I’ll start off by saying that the one positive I carry away from my experience with this company is their attention to returning calls and communicating their schedule.Other than that, I was extremely unhappy with the work that was done. I hired them to get rid of several piles of trash in my yard. One of which was the removal of items from a pond about 12 feet in diameter and about three feet deep.On the scheduled day, I had to be away, but we agreed that they would do the work and I would pay them electronically.They said they completed the work and sent me pictures of what they said was the completed work. Because I’d had such a pleasant experience with them up to that point, and because we had an agreement,, I paid them the full amount promptly.When I got home and was able to inspect the work, I noticed that the pond still had A good amount of debris in it and that the pond liner at the bottom of the pond was still there. There was also two other piles that hadn’t been picked up as we had agreed upon.When I called, I was told by Marlon that we did not agree to get out all of the debris or the pond liner. (Question for the readers: Why in the world would I only pay for a partial job? The reason I hired him was because I didn’t want to do the work myself.). I absolutely wanted to do the entire pond and the liner and had discussed it with him.As angry as I was, I chalked it up to a loss. He agreed to come back and remove the other two piles that he neglected to get while he was there the first day.He showed up at my place without calling and backed his truck up to the pile at the back of my property. I assumed that he was getting all of the trash from there and was also going to get the other pile. He left debris in the pile where he parked and then picked up nothing from the other pile. After calling him about it, he told me that he’d done all of the work we agreed upon and that I’d have to send him a picture of what I was talking about even though I’d already sent him a picture prior to his arrival.I don’t know at what point in time he assumed that I wanted to clean up behind him after paying for him to do the job, but he was wrong. I now have to pay someone else to finish the job that I paid him to do.I was so irate that told him that he was no longer welcomed onto my property and should not think of returning. I also blocked his number in my contacts. Trying to convince someone to simply do the work you paid them to do is infuriating. I just wanted the work done as a clean transaction. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. If you were to use them, make sure that your instructions for what you want done are extremely detailed and written. And, under no circumstances should you have them do the work without supervision and you’d be a fool (unfortunately like I was) if you paid them before you were able to inspect the work and make sure that they’re done to your satisfaction.
