I was looking around for someone to pop out a dent on my car and this place was a savior. Everyone else that I went to told me how I should replace the entire bumper and how inexpensive (1000$-1200$) it would be considering the cars make. It took less than 10 minutes to pop out the dent and it seemed like there was never a dent at all. Amazing quality of work, they definitely know their stuff. I am very certain about taking my car here for any future repairs and would highly recommend this store to every one I know.

When my car (Toyota 4Runner) wouldn’t start Alex arranged for it to be towed all the way from downtown Atlanta, which got to me in 15min. He then not only checked the battery and the starter, but also did a full maintenance tune up at my request (oil change, windshield wiper replacement, tire pressure, brake/accelerator pedal adjustment, etc.) all for a much more reasonable and fair price than any other competitor in the Atlanta area. Also, all this took only one day before the car was ready to be picked up. A nice guy who can really be trusted.

Alex can drive a car and listen to the sounds and feel the ride and know what is wrong. After a recommendation from a friend, we went to Alex to get a 2nd opinion on a problem with our Honda Odyssey that another shop told us would cost $1,100 to fix. Alex insisted the problem had been misdiagnosed and fixed the actual problem for $500. We have taken our Hondas to Alex ever since. Recently my check engine light came on, but I was busy and after 6 weeks the Accord began hesitating/vibrating upon acceleration, especially driving up a hill. I read on the internet that it was likely an air emissions system problem. When I went to Alex Auto this week, he drove it and said the hesitation/vibration was NOT due to the check engine light problem, but rather to a warped front axle. I argued with him based on what I read on the internet. I doubted. I read more on the internet and pushed back again by phone, but I decided to let him fix it his way. He was right.

I have been going to Alex auto for a long time he has take care of me from my original car build. Which at the time United Bmw dealership had royally screwed up my car again. By screwing up I mean not screwing in my rear axles causing my diff to turn into popcorn. Alex reviewed my documents and showed me individually the pricing of each item and install time. They had charged me for 22 hours more of work than was needed to fix the car... and didn’t even screw in the axles. Anyway back to the good part. Alex went above and beyond and got me back to running. Out of curiosity I went back to United Bmw and got a quote for the same thing. It was 6851 dollars more than what Alex quoted me for repair. He had me back and running for a 1/4 of the price and the car never had worked better. I will always take any car with issues to this guy because I have never met anyone in the car industry with more integrity and pride in his work than him. Truly always a pleasure to do business with.Thank you!

Wow, Alex is simply an incredible mechanic to go to. Its so hard to find shops that do great work at a reasonable price, but they do just that.I came in for what would ordinarily be a thousand plus dollar AC repair at any dealership, and Alex quoted me a small fraction of the price as he was able to repair the compressor instead of replace the entire thing. It was reverse sticker shock in the best kind of way.I very much plan on coming back here for any future maintenance/repairs and will be recommending him to all of my family and friends.

Alex found me on a social media BMW enthusiast page. I needed help with my vehicle and Alex assured me that he could handle the problem. I had been using a mechanic for about 5 years with 40 years of experience that traveled to me home to perform work. His job was making more demands on him and mobile auto repair was starting to wear him down. The type of vehicle that I had would have problems that would drag him out into deep water. This was more than 3 years ago. Alex has worked on 2 other vehicles that I own since then. His shop is clean and he knows what he can handle and what he cant. He runs the appropriate tests and arrives at an accurate diagnosis prior to giving you an estimate instead of wildly guessing or saying I think this is your problem. His pricing is fair and he wont sit on the repair. I drive about an hour and have to leave the car because of my commitments, but I feel that its worth it. I recommend, without hesitation or resolution, Alex to handle all of your automotive needs.

My beloved 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport keeps having to go from mechanic to mechanic without correcting the problem (Check Engine always comes back). I met Alex Sr., who immediately went to go check my car out. Within minutes, he had a diagnosis and a solution. However, he said that it would not be worth it to put in money in my old car. He was honest and upfront about the pros and cons of putting money into my car. I really respect this because he could have easily made $900, but instead gave me an overall opinion of the state of my car (would need more repairs in the future) and skipped out on making easy $ off a single mother.

I needed some Fuel injection cleaning and break services my dealer quoted at over $1400! I had ran out of warranty and this is my first time ever driving a car without warranty. He took the time to explain the break pad situation by showing it to me, and told me my rear brakes could wait a little longer if I needed to hold off. I did just that, Alex looked at my car and told me that it was good choice of purchase. He showed me what needed to be corrected and my car has been running well. He also gave me the old parts he removed. I get very nervous when I hear anything weird while driving, so I would take my car to Alex to check things out. He is very honest. New to the Atl,, got oil chg. by a coupon quickie shop, prior. Those IDIOTS forget to re-clamp positive side of car battery tight and there I was stranded roadside, engine dead. My 2010 Outlander would start just fine but as soon as Id put it in reverse and try to back out in the morning, Id have no power. I thought it was the battery so I bought a new battery, it didnt help, I thought it was the power steering fluid, I bought some but it didnt help, finally I said this is a job for Alex Auto so I left my car at the shop as I went out of town for a few days. I was afraid to ask what he found for fear of it being incredibly expensive but by some grace of God and his years of experience, he was able to figure out there was a recall on a part. He went out of his way to call Mitsubishi, make an appointment, bring my car over there, have them do the work on it and not only fix the problem but also found a way to warranty the parts that went wrong because of the recall. My 2010 Outlander runs like new and I guarantee no other auto shop would have gone the extra mile. I highly recommend them and always know theyll be incredibly honest, fair and kind. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I see a lot of reviews for mostly BMWs. Alex Auto also does a great job on other cars, I am an owner of a VW and I trust him with my car. Very honest and also has one of the cleanest shops I have seen in a long time :). Alex did something awesome for me today that I was inspired to write a review. I went to see Alex for a pre-purchase inspection on a 2001 BMW M5 and couldnt have been happier with the results... he and one of his mechanics both took a nice long look at the car after Alex took it for a quick test drive. When they finished up he walked me through the list of issues/problems that they encountered... He then told me what could wait, what needed to be addressed immediately, and what were other common problems w/ this particular make/model/year. He also provided a detailed/itemized list of repairs including what it would cost if he fixed it or what I would be able to source some of the parts for. Alex is a stand-up person and runs a clean/professional shop. Finally, someone I can actually trust when it comes to my car but the best thing about Alex is that he is just as picky as I am and his attention to detail, blows me away! I have to drive an hour away just to get to him and that is worth all the traffic and red lights one could handle.
