Average score due to average work. My project manager Wayne and the contractor that did the work Manny were nice, but the project took entirely too long to complete. There was a conflict with the timely ordering of my materials that resulted in a huge delay on the project. I think they overbooked and my contractor got pulled away to focus on other projects.

One of the worst experiences of company representation. We recently had water damage upstairs that messed up our floors up stairs and part of the ceiling downstairs. We were told that we would need fans and dehumidifiers for approximately 5-10 days with the amount of water they saw with the thermal scanners. We trusted their judgment as we are not the experts. 15 fans and a dehumidifier down stairs in ONE room and 3 up stairs and a dehumidifier later we were told that was the norm and everything would be great no need to tear out any drywall or carpet. The next day the insurance inspector comes out and before stepping foot in the house took one look and said THAT IS EXCESSIVE He also told us that he would contact the team and he would not be able pay for all that and asked why they didnt take out any wet drywall. Then changed and said he would take care of all of it. Well all of a sudden the team shows up to check on progress and the 5-10 days dropped within an hour to 3 fans in the entire house and 1 dehumidifier which the inspector had said was standard. They also then decided it was best to remove 2 large section of drywall and a small section above the cabinets and install 2 more smaller fans with hoses to dry out that space. 24 hrs later the house surprisingly was all dry and everything was great. We were left with a gigantic hole in the ceiling, an insurance check that pretty much only covers the 3k bill that we received for the fans 95 degree house for 2 1/2 days and 2 severe sinus infections.

A tree limb fell on the roof of a rental property late on a Friday afternoon. The first couple contractors I was referred to declined the job - I can only assume it was due to the fact the weekend was near. Paul Davis without hesitation accepted the job, and tarped the roof to get through the weekend. We were able to get the roof repaired shortly after. Going forward, Paul Davis will be my go-to contractor emergency or not. Thanks guys for the speedy and professional service!

We used Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Richmond to repair and remodel an older 1950s home that needed a lot of attention. The Paul Davis team walked us through everything that was going to be restored and repaired and the estimate was extremely detailed and was given to us promptly. During the construction, unforeseen mold damage was found and the team was in constant communication on how to fix the problem, while still trying to stay within our repair budget.I cant thank the entire Paul Davis team enough for their professionalism and good work. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again for future repairs.
