Its tough operating an enormous self-service buffet, during a pandemic its almost impossible. Ive seen a few that had to close. I applaud these folks and in particular their staff for keeping it going. A few understandable kinks given staff shortages and added safety procedures but youll get a belly full and enough to tickle the palate.

Staff were very helpful. I asked about a few things that were empty and they filled them ASAP. Also, the manager went out of his way to find me so I knew things had been refunded and I could get them. More variety than the other golden corrals Ive been to. Good was their typical quality, nothing gourmet but tasty and a good price for a whole family.

Angela ,in the bakery, over the weekend, was excellent! She left the bakery and got our drinks cause we had already been sitting for 15 minutes and had not gotten them. Not to mention, the dessert bar so many options to choose! Because of Angela and how nice she was, we will travel through from Chicago again!!

Great feeling as we listened to the grill chef talking to everyone and making each of us smile. Thank you to this person for making our Sunday breakfast even better!!

It was later in the day and they didnt have a lot of stuff out but since I was traveling on the road it was better than eating at a truck stop. A whole lot better. Also most of the bathroom stalls was dirty or not in use but I did manage to find one that works. Service was absolutely awesome and the waitress was really nice.

Went during breakfast. Cant remember the waiters name but she didnt want to be bother with us at all. If I remember correctly she filled about 2 to 3 cups up at a time for each person at our table so she wouldnt have to come back. Some of the plates and utensils were dirty. Other than that the food was pretty good and staff memebers/cooks were very awesome.

The food was cold the chicken was hard I was the top cook at Golden corral on numerous occasion I met the love of my life at the first one on capital Blvd and Millbrook at great store we took pride in our and management we took pride in what we served our customer that store need help where to yo serve cold soup it was a mess chicken was greases and cold nothing was serve at temperature I have ran kitchen at major hotel restarunt I upon a few form the ground

Tuesday July 27, 4:00 pm. When steak came out it was tough as leather. Many pans empty throughout visit. Almost no deserts. Uncomfortable due to being hot in dinning room. Real disappointed and wont be quick to return. Used to be an outstanding location. Now offers too little for the price.

My daughter and I went there for breakfast. This experience was not like my others, at various Golden Corrals. We got there around 8:30 am. Customer wise, it was steady. When we got out food the grits, eggs, corned beef hash and other food items were slightly warm, not hot at all. Not hot at all. The only hot food was an omelette, that was prepared as ordered. The fish was cold and hard as well. I believe it was leftover from the previous night. Wont be going there no time soon, for breakfast.

Amazing food, and options vary daily, but always a definitely great food. (I would try the steak, when its available. Its amazing!)

In my opinion, they opened too soon. The taste, temperature and quality on some of the items on the bar fell below the establishments standard. This, like many other restaurants lost a lot of workers so training new people will take time. Ill try again in a few months.

I would give 5 stars if they had turkey products as a breakfast pork substitute..

It was absolutely HORRIBLE! I paid $66 for my family and me. We ate hardly anything! Everything looked dried out and gross. I figured I couldnt go wrong with a salad but I was so wrong! There wasnt any lettuce or romaine left and they didnt fill it till my family was already done eating! I run an Applebees in Jersey and I could NEVER imagine serving my guests quality of food that I saw today. Totally unacceptable....if there was an option to give no stars I would have done that. Just very, very disappointed and disgusted...

They are some excellent people when u want to dine out and they are very respectable people that work here.

Totally not a fan of buffet style eating. However this is the 2nd Golden Corral that Ive visited in 2 separate states. Both were the same. Area not properly cleaned prior to seating. Food all over the floor. Just overall not good. Best part 4 me was the hot bread. Definitely would not go back or recommend.

Golden Corral Buffet &Grill was really nice and completely delicious, they have everything to choose from to eat , really enjoy my self.

Almost back to normal as far as the selections and how you get your food. The last time I was at a Golden Corral over the summer they were having one of the servers take your plate and you had to tell them what you wanted. Now they have disposable gloves right at the serving stations and you serve yourself. We had gotten there right before 2 on a Saturday before they were switching from lunch so was able to get some steak. The woman knew I had been waiting a couple of different times so she gave me a good size piece that actually was quite delicious. Was able to get the food choices I wanted and was delighted the dessert bar was back to norm except for the chocolate fountain which was fine, not a fan of that anyway lol. Staff was super nice, we had no problem with seating, and we all ate and liked what we had.

The food at Golden Corral is awesome! It is a great place to go when you want a little bit of everything! The customer service is great too!

It was hot. I was a bit uncomfortable. But now that thats out of the way, the food, 😋. So good. Every bite.

Not bad. Good service. Some of the glazed chicken, like the Bourbon Street Chicken, was really salty. Overall a good meal though.

My sons favorite place to eat I wish there was one in goldsboro NC so I didnt have to drive so far but its also on my way home from Roanoke rapids NC

Not the same since they changed new management. Wouldve gave it a 1 star but our waiter Mr. Richard was awesome!! The food was not hot at all. Got some ribs it felt let they just sit them out from the fridge and put them on the cutting board, the butter beans was warm with no flavor. So our waiter Mr. Richard tried to help by getting me another piece of ribs and it was the same. Then the man on the grill got an attitude when he was asked by another customer if he could put their ribs back on the grill to be heated up. Spent 70+ dollars for our family to eat sorry food. Never again will I eat here even if its free...

The last time we came it was so good. But this time i dont know what was going on. The corn on the cob was good the fish and steak.

Had all the southern fixings l love Brussels sprouts, spinach, dumplings, juicy ribs, smashed potatoes & gravy...swirl ice cream and hot fudge. My plate was too packed to photo. I know how some people hate to see food touching...my plate was overlapping. 😁

Food was fantastic and the grill cook Rick was amazing and made the visit a trillion times worth coming. Every restaurant needs a Rick for sure go there on Saturday mornings he works then. Would have been a 5 star but the ladies room wasnt the freshest smelling.

My opinion is probably based on the fact that the last time I went to Golden Corral they still had menus and you could order off it at lunch. The hot food was average. The salad bar was decent. Desserts were lacking except for the banana pudding which was good. The waitress was friendly but the cashier who greets you was not.It also seemed dark and crowded even though there werent that many ppl.Overall, meh minus.

Definitely my worst visit to any Golden Corral. I worked at one years ago, so that’s saying a lot.I tried to eat chicken, fish, and ham. All seemed undercooked, the chicken was actually pink.Brussel sprouts were mushy, food sitting in liquid and grease, place was pretty filthy.Our server seemed pleasant but she was the only employee who was.This fork was on the ground when we sat down, by my chair, the entire time we were there. No one bothered to clean up.Bathrooms were filthy.People were trying to distance themselves at tables but none were closed off for social distancing.Cashier never said we had to get our own silverware from the line. Wandered around for a bit trying to find forks.Not going back. Just when I thought I could handle a GC again, this happened.

Friendly staff torwards our family and the food selection is a perfect variety. We are not hungry anymore. Satisfied customers who will return soon.

I had a nice waitress but breakfast was kinda blain the guys preparing the food behind the bar seemed to be more concerned about talking to various folks than preparing the food. Kept running out of items.

The food is always on point!! The only thing I had a problem with was that they didnt have enough staff, because with covid restrictions being lifted, you should know that you are about to flooded with people and I feel that they just wasnt prepared enough!!We had to wait for tables to be cleared that were dirty for far too long!!

Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Cheese eggs are incredible, steak and fish just right! Personal Chef is friendly, polite and accurate, tablr servers are pleasant and keep ur drink glasses full and empty plates removed.

The food was fresh. Service was great - my French toast was made to order with a cheery response by the station attendant (7/19/20) & our table attendant was prompt and friendly. The hygiene precautions were paramount and well managed with gloves for visitors and good social distancing for seating. I enjoyed my meal... And I dont typically care for buffet meals🙈🙉🙊🙃

The food wasnt great. It was okay. It wasnt tasty, it wasnt flavorful, and one of the pieces of chicken I had wasnt fully cooked. I had the fried chicken, the bbq chicken, a piece of ham, a rib, some corn, and lima beans.

Just left there 30 minutes ago, will not grace their doorway ever again, the place was a mess, tables piled with dishes ,food on the counter , most of the food was either gone or old. It was honestly the worst I have ever seen. I paid over thirty two dollars for my self and my wife. The only time I feel more like Ive been robbed is when I do my taxes. I spent the ride home apologizing to my wife for taking her there. NEVER AGAIN !!!!

Have been eating at restaurant since it reopened. The place was well maintained and all precautions were taken as far as masks, social distancing and the use of gloves. Tonite October 30 that ball was dropped. There were customers at the buffet with no masks or gloves. I spoke to the manager. He listened but did nothing to ask customers to cover up. It was disappointing. Love the catfish on Friday but that is not worth the risks. We will not be returning. We have been eating there on Friday night for past 2 years. As stated will not be returning.

I was pleasantly surprised how good the prime rib was. Everyone in our party (10) had probably some of everything no complaints. Mr. Richard was so good at his job. Extremely helpful. I was on a scooter he tried to carry my plates for me. Never asked for anything he was right on top of drinks and clearing soiled dishes. You have a treasure in Richard. He needs to train your other employees and new hires. Ill be back soon.
