Ive been using Ozzies for over 12 years. He came recommended from a good friend who had been using him for 15 years prior. John is great at taking care of my cars and keeping them in good shape with route maintenance and repairs when the arise. He is very trustworthy and dependable. His rates are also great. He has been working on my 2008 Lexus LS 460 and 2007 Lexus SC 430. I would highly recommend Ozzie.

Catalytic converter had to be changed in order to pass GA. Emissions inspection for tag. New used car to me had to be done and tagged within seven days. It was a holiday weekend. I dropped it off Monday night and got my call Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday passed inspection and got tag and was so happy with experience. John and his staff have been extraordinary. I highly recommend his service.

Ozzie’s Automotive is an excellent non-dealer alternative if you have a Honda, Lexus or Toyota.They are always fair - honest - competitively priced and complete repairs on time with no surprises.

My fiance was treated very well and her cars problem was assessed quickly and without a bunch of nonsense extras added in to pad the bill, which is unfortunately not uncommon with some shops, both chain and independent. Wow, Ozzi’s is amazing. I know just enough about cars to know if I’m being conned. Let’s face it, lots of repair places are less than straight with you. Ozzi’s is absolutely straight up, honest, and fair. Literally has talked me out of some repairs if they weren’t critical. For repairs that we did do, he was extremely fair on the price, the problem was resolved permanently and the cars worked perfectly after his team was done. I trust them implicitly. I’ve never said that about a car repair place ever.

My AC would cut off when I would accelerate after the engine was warm. I looked up the issue in some Prius forums and found it to be the AC clutch. I called around and John was the only one willing to fix the clutch rather than the entire compressor (2-3x the expense). It was done quickly and professionally, and I’ve been driving over a month and 1000+ miles and all is good! The reviews are true - honest and trustworthy!

Awesome business!

I was told by a dealer service dept that I needed brakes. I tookthe car to Ozzie to have the brake work done. After inspecting my car, John came out and told me I didnt need brakes. He asked me to please come back in 10,000-15,000 miles. He put my car back together and charged me nothing. Ive since been back, had the brake work done and was charged about 70% of what the dealer wanted. I highly recommend you give these good people a try.

Unfortunately looks like it wont be worth it to fix up my car, but they were patient, helpful, and generous to help us figure that out. Im not the most experienced person myself, but this has been the most positive auto care experience Ive had, and I appreciate the help! Definitely plan on returning if I need help with my next car.

Ozzis came highly recommended from a coworker of mine after I got an outrageous quote from a dealership. The dealership quoted me $1800, then John took a look and got me out the door for around $380! Very quick work, polite and professional, and a fair price. I cant recommend this shop enough!

Some dealership may have marble reception desk and free snacks, but they charge you outrageous part and labor cost to do car repair.Ozzis, on the other hand, may not have fancy facility but do professional repair with reasonable price and high quality. First Time I came to Ozzis I was getting a second opinion on a repair the dealership recommended. I was skeptical about what they were saying, so I brought my car to Ozzis and just described my symptom. John came back with the correct diagnosis and saved me $ and aggravation. Hes not close to me, Its 45 minutes to an hour- but worth the drive. HONESTY is king at Ozzis!

Have been taking both of our Lexus vehicles (1996 and 2004) to Ozzis for about 2 years now both for minor stuff such as oil changes and for major repairs such as a leaky rear engine seal. Weve always felt the price was more than fair (and significantly less than the Lexus dealer). We have found John, the owner, to be extremely honest about what does and does not need to be done. And all the repairs/service have been completed to our satisfaction and usually quicker than I expect. John is a Lexus trained Lexus Master technician and both he and his tech are ASE certified. They are honest, competent, fair and accommodating. In short, we are very pleased. Highly recommend Ozzis!May 2018 update. Just updating this review two years later to say nothing has changed. We are still very pleased with Ozzis and highly recommend the business. And not just for Lexus vehicles. Our daughter has been taking her Hyundai to Ozzis for about two years now and she is also very pleased.

My wife and I have had a LS400, ES300 and now a LS460. We have had all 3 of these cars in for some repair at Ozzis. We have always had quick and fair priced service. The most recent visit was for the check engine light. Turned out to just be the oil change indicator. John had it reset and we were good to go. No charge. Wonderful service. We will continue to take our newer LS460 to Ozzis for repair service and maybe routine maintenance service also.

My car stalled in the middle of the road on a Thursday night, had AAA drop my vehicle off at Ozzis which is the second time I’ve had repairs done here. John called me first thing Friday morning to get some information on what happened with the vehicle. In a couple hours he called me back with the problem and what needed to be done. I felt the prices were reasonable he was very polite and professional every time I called back with more and more questions lol and he had it done by the time I got off work. I appreciate the service and professionalism. All of our family vehicles have been serviced here! No regrets!

I have been going to Ozzis for 15+ years or so. I have recommended a dozen or so people as well because owner John and his crew are drop dead honest about what is wrong with your car and what needs to be repaired and what does not....and when a repair is necessary, the cost is much less than going to a dealer. The most recent example is that a friend of my sons brought in her car to a Toyota dealer. She had been given a list of repairs by the dealer that totaled $1,400. When my son and I heard this, we suggested she go to Ozzis because John and his crew could probably perform the same quality work for a lesser dollar amount (John used to head service at a dealer himself). The results were actually better than that. Johns crew found almost all of the repairs listed by the dealer were NOT necessary. Ozzis could have done the work and charged for it (and she would not have known any different), but John and his team explained why the majority of the items the dealer listed were unnecessary. Final bill from Ozzis was less than $50--a far cry from the dealers list totaling $1,400. My own personal stories on this are many. If you want honest reliable and affordable auto service, go to John and his team at Ozzis. This is why he has built such loyalty among customers over the years. BTW, John is a great guy, which should not surprise given the story here.

Good news and bad news...The good news is that I have found a mechanic to replace my dealership. For the past 17 years my 4Runner has been cared for exclusively by Stone Mountain Toyota. Over the past several years there has been a steady deterioration in the quality of service that I have received. The last time I took my 4Runner there for service will be the last time I take my car to that dealership.The service that my car received at Ozzis Automotive was memorable. The owner himself took great care of me, from the rapid and accurate estimate, through the check-in when I actually brought him the vehicle. The time estimate he gave me was accurate as was his initial estimate of my final bill. As if those things were not enough (and they WERE), I got into my vehicle to find that they had even vacuumed it. Sound like a small thing? Made a huge impression on me. The unspoken message that that small gesture sent was that they cared for my car as I would care for my car. They win. I am their new customer.Now for the bad news...I was kind of looking forward to purchasing a new vehicle. My 17-year-old 4Runner has more than 200,000 miles on the odometer. It looks and drives as well this year as it did in the first. Still, I reasoned that a 17-year-old vehicle didnt owe me anything so maybe it was time that I looked at a new one. Well, those hopes are dashed. If Ozzis Automotive continues to provide this level of service, I dont see a new one in my future :-)Thanks VERY much for providing an opportunity to share my experience.This review is as true in 2020 as it was when I first posted it. My 4Runner now has 231,000 happy miles the last 31,000 miles of which were under the care of John at Ozzis Automotive. STILL couldnt be happier to have found an honest mechanic!!

Brought in a car to be inspected before I bought it. He found some leaks and quoted me $600 but when I brought it to a different mechanic he quoted me $1200. When I called to ask why the difference he said he wasn’t sure what the process was to fix these leaks. Seems like if you’re gonna quote me before I buy a car you should actually know the cost of the repairs because I would have never bought this car for this price if I knew it was a $1200 fix. I’m not really sure how you just miss something like that but I’m really not happy about this service. Seems like a nice guy but cmon you gotta do your homework.

5 stars is not enough for Ozzis absolute professionalism, always good to fix anything wrong with my car, friendly staff, and never once has Ozzis left me wanting. If you have a Toyota or Lexus, you shouldnt be considering anyone else. If you dont have either of those cars, you should buy one because Ozzis Automotive is truly that good at what they do, every single time.

Picked up the reference for Ozzis on NextDoor. I have an old Prius which had the ABS Actuator go out and was crazy expensive new at the dealer. I decided to give Ozzis a try. They were great. Very timely, willing to work with my used part. Very affordable. Really pleased and will use them again.

I have used Ozzis shop for years on my two Lexus cars. John and his mechanics are very knowledgeable and skilled. They analyze every problem to find the right solution. If there is some doubt as to the exact cause they inform you and suggest the possible solutions. But John keeps a detailed record of the every appointment so if a similar problem or symptom occurs he can determine the exact cause. His quotes are accurate. There are never any surprises.

Our son has been taking his Lexus to John (Ozzis) for more than a couple years and FINALLY old dad has done the same. The first reaction is that John KNOWS Lexus and has a focus on accomplishing what needs to be accomplished to properly service the vehicles. Second is the cost of the service is a FRACTION of the dealers service department. Third, and probably most important is the certain feeling that i gain from what i am told needs to be done, what it is going to cost and when the work will be complete. 3 for 3 is ALWAYS good!

Ozzi and the crew at the shop are the BEST mechanics around. I have been taking my cars to Ozzi for 20+ years. Thanks to his managing the care and upkeep of my last Lexus, it ran for 265K miles...they know what to do, when to do it and i trust them all explicitly when they have a recommendation or insight. A neighbor recommended Ozzis and I was happy to try an independent mechanic and avoid dealer maintenance. I took our Sienna to John (owner) to see if it needed brakes. He checked the vehicle and determined it did not need brakes and did not charge me for the evaluation. Next, I brought in our Camry for a 35,000 mile service which was completed on the date and time as scheduled. Looking forward to bringing both vehicles back to Ozzis.
