Ian has a natural talent to teach. He is a great guy with superb Apple knowledge abilities. He was patient, easy to talk with and able to explain even my basic questions without ever making me feel the lesser. Now I have peace of mind that my devices are safe and that he is a phone call away if I should need him. The excellent reviews led me to call him and I hope anyone reading this does not hesitate to do the same.

My email system went down and I also had to do some major software updates, password changes, etc. In short, I needed professional help in several areas for my small business. Ian helped me recover data from an external drive that stopped working in Feb 2018. He did a great job identifying the problem and then was able to get the lost data onto my new drive. He kept in touch throughout the project and I’m very happy with the outcome. Great job!

Ian was referred to me by a friend who spoke very highly of him and his expertise with computers. I had several layers of issues with my computer and with my limited knowledge/understanding of technology, I was both very overwhelmed and very scared because of a hacking incident. Ian worked with me cleaning up things, explaining several preventative programs, and showing me how to better utilize safety mechanisms. As a side, I asked him if he might try to turn on my old dinosaur of a computer to get some very old photos off that computer. He took it home with him and I am thrilled that I now have those pictures on my newer computer. I have had several other people attempt to retrieve the pictures but with no success. After going to the Geek Squad at Bestbuy with my MacBook Pro they left me thinking that my computer was just going to be a paper weight and that I was going to lose all of my data! They also told me that my computer would have to be sent out somewhere for 3 months for about $50 and they will determine if anything could be saved. I asked them what if nothing can be saved? She said them I just lose the $50! I found Ian and he was able to recover ALL of my files and on top of that explained to me that my computer still has years left on it and got my computer back in working order! He stayed with my computer ad even allowed me to go buy and external HD and go get lunch hope he worked on getting my computer back! I even asked him if he wanted to break for lunch but he was adamant about fixing my laptop! I highly recommend this gentleman! Ian at Mac Learn has been a huge help on several occasions. I had picked up some malware and he was able to quickly navigate me thru the process of removing it. My parents have iPhones and they were having some issues. Ian went to their home; spent a few hours diagnosing the problems and also showing them how to better use their devices.
