I had been working with recruiter Cameron Harris since about February before COVID. She first found me a very nice full-time opportunity with a reputable client here in RVA. My lay-off was unexpected due to COVID after only three months, but Cameron was transparent, helpful, and ultimately supportive in her effort to quickly get me into something else as soon as something was available. She made sure to communicate regularly with me and find for me full-time work that I found was worth doing. Even though I found work outside of IG, I rely on the fact that shes there as someone who wants to find the best jobs out there. Thanks Cam!

I was contacted by a recruiter from Insight Global about a remote job opportunity. I interviewed for it and got an offer. Accepted the offer and was given a start date. I went through basic onboarding but before the the start date arrived, they pushed back my start date by two weeks. I was fine with that because I had savings and welcomed the break between jobs. Then they pushed my start date back indefinitely citing client delays and the holidays. After the holidays I tried contacting them and they wouldnt answer. I contacted the client and discovered the role was canceled and they had never provided a start date to Insight Global. They never communicated any of this to me and the recruiter was too much of a coward to tell me the truth about the job. I went a full without income before I discovered the job didnt exist and I had to scramble to find a new employment opportunity. The manager at Insight Global just said sorry and did nothing to rectify the financial damages I incurred from their incompetence.

I have mixed feelings about Insight Global. I feel that the staff has been for the most part friendly and helpful, but they are very disorganized.Ive had decent success with them getting interviews but unfortunately all of the jobs ended up having something that didnt mesh well so nothing came of them. However I did appreciate the interview practice and the exposure to other companies so I wont say they were fruitless efforts. They are very quick to get interviews lined up, so thats one thing that they have going for them.Unfortunately, as I said before, they are disorganized. They will sometimes have someone call you when your already in the middle of working with another recruiter and act like its the first time youve ever met them.They also have some a lot of internal turnover from what I have noticed. Since having first started using them over a year ago, I have probably seen several new names come and go. This may be due to the fact that they hire a lot of people who are seemingly recent graduates who may not exactly interested in making recruiting a long term career. This may be also evidenced by the fact that a lot of the people Ive worked with had very little knowledge about the industries and roles they were trying to fill.Ive heard they also sometimes use applicants to build their own networks. I am not sure if this is true but I have had them ask me for contact information for people who I work for without any indication of what they are going to do with that information. I have read elsewhere online they are indeed using that info to try and sell their services. Again this may or may not be true.Ive also had them be rude a couple of times and they wouldnt call me to update me on anything or suddenly act like I was irrelevant. Then theyd start contacting me again like I was their good buddy. I really dont care for that kind of behavior.All this being said, I have a few friends who have used Insight and they all said that they had the most luck with them. I am not sure if this is just due to the fact that Insight is bigger than many of the other agencies or its just a coincidence.To finish, they are OK as far as recruiters go. They seem to be productive at least. I just wish they were better organized and hired more experienced people.

My experience with IG has been nothing but positive since working with them. Any issues that came up, they were on top of them as possible. I would like to give a special thanks to Cameron Harris for making sure I was taken care of during the onboarding process to the actual start date to ironing out other issues along the way. She did not hesitate to jump in and get things resolved for me. I have worked with several staffing firms in the past and Insight Global is definitely one of the good ones!

They hide important details about health insurance and when you actually get paid they say every week but its its whenever they get around to it. 3 weeks later and still waiting for my check been emailing and no response. such a bad bad company will not be working with them again. Anyone is better off working with anyone else.

Stay far away from these guys, They will not find you a job. They act like they care so much but will lie to you and send you out the door. First time I went in to a interview Kaylyn Ganzert said she would contact me that evening by phone or email and I never heard anything back. Second time I received a call from global asking me about a job and I said that I talked to someone before and then she said that shell talk to her co-worker and give me a call back,That never happened. Then this guy calls a Third time asking about a job and said the exact same thing Ill talk to my co-worker and give you a call back,Never happened! Real unprofessional group here that smiles in your face and tell you anything.

They have a whole squad of beautiful spirited ladies grinding it out to make sure I have everything going in my favor to be able to do my job with ease. Insight Global RVA office I would avoid at all cost honestly, recruiters don’t keep track of who that called already last week or month and are not qualified to screen people for IT jobs and they read the jobrequirements to you word for word not being able to tell you the difference between an Active Directory Federated Services vs. ITIL foundation cert at all. Account managers are the same or worse and their only real interest is to keep review’s that would make them look bad to clients off of job board’s any other URLs out theirs! Thanks and good luck!

Having had a job before joining IG, I can tell you nothing is better than the environment and work atmosphere at Insight! I rarely hung out with people from my old job (actually I never did), but here everyone is very helpful and they want to see you succeed. If youre a go-getter and want to get in sales, IGI is the place to be!
