This service is set up very well. Most of the process is organized through a web-portal making it efficient for you and them. They contact you very quickly after you first submit your request for a quote. After you approve the cost, they schedule with you over the phone. Even the payment is done afterward through this portal. Quick and easy.For us, the turn around was a couple days, just a single stump in the way that he took care of quickly and with minimal interaction while I did other things. In and out in about 30 minutes and even gave us advice when asked about things in the area for future planting. All and all, would recommend and will use again for my future trimming needs too.

Ryan and his crew were extremely professional and responsive during all steps of the process. We received multiple quotes from different tree companies and Ryans came in just below the others. He was on time for the estimate as well as performing the work and provided confirmations as well as flexibility when scheduling and deciding what we wanted to have done. He was knowledgeable about the types of trees and tree health, and provided honest suggestions about what he thought we did and didnt need done. Ryan and his crew were professional and did a great job on the tree work, even asking us what we thought and whether we wanted more trimmed off. When it came time to move the heavy cut limbs back to their truck, they manually picked them up and moved them in large pieces rather than using the skid steer they had brought because the path they would have had to take in the skid steer may have torn up the yard. Finally, they did a thorough job of cleaning up after the job and making sure no limbs, twigs, or leaves were left. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

Wish I had found Ryan, owner of RVA Stumps sooner. I was looking to deadwood my very tall oaks especially those close to my house. Ryan is an arborist so I was aware he and his team would not harm the trees with spiked boots while maintaining their health by deadwooding. Ryan and his team did a great job with an eye to detail that had Ryan going up a tree a second time because he saw some deadwood that had been missed. And their clean up left my yard probably neater than before their job began. All this for a very reasonable price. Add to that, I was impressed by the software that his business uses to communicate with a client via email and thru his website. It handles requests for appointments, delivers estimates and invoices, and allows online payment for those invoices. Very nice, convenient, and professional.

Extremely fast turn-around time on getting us the quote after putting in the request. First-come-first-serve so it took a few weeks before they got out to us, but the job was so fast and professional. Excellence and professionalism can sum up my experience with RVA Stumps.I spoke with Ryan when he came to analyze the situation at my house and I found myself not just listening to an Arborist saying what needed to be done, but rather I was speaking with an Arborist who was explaining and defining why this situation was happening, the procedure which would take place, and patiently answering any questions I had.I had a tree which grew into three large trunks from a single stump. It split, with the large stump falling onto my property and laying on top of a tree in my front yard while the other two trunks were left leaning very precariously towards my neighbors property. Ryan was able to come out quickly for an estimate during a busy May season, and was the most affordable estimate we received, along with the shortest wait time to get the job scheduled. They did a good job and were fair. Of the 6 estimates received, they were the lowest slightly, and were the only that would not use a very heavy piece of equipment which I had concern could crack an older driveway that would have served as the access point to cut the tree.

Some days you dread someone coming to work at your house, but I enjoyed watching Ryan and his team do our tree work. Came exactly when he said he would be here, his quote was very fair, he climbed our BIG, old trees, with the wind blowing, and did a great job cutting the dead limbs. I was kind of hoping he would drop a limb on the fence I hate that was below the tree, but he didn’t. Perfect job and clean up was also very well done. Ryan responded to my email asking for an estimate the same day. He came to our house a couple days later, and he brought his team to our house the following week. We couldnt believe how fast they were! We had 3 large and 1 small tree removed, and another trimmed. They ground all the stumps the same day as well. Aside from the mulch left from the grinding, youd never even know they were there because the did such a thorough clean up job. Ryan even rescued some baby squirrels that had been found in one of the tees. We will definitely use their services again if needed.

After some rescheduling due to weather, we got Ryan out to our home and he was nothing but professional and apologetic for all the moving around. He went above and beyond to fit us in and we really appreciated his professionalism and ability to follow up.
