My wife told me to come here after being recommended by a friend of hers to see Kat. It was my third visit yesterday and Im still just as pleased as my first visit. She pays attention to detail, remembers things even I forgot that I told her, and always asks how Im feeling or doing. She does a great shampoo and hot towel face massage without pressuring me into any additional services. She did mention the owner is interested in raising prices a few dollars per service but that is more than fine seeing as how theyre still pretty low priced for salons in that area.

Under new ownership and the outside is undergoing a huge face lift. Theres new staff and a new atmosphere. Both of my sons were cut and styled by a stylist named Kaitlyn. She did a great job talking and engaging with both of them. My oldest, who is hard to please, is still smiling and its been a week! I highly recommend her for my friends and family.

The owner lost the business, downsized to one employee, and laid off the rest. Im not sure where the others went but Kat has left and gone to Taylor and Colt in the Village of Rochester. 120 N Adams Rd.You’re welcome.

I have known about this place for a while because I used to work in that plaza so I decided to take my 12 year old son there for a WAY overdue haircut today, his first time at a salon. The smile Kat put on my sons face is priceless!!! He was so incredibly happy and so was I. I would definitely recommend this place and cant wait until he needs another haircut so we can go back and see her.

Followed Kat here from her previous salon. She’s been cutting my hair for almost 6 years and I drive from Chesterfield to see her. Her consistency is what’s important, even on her not so good days she’s great at what she does. I thank her for that. The salon itself is a little drab but there’s always room for improvement.

Found this place on accident and dont regret it. Kat was super knowledgeable and fun. She did a killer bald fade and shampoo. Id come here for the shampoo alone! Excited that I found this place and looking forward to coming back.

Brought my da in for a very much needed haircut on sunday and had kat cut his hair and beard. she was so nice but all alone on a sunday. we were glad to have her she was kind and talented and my da is picky! lol thanks again now i have to bring him back. :)

My last visit was before Christmas and I have yet to go back because my hair is growing in quite nicely. I should be returning soon. Theres pros and cons to this place, but its to be expected. The prices are average considering the area/quality of the cut. Expect a haircut to be around $20. The place itself looks a little outdated but the entire strip plaza its in is under construction and looking good. My original stylist no longer works here but from the looks of it, every styist is competent. When I walked in, a lady with dark hair greeted me warmly and asked if i had an appoointment, which i didnt, and said it shoulndt be long. I asked for hr name and she said Kat then I asked if shed be cutting my hair which she said she had an appointment coming in but another stylist could hellp me. She offered me water or coffee and i said no but i appreciate that. My stylist was Hanna and she is very nice and took her time. I didnt feel rushed at all. All in all, this place is good.

This place is the only place I trust to get my hair cut. Heather is the best and I always recommend my friends and family. The girls there are amazing and create an amazing atmosphere.

Staff is always outside smoking. There’s hair all over the floor from previous cuts. It took an hour to get my kids hair cut. Do not recommend.

I often come here for my haircut and its a mostly pleasant and consistent experience. There have been occasions where Ive left moderately unhappy with the quality of my haircut (uneven sideburns, a few long hairs left around the ears, or they didnt show me my neckline)Id suggest finding a stylist youre happy with and staying with them, rather than taking first available.

They do great kids haircuts for a good price, and offer up great beard and mustache options. Recommend calling in advance, as they can get quite busy because of the good service

I see Jessica when I go in. Shes super friendly and is a phenomenal barber. They could easily charge $5-7 more a haircut and it wouldnt be an issue.

Honestly didnt know this place was open cause of the construction all along the building . i usually get my hair cut at a chain salon and im in and out in 10-15 min . came in for a haircut and was pleasantly surprised!! the shop is very comfortable and there are tvs on the walls to watch while u wait. A stylist nmed Kat cut my hair and she was awesome. Super friendly and knew what she was doing. i feel foolish going nywhere else now that i know i can get better quality for a decent price. thanks again, kat!

Always had a great experience. The girls here are amazing. Really run well by the staff. Jackie is my favorite.

This will be my first and last haircut at Playmakers. The haircut itself was fine, however Abby and Erika are very unprofessional. I came into the store, and proceeded to wait until Abby was done with her other appointment, as soon as he left she started bad mouthing him, if that were not enough Erika joined right in. The rest of my time there was spent with those two gossiping ninny’s blathering on and on about this person or that person.

Sarah is awesome; always a consistent cut and never have any complaints! Better spot for the money than any Lady Janes.

I had bought a Groupon deal for a haircut and beard trimming for my husband. But he had one of the worst makeover!!! He was too dissatisfied with the results.... Never recommending this to anyone again!

My sons got their hair cuts. One looked like Justin Beiber and hated on me for a week until it started to grow back in. My little guy had a cow lick for about 3 weeks. Very bad cuts.
