Upon entering this store today, I had the good fortune of meeting and speaking with the soon-to-be new owner Stephanie Clark. In the past while residing in Richmond I had been dropping off my clean packing peanuts to help promote reuse rather than immediately sending packing materials to the landfill. Thankfully, the upcoming owner plans to continue to support sustainability at her store. She also mentioned supporting local artists by displaying and selling their cards or notecards. Went to drop of packages. Owner seemed more annoyed by my business than anything. Raised issues with packages and threw them across the counter saying I needed to go to a different post office when I asked how much labels would be. If I could rate lower than a one I would. Extremely rude and very unhelpful.

Do not shop here unless you like the bait and switch. I brought in an Amazon return and asked if I could do the UPS return there. The cashier said, we cant read the barcode. We need the printed label. She then said, you can email it to us and we can print it here. I go through the whole thing of emailing them the label, and waiting for the label to print for the owner, who is now helping me because she had to open the email, to then say, thatll be $2 for the print out. I told her that I wasnt told there would be a charge, that I didnt even NEED them to print it. I could have printed it at home for free or I would have gone to an actual UPS Store. When I told her, that, she didnt care. Just mumbled something about not getting a cut from Amazon. I should have just taken my package back at that point but since the pages were printed and shed taped them onto the package, I decided not to. However, I understand why her entire staff quit. I certainly didnt go back there to mail my holiday gifts, thats for sure. Hope that $2 was worth it for her to completely lose any further business.

I thought maybe someone was just having a bad day, which is understandable, but looked at others comments and see that I’m not alone in my experience. Vince was incredibly rude and demeaning. I’ll go out of my way to take business elsewhere. I love supporting small and local businesses but not when they’re jerks.

This is the best shipping store in America – Im convinced! They take UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, DHL, etc and dont charge you a dime if they already have a shipping label. I wish like hell they at least sold soda pop so I could have bought SOMETHING but I figured a nice Google Review is the least I could do.

All love to them, but went in there the other day they quoted me 230 for a package, drove down the street to ups store and it was only 117 to ship. They’re good at what they do otherwise but def charge for it. Not the first time this has happened sadly. Shop around fo shooo.

They make shipping so easy. Stephanie is a super person and her team is excellent! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Extremely Rude. Owner talked down to me when asking a simple question about returns and 2 employees were not wearing masks. Awful.

I recently needed to ship several framed photographs to customers in different parts of the country. CP&S was able to give me several packing options, as well as several different shipping options. Being able to offer shipping options with several different carriers is just not an option with the UPS store or USPS. CP&S even followed up with me after I left when a different option was available. They have my business from now on.Great customer service and problem solving! And, a great way to Shop Local as well!!Thank you CP&S

I don’t know what to think about this place. Sometimes I come in and have a great experience and sometimes it’s terrible and I feel uncomfortable.The parking is terrible but the location is convenient.

The perfect team for Packing and Shipping valuable/fragile/sentimental artwork, antique furniture and highend audio speakers. Joey took a deep interest in making absolutely sure each piece of a complicated estate shipment was handled properly. I highly recommend this team (with HUGE kudos to Joey).

Have dropped off many UPS packages there in the past and was offered a receipt. Dropped off Fedex package and requested receipt and the owner refused. I mentioned that a package had been lost before and he smugly stated that they had been there 26 years. I assume hes trying to assure me theyve never, ever lost a package, and perhaps they havent but he doesnt control what happens after the package leaves and I would like proof of shipment. I dont think thats an unreasonable request.

Excellent customer service!! If you are looking for a shipping center to help you ship a package, they are really hard to beat. The guys have helped me many times! Thanks so much!!

If you want to get robbed this is your place to do business. I sent a few letters to Europe and was charged more than double the price per piece . Cannot even imagine what he up charges for UPS/Fed Ex/ DHL. I understand they need to make money, but charging more than the actual postage is wild, its simply unreal. Not to mention the owner/ operator is rude. If he was a nice guy maybe , maybe I would go back here and there even with his gouging prices. But never again. Never.

These guys are fantastic. They listened to me and handled a complex international shipment with ease.My only mistake was not coming to this store for previous shipments.

The staff is very customer service oriented and offer a great example for other businesses. This would be a green business because they often will reuse clean packing materials and boxes that customers bring them to use for other shipments. Reuse helps decrease the amount of packing materials and boxes going to landfills.

This place is all about old school customer service. I have shipped everything from run-of-the-mill Amazon returns to complex notarized shipments, and Ive always received great customer service, and paid less than going directly through the carriers.

Need to mail stuff that is a bit complicated to package? These folks are great. If you need packing and shipping services, they are really the only game in town that does it well.

For convenience and service, theyre terrific. set up an account and you walk in and walk out in 5 minutes or less. tracking number goes straight to your email. they save the places youve shipped. magic time!ive shipped from multiple venues in the area and their prices seem to be in line with standard pricing you get directly at ups or usps. if you have time to kill and want to price shop every package you send, go for it, but dollar for dollar carytown pack and ship is where its at.

If I could give no stars I would. Terrible customer service.

Had an Amazon return to make took my box in. They taped it up, put the label on it for me and everything. Great customer service!

They handle UPS and FedEx, knowledgeable staff. In and out, no hassle.

Shipped a 6 lb package to return some shoes to Chicago today via UPS Ground they charged $38. A complete ripoff. When I got home looked it up could have taken to much any other ups counter for $20. Would not use this store.

Went to send fed ex package. They have large fedex sign. They can not provide a confirmation page required by many corporations. Total waste of my time to drive there specifically to send package.

Lost package. Owner Vince is the worst.
