Bakery if you have a wait. No car wash at this location but that is actually a plus for me as it cuts down on the congestion getting in.

Terrific service, honest answers, safe location near a highway. Leaving is a hard left look for people with bad neck flexibility, but not a busy street.

They helped me diagnose why my car was overheating, then fix for cheap as well as an oil change these guys are one of the best in town that I have found. Its as if they truly care about you and your car, not about the nickel and diming of money.

This group, especially Ken, saved my butt and my sanity. Ken kept an upbeat demeanor despite my distress from running into serious car trouble (engine overheating) while away from home. Then he went to go get a part from a dealership (and didnt markup the cost to me), and he and his tea did extra testing on the car and part to ensure proper functionality. To top all that off, he called me after hours and after I was on the road for a half hour to make sure nothing had happened, offering to meet me if something had. This transparency and focus on customer service were things I found to be exemplary. If you are in the Round Rock or greater Austin, I highly recommend making this location your primary one for auto mechanic services. Likewise for those of you road warriors who find yourselves in a pinch while in the area; you will be glad you did!

I have used these guys several times in the past for inspections because they are usually fast and convenient. The last time I went in, I was told they couldnt inspect the car because it was raining (read: light misting) and the state PROHIBITS inspections in the rain. A quick Google search proved that to be false. Went literally around the corner to Pit Pros and passed inspection in 30 minutes.

I have 6 vehicles in the family. Ive used Kwik Kar a number of times and have been satisfied, until today. My youngest child went to get an oil change and a state inspection. He was taken advantage of. He was told that he could only use synthetic oil in his 2011 Mazda 6 or it would void his warranty. Essentially this doubles the cost to an oil change and is completely a false statement. The manufacturer recommends synthetic but, does not require it. You have lost my business forever. And I will make sure to let others know.

Had a great overall experience at this Kwik Kar Lube & Tune. I just went for a standard oil chance, and they were very quick. The man who assisted me was also very professional and friendly. Later in the day I even noticed that they went out of their way to clean my floor mats, which was above an beyond. I will be returning

I always have a wonderful experience when I come here. Ive been to NTB, Jiffy Lube and other competitors, but I never get the GOOD quality experience at those places like I do here. The manager is so awesome and tells you straight up what your car needs. No hassle, no bullshit, give it to you straight. I wont ever go anywhere else.

Excellent service! Had brake pads replaced and 2 rotors replaced here on 2 of my autos. They will give you the price upfront and tell you what your car needs....they are not pushy like some places and it is entirely your decision if you want the additional services done. If you dont want it just say no. Friendly and they take care of your services quickly. I will be a repeat customer.

Called Walmart ahead of time, they said they were open for 2 more hours and could do oil changes. When I arrived they told me too bad, so sad... were short staffed and were not taking anyone elseI called Kwik Kar less than 20 minutes before they closed. They still accepted to do my oil change and I was in and out in about 10 minutes!Quick, efficient, and a good price.Dont waste your time anywhere else.
