From the initial consultation to the finished product, everything about this experience was stellar. Jonathan and his crew were professional, personable, and knowledgeable. They made sure everything was done properly, despite some extra work required due to having a very old house. They were communicative when needing to do additional work and kept the work areas very clean. I would absolutely recommend their work for any fireplace needs.

Do not let these people into your home or the home of a loved one!After asking for this company to take a look at our gas fireplaces which were not working, the technician performed two chimney sweeps and inspections without providing pricing information or asking for my consent.Then, the technician presented me with a bill for $558. I refused to pay that amount as all I had requested was to have my gas fireplace looked at. I spoke to the owner, Jonathan Clements, on the phone and he agreed that the company did not provide pricing information before performing the work. He also agreed to accept the $200 that I offered for having the fireplaces returned to working order. His technician amended the invoice to show a bill of $200, he accepted my check, and the business deposited the check within a few days.Now, Hearthmaster has had its attorney send me a letter demanding an additional $358 for the work while threatening to file a mechanics lien on my house and pursue a lawsuit. This letter contains many inaccuracies, such as claiming they gave pricing info before coming out. This is disproven by the text message conversation we had with them.In short, I would not recommend that anyone in the Rome, GA area contact them or even allow them in your home.

We had a blazeking free standing wood stove installed. with a few learning curves on a new product Johnathan and his crew were incredible with skills and customer service. In the whole South east the only guys to take our custom job and not just sell us anything but the best stove for our application. its rare to find small businesses who do what they say.
